I went over to where the quest giver was and it still took me until my skill level was up to 43 from 1... lol this was definitely a pain quest... lol but well worth it!

Where is the guy who you turn this quest into? I'm standing right on top of the ? mark on my minimap but there is nothing here.

Got it on my tenth cast with a fishing skill level of 130 (+115 with pole/bauble/drink).

For those of you who had a hard time finding where to turn this quest in it like I did.... here's what you do:
Faranell is in a room under the "?". Go to either room directly to the left or right of where the "?" appears and in the back of those rooms there's a tunnel that leads to him. Faranell is in the center of that room.

To turn this quest in, you want to go to the southwest side of the city, on the far side of the canals. Look for the Apothecarium on your map. One entrance is at 53.1,76.9, about halfway between where it says Apothecarium and Undercity on the map. The other entrance to the basement laboratory where Master Apothecary Faranell can be found is at 44.8,66.2, at the end of the S-curve that starts at the A of Apothecarium on the map.

Holy Freggin Fish Head Batman! 26 days in a row and have yet to get this quest in order to complete Gone Fishing.... What gives?

OK ... Ive got a lvl 72 , and fishing at 354/450. Can do Dalaran and Old Man Barlo and Og fishing dallies together on the same day , BUT can pick up any with Undercity . Why is this so ?

[There was an... incident... with an orc guard and one of Master Apothecary Faranell's abominations.

Apparently, the Kor'kron Overseer chopped its head clean off and kicked it into the slime.

Faranell's apprentices searched for hours but they can't find the thing. Care to try fishing it up? I'm sure the old fellow'd be grateful.]
