He leads you on a merry chase through his cave, watch out for the mushrooms he throws each time he stops. You can destroy the mushrooms before they explode.

Earthmender Norsala spawns inside the cave at 68.6, 28.8. If someone else is on the quest - you need to wait for them to finish

If the quest is bugged, (i.e she's just standing somewhere refusing to talk to you) you can kill her by standing on top of one of the close by mushrooms, if she's close enough she will take dmg from this and eventually die and respawn...

quite possibly the worst designed quest still in the game. after wasting time running all through the caves and finally checking wowhead, it's only then that you discover that you're supposed to wait ten minutes at the entrance until the NPC shows up and escorts you to the boss

This is the most aggravating quest in Deepholm. It's impossible to finish on pvp servers.

Horrible quest. To add to the fun, it's easy to get stuck in combat after the quest because of the adds and not be able to fly out afterwards. Run as far as you can from the cave entrance if this happens and the in-combat flag will clear.

So I managed to start the quest and about halfway through she just stopped and then promptly vanished. =/ No clue why, I watched about ten other people finish this with no issue.

Killing her buy standing in a mushroom does "unbug" the quest. and you dont actually ahve to talk to her, you can just kill Glop and you will get credit for talking to her.

She was not up when we checked, but Glop was. We killed Glop and it completed both parts of the quest (Speak to Earthmender Norsala & Fungalmancer Glop slain). On our way out, we noticed Norsala immediately respawned after the Glop kill.

with the newest updated patch (12-14-10). you can now get credit for the kill just by being near him when someone kills him. happened to me.

When fighting Glop do not go past here he stops. I did so when trying to avoid the mushrooms and just focus on him, when I did that he evaded and faded back to the start point. Next time stayed back and was able to complete the quest when he ran to the third point and I finally killed him.

If you're a shaman, then your Magma Totem on this quest is your friend. It will take out both the mushrooms and the adds. Just make sure to keep it up.

This quest can be picked up after doing roughly 102 quests (quest-chain) in Deepholm. Once completing the quests/turn-ins to Gorsik the Tumultuous (quests: Gone Soft, Doomshrooms and Unnatural Causes) you can pick up Shaken and Stirred and Corruption Destruction. You don't need to do those quests to do this one, but they lead you to the area where Ruberick is located for picking up this quest.

The mushrooms he spawns or... throws at your character explode once fully grown. If you did the quest with the Doomshrooms prior to this, that is about their full size.

Never the less the Boomshrooms he throws at your character only have a mere 2600 (Give or take a hundred or so) health points. So you should be able to kill them easily. If you for some reason cannot kill them, just run away from them. 10 yards distance should do the trick. But remember! Your NPC companion along this quest does take damage too!

I've done this quite easily with fire mage. I just started the event and was just chasing the Fungalmancer, scorching him, fire-blacting him. Killed him after 4 stops, got healed by the Earthmender.
Quest finished in 5 minutes on lvl 83.

Tough quest. I found that she doesnt heal you quick enough and eventually die. I just ran away and she aggroed the beast, then came back.
