He spawns near the well by Clara Charles' house.
Spawn time = 5 min

I just stood by the well killing him every spawn to pick up "Westfall Deed" (https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=1972) to start the "Furlbrow's Deed" (https://www.wowhead.com/cata/quest=184) quest.

The drop rate is very low.

Possible bug: He spawned twice every now and then, with 10 min spawn time.

Just as a side note, he only spawns when Clara Charles is by the well. He also says one of the common defias lines ("The Brotherhood will not tolerate your actions." or "Ah, a chance to use this freshly sharpened blade."), even when there is no one within the aggro range. I wonder what Clara did to them?

I've noticed that these are the only npcs that use energy in wow.

The spawn time is roughly 3-5 minutes.

They spawn each time Clara goes to the well.

Looks like they are stealing the water from the well from her possibly?

Maybe threatening her? they have to be there for some reason...

the real question is what did clara do to them?

This is the only hostile NPC that wears sunglasses. Making him also only 1 of 2 NPCs that wear sunglasses, the other being Haris Pilton.

OK! So me and my friend (Both DK's lvl 58's fresh from Acherus) went dueling outside of Stormwind next to the well.

So this ambusher added insult to injury, when I beat my friend in a duel, the moment the duel was over and he was on 1 hp, this guy comes up from nowhere, one shots him with a single backstab with his dagger saying ''Gimme all your gold!'', my friend falls to the ground dead, and the ambusher starts running away and disappears.

I saw it front row, was one of the funniest moments ever! (my friend was a male draenei so it was hilarious watching the death animation of him falling on his knees screaming in pain with the mob running away, he got owned by a lvl 9!)

These guys, along with their dear criminal friends, tend to yell some catchy punchlines every now and then when engaging in combat. I took some time to kill these and really check what sort of things they have to say, and I came up with a short little list of curious phrases. Here they are!

No one here gets out alive!
Give me all your gold!
You're in the wrong place at the wrong time, pal!
Fate has brought you to me!
Your money or your life!

The last one (Your money or your life!) seems to be unique to Rogue Wizards - they yell it quite commonly whereas during a long period of running through Thunder Falls and that little house by the lake as well as Jerod's Landing and Brackwell Pumpkin Patch no one else yelled "Your money or your life!".

Mobs who share the other yells: Cutpurse, Rogue Wizard, Bandit, Ambusher, Bodyguard, Dockworker, Dockmaster
Mobs who (surprisingly) DON'T: Thuros Lightfingers, Morgaine the Sly, James Clark, Erlan Drudgemoor, Surena Caledon, Morgan the Collector

Note: all of the mobs mentioned above drop Linen Scrap for the quest Fine Linen Goods with the excecption of Thuros and Morgaine.

Some extra information on Ambushers

Not only are these Ambushers among the very few mobs with energy, they are the lowest level ones to be among that group. These guys got quite a nice aesthetical boost making them look a lot more "ambusher-like" with that dark hitman-gear. Here's how the used to look like. The Ambushers don't have any special loots, but they do drop the Westfall Deed among with Linen Scraps. They spawn by the well and try to attack Clara Charles, a human female NPC living in a house right aside the well itself -- she seems to have made a bad decision or more during her life. The fighting style of Ambushers differs slightly from other humans and, according to some sources, they even blink their eyes once they've been killed.

Abilities

It's kind of harsh to say that these mighty killers have no abilities, but they simply don't possess any other powers than their basic melee attacks. They seem to be easier to kill than their friends, even though they have that interesting energy bar to use.

This guy appears just outside of SW to the rt. as you leave the city, as far as I can tell, he moves from the "well" area to Clara's house then seems to vanish... to reappear again a while later but have yet to figure out the timeframe(s)

I encountered him near a house while I was drunk (experimenting that being drunk makes a mob appear 2 levels lower). So then I killed it, being shocked that it looked like an Deadmines dude.

Is this for a quest or something? Ive killed him bout 100 times dont know what hes for though.

This guys isnt always there... First time I thought he was rare but I didnt see any Silver Dragon. I think Blizzard should make this guy spawn more often or put that Silver Dragon where it belongs...

Clara Charles occasionally (about every 4min or so) walks to the well nearby her house right outside the gates of Stormwind. I noticed this guy appear running to the well as she stood there. There seems to be some rumours that they are in love or something (克拉拉·查尔斯#comments). He doesn't seem to always appear; but out of four "walks" that Clara did to the well I killed him twice.
