The objects "Injured Fawn" can be really hard to see. I suggest you use /tar to select them. The quickest way to complete this quest is to stay mounted, click on your "Injured Fawn" and fly back to the quest giver. Your "Injured Fawn" doesn't seem to attract aggro and will follow as fast as you can fly.

i had to fly around a few times to get credit. it worked well when i flew about ten yards east of the questgiver.

They seem perfectly capable of running behind my 310% flying mount with no problems at all considering they're "injured".

They're relatively safe while the elementals are busy being slaughtered by half the playerbase, but don't dawdle leading them back because they can be targeted and killed. I had two following me while riding my flyer on the ground, one got targeted by a mob, the other died (to aoe I think) when I stopped to kill said mob.

The fawns can be a little difficult to see initially, but they tend to be right next to the big rocks and trees. Save yourself some time and find all three before returning to the quest giver.

Picked up my fawn and started flying back towards the quest giver as it happily followed me.

About half way there I see "-2453 (pet)" scroll past me on my combat text addon. The poor fawn managed to run right over one of the flame jets just as it spouted. :'(

So yeah, please take care of your fawn and don't lead him to a fiery death like I did.

Flying mount works but only to a certain altitude, above which the fawn bails out. So just stay close to the ground and it's not a problem. What altitude? Haven't a clue but you can get high enough to avoid most aggro.

Garden of Aessina people make this quest out harder than it really is, tab those 3 fawns, use your flying mount and fly to the garden, get remotely close to the questgiver and voila! your done. I accept donations on paypal.

As injured as they may seem they can run as fast as your mount and climb the highest mountains . Use that to finish the quest without aggroing any hostiles.

i had trouble finding these little critters. the best way to describe it is; next ashen lake. They're like as small as the rabbits and squirrels.Seriously just use your flying mount. lol

Quest reward Cloak of Cheerful Flowers is a lie - not a single flower on it. The cloak is actually a drab blue and is anti-cheerful. I use it to smother fawns...

Be careful if you're doing Black Heart of Flame, the boss managed to take all three of my fawns out with his ring of fire.

To find injured fawns, look for lighter brown spot next to fallen trees. That is where I always find them - They are not running around but are laying down. I hope that this helps everyone.

I tried to target the fawns, but for some reason I couldn't. So I fly around and fund them - they are those small deer lying on the ground, in the same place where you were saving the Frighted Animals.

I was on this quest and I kept noticing my fawns disappearing. Finally I looked back just in time to see my Creepy Crate burping one up. It gave me a good laugh for sure, but I stayed mounted after that so he couldn't get to them.

They lay on their sides, not moving, next to fallen tree's. The raging firestorms never attacked while I clicked them.

Using /tar inj helps more if you have the minimap setup to show your target location.
