If you happen to be on The Stone March and its subsequent quests leading up to the reforming of the World Pillar, you won't be able to turn this quest in to Therazane until you finish that chain and she returns to her throne in the north-central part of the zone.

Even worse: it is possible to get "Wayward Child" and "Into the Stonecore" while being in "The Stone March" questline.

If that happens, the entrance to Stonecore will be phased out: you can see the summoning stone and entrance portal from a distance but approaching will phase everything out making you unable to enter the Stonecore.

Possible solution: make sure you discovered SC before this happened, that way, the LFG system can teleport you inside.

Dodgy solution: using a fast mount, use a steep angle to dive into the portal before it can disappear. It might take a few tries but it will get you in.

Third solution: fly around the northern part of Deepholm (simply follow the border) until you find Therazane and can obtain the next "The Stone March" quest. In my case this was "Word in Stone".

Edit: also note that dropping "Wayward Child" is not a problem: *possible spoiler* The stone mother will come to the pillar room at which point you will get another quest called "The Stone Throne" and - if you dropped it - "Wayward Child". After handing in "The Stone Throne", SC is once again open for business and you can now simply enter the dungeon.

This seems to be one of the few Dungeon quests remaining that aren't available inside of the dungeon itself. Strange.

use the portal in the temple to get to here..if she shouldnt be at the throne use the portal back and again to her..

Interesting that in all of this discussion, no one give the coords of the entrance into the dungeon... I'm at a complete loss....geez
