Find Slain Crew Members all around the ship. Use the Spirit Totem on them. They will either attack or simply tell you the information you are after.

Anyone else annoyed by the outcome of this?

Here I thought this would be the Alliance's Broken Front. At the Broken Front, the Alliance was attacking the real bad guy and the Horde attacked them from behind. Here it was looking like the Horde was helping the Earthen Ring fix the world and the Alliance attacked them in cold blood likewise. I was glad to see some moral fairness. The Broken Front actually made me feel shame for being Horde, and here I was hoping that the Alliance was going to get equal treatment.

But no. It was the cultists. The Alliance, as usual, is totally innocent.

Maybe it would be fair if the Horde that attacked the Broken Front were actually disguised Cult of the Damned members, or whatever, but no those were true-blue Hordies. We didn't get a handwave.

This quest line is really sad. (Quest Lore fan) ... this made me cry knowing what the cultist have done. :(

This quest tends to be buggy, as it will consistently tell you, despite targeting a body and placing the totem, that "I don't have a target." Rather frustrating, but the only real thing you can do is is keep placing them. It happens at least half the time, on three of my characters so far. It's possible this is related to latency, as it seems to occur more when I'm at 150+ MS as compared to 150-. This may be coincidence, but players with a high ping beware.

Sometimes the ghosts are hostile. You have time to drop the totem and then get on a flying mount and still get credit but not have to spend time fighting a hostile mob that will despawn after a few seconds.

Sometimes it will bug and nothing will happen if you click on the totem. The totem will pop and the corpse will disappear, but you won't get any credit for the quest. Well, it looks like I found out how to avoid that bug.

What causes it:
you untarget the corpse shortly after you click on the totem item. (You can untarget the corpse for any reason, don't forget it's a bug)

How to avoid it :
Just make sure you target the corpse for a good 5 seconds after the totem spawn :p and you will get credit for the quest (add will spawn or the corpse will say something).

nothing will happen if you just stand next to a corpse and click the totem, you have to target the corpses for the totem to be able to be placed

i suggest spamming them and it's an easy and fast quest
