FEB 2010 - LOVE IS IN THE AIR

This is the beginning of quest line which will unlock "Crushing the Crown" quest. Crushing the Crown is necessary for Dangerous Love achievement (thus Fool For Love meta achievement).

Uncommon Scent (IF) - pick up from Junior Inspector near IF bank then travel to Inspector Snip Snagglebolt at SW bank. Note: this quest can be skipped by going directly to Snip in SW, but seriously this is easy gold .

+ Something Stinks (SW) - use the "Snagglebolt's Air Analyzer" from your inventory on guards in SW. When you target a guard check if they have a purple buff of "Heavily Perfumed". I used analyzer on the 2 guards at the bank and guards by SW entrance.

+ Pilfering Perfume (SW) - you'll be turned into a goblin, quickly run outside of SW and hang a left against wall, you'll automatically pick up a crate then run back to Inspector Snip.

+ Fireworks at the Gilded Rose (SW) - go into SW inn and upstairs, turn in quest.

+ Hot on the Trail (SW) - run over to the SW Barber shop, then SW AH, then SW Bank.

+ A Friendly Chat (SW) - go to the SW harbor and interact with Snivel near the middle dock.

QUESTLINE COMPLETE
You've now unlocked 2 quests.

Crushing the Crown (Crystal Song) - just below Dalaran blow up the wagon, then kill 5 mobs. This is a daily quest so you can get 5 Love Tokens.

Man on the Inside (SFK) - quest to kill holiday boss in SFK.

I took the tram over to Ironforge and went to Junior Inspector to grab his quest, but couldn't. He just said: "Something stinks, and for once it's not my socks."

I really want the Dangerous love achievement for the "love fool" title which i don't have. Also, I cant deliver the A Gift for the Lord of Ironforge quest. Because Magni Bronzebeard is not there.. Only some other dude.

I really want the achievement. :c

I found I could queue for the seasonal boss by talking to Steamwheedle Shyster (I found him on the AH Bridge in IF)

If you completed this quest chain in a previous year you can't do it again; and don't have to. The dailies are unlocked for you. On the Alliance side you can get the dailies from (way Stormwind City 61.51 75.27 Inspector Snip Snagglebolt).

If you only got part way through last year you will have to find the next quest giver in the chain.

Even though these quests are tied to a holiday they are "regular" quests and can only be done once.

To be clear, this is an optional breadcrumb quest to get you from Darnassus/Ironforge/The Exodar to Stormwind. The quest giver is near the other materialistic goblins, by the bank in Darnassus and Ironforge, and outside of the main entrance to The Exodar. The destination is near the old bank in Stormwind.
