If you miss the target, there's a gnome fishing on the shore that will port you back to the cannon for 30 silver.

Also, if you miss, you have to use another token to try again

Unlike some of the other games, this one is easy. After you pay your Spieljeton des Dunkelmond-Jahrmarkts to Maxima Blastenheimer and are loaded into the cannon, just angle your camera straight down.

A few seconds after blast-off, just as you pass over the end of the dock over-looking the water hit the 1 button to cancel your magic wings and you should plunge directly into the target ring, earning you all five points and getting you the Blastenheimers Volltreffer achievement.

You will need a Darkmoon Game Token to play any Darkmoon Games.

You can earn a token by turning in a quest, or you can simply buy 20 tokens for 1g 92s at level 85 (1g80s if you're exalted from before or if you're a goblin) by buying the Sack'O Tokens !
The price of the sack depends on your level (57s 60c to a player level 67 for example)!

These tokens are used to play the following games :

- It's Hammer Time
- The Humanoid Cannonball (obtainable achievement : Blastenheimer Bullseye)
- He Shoot, He Scores! (obtainable achievement : Quick Shot)
- Tonk Commander
- Target: Turtle

Todesritters should turn off Eisige Pfade... otherwise they'll be a splat instead of a splash.

If you fancy yourself a comedian... group with one of your buddies and tell him you're going to see how well he's timing his drop and keep it on when he shoots from the cannon.

I wrote this to help myself, but I realize it may help others as well so here we go:

Setup the mini "addon" by pasting these two lines of code (one after the other, as it's too big for one macro) in the chat:

In any case I hope it helps! If it's off by a little after a couple of tries you can tweak 2.35 to something lower or higher, depending on latency.

Also try to avoid using the Blastenheimer cannon when buffed with Levitieren. The results are hilarious, but counter-productive.

The trick is to cancel the wings when you are right about the edge of the dock (if you looking straight down on your character). Two shots was all it took.

OK. so my problem is. I get in cannon. I press nothing no button. Cannon Shoots. I fly out. then stop and glide down only up to the sandbox only a 20 yards or so away. So whats happening. I keep going in. i press direction buttons and still the same problem. Whats happening with me? My Latency is 740 ms home and 717 ms world. so IDK

Don't try this with 500ms lag you don't make it and it hurts when you hit the ground.

Any button press will cancel the buff. Also, sometimes it malfunctions (in a programming intended way) and shoots you straight up with no wings, high enough to damage you 90% of your health through fall damage.

Unlike most dailies, the dailys for the booth games give absolutely no experience. Which is why you get no gold from completing them.

You can't level up your lowbies by doing these dailys.

EDIT: Now in 5.0.4, although they still give no experience, they count as level appropriate quests for 60,000 guild exp each time you complete them.

Seems to be bugged, I landed inside the circle and only got 1 point.
Last night did this and landed outside the circle but got 3 points.

Is anyone else having an issue with landing in WAY different spots than you thought? I usually hit the 1 button just as I get TO the dock (not at the end as is mentioned above), but where I land seems completely random. I've done it 3 times so far tonight and it's no different. The first time I landed almost dead center in the ring and got 3 points. The 2nd time I landed WAY short of the ring and got 0 points. The third time I tried waiting till I got to the end of the dock and I WAY overshot the ring. I don't think it's a latency issue with me cause my lag is only about 130ms (total). Any ideas?
Edit: I just did it a 4th time and I hit the button just as I got TO the dock (as I did on my first two attempts) but this time I OVERshot the ring.. so ya, I am going to go with the idea of "where you land is completely random"

A few tips. First, landing inside the circle of the target won't necessarily get you the full 5 points. Its how close you are to the computer's interpretation of where the exact center is. After that, the closer you are to that, the more points you get.

I just got the full 5 points on 1 try. Here's how:

When you're in the cannon, hold down BOTH mouse buttons, and aim toward the billboard size banners. Keep your other hand hovering over the "1" key. As soon as you get to the water's edge of the boardwalk (between the 2 posts holding it up), release both mouse buttons simultaneously, and hit the "1" key.

This may take some practice, but it'll get you the perfect bullseye, and the 5 points in 1 shot.

Here`s another trick to land in the circle. It works perfect for me. Make sure you got your sound on and listen carefully to the counting. You can just close your eyes and listen. Five, four, three ,two, one, add a second in the speed with she counts on and just press the 1 button. So you press on zero.

Don't you love it when 1st try you miss the ring, 2nd try you score 1 point, you score 1 point once again, followed by 2 points and when there is 1 point left for you to score you get a Bullseye! >.<

Quick Tip:

Make sure that you don't have Langsamer Fall or any other similar effects active when you get blasted out of the cannon or "you may find yourself... in another part of the world."

Tips if you are a priest, dont have levitate on when you are getting shoot in the cannon, you will fly forever out in the water.

Ok.Here is a way to get the achievement Blastenheimers Volltreffer. I first did it by mistake, then I retried and retried, and got it the same way. Not always the first time, but most of the times one shot is enough.And other than achievement you can do it to complete your daily quest quick and not having to ride back or to pay the most expensive cost/distance teleport.
So, all you have to do is land in the water. Closer to the bullseye is better but not critical. The trick is, as soon as you hit the water,start jumping towards the centre of the the target.You know...like a spastic kid trying to avoid drowning. Just jump and move. Once in the centre, keep jumping around if you didn't got it,as sometimes it takes few seconds to "hit" the right spot.
If you get deep under water from falling, and it takes time to get to surface chances are pretty high that it won't work. But if you are near the surface just jump and move.
To summarize, and of course what other people mentioned, Don't be under the effect of Langsamer Fall, Eisige Pfade,Levitieren, Wasserwandeln orElixier des Wasserwandelns.

I have tried the suggestions here and I am guessing the quest may be bugged a bit. First try, I landed nearly dead center of the ring. Not only did I not get any achievement, I also got no points. Second try, I missed the center, but still landed in the circle - still no points. Third try was similar to the second. So, three tries, three circle landings and zero points. Latency is low and game (for a change) is running smoothly. Am I perhaps doing something wrong still?

May try this one a few more times and move on to something else...

I found that the distance between the moment you release and the point of landing is also dependant on your character's race size. I switched from Night Elf to Gnome (Burgy's hat) and I found I need to release earlier to land in the circle than if I were to use the gnome costume.

One Ticket Tactics - Watch the Dock

All of the Darkmoon Faire daily games can be completed on a single ticket. Different games require more skill or luck to achieve this one ticket goal.

In "The Humanoid Cannonball", the key techniques are:

Pan the camera angle to look as straight down the cannon barrel as possible.
Use the edge of the dock as the criteria to hit the "1" key to drop. Faster toons need to hit the drop key before the edge of the dock, slower toons may need to hit slightly after. By slightly I'm talking 1/4" or less
Once you figure out the timing, this technique should give you either a 3 pt "Great Shot" or 5 pt Blastenheimers Volltreffer
If at first you don't succeed,the green robed fishing at the nearby shore will teleport you back to the cannon for a nominal fee (fee depends on your level)
You can't influence your flight path left or right. The only control you have is when to drop from your wings

If you have bad latency issues with your server, this game is nearly impossible to complete. Hitting a bullseye is rare, but you should be able to complete the game with two Great Shots most of the time.

You can go to Teleportologist Fozlebub, the Gnome mage fishing near the target, and he will teleport you back to the cannon. You do not need any buff for that!
