first end/start any quests from people in the camp before you complete this one!
Also when he starts talking; RUN!

As he finishes the brew will explode killing everyone in the neigberhood including the quest givers

After he has finished and respawnd he will have more quest, so I would advise to do an other quest while waiting for him to respawn.

For those without cords. You should also be on the quest, "Akiris by the bundle", and "If they're just going to leave them lying around" You'll be in the same area as the water. Run to the beach past the raiders until you see some naga. Run up a path then again up another one until you reach an archway. Kill some more naga and run across a bridge, you'll see the water there in a small fountain.

After completing this quest, Dask will mix the basilisk glue and pure water and apply the potion to the sample of mysterious Mosh'ogg rocks that you sent from Fort Livingston. He then says:

We just mix these two together...
...give a little swirl...
...alchemy, alchemy, alchemy...
...and, we put the potion on the sample...
There we go. The substance that you have brought me is approximately... 150,000 years old? What!? I'm going to have to run another test.
