I realised that the Blessing of Kings ability of this NPC is spellsteal'able by a mage. And it stacks with a similar buff. (I had mark of the wild and it didn't disappear.) So i think it kind of stacks.

When Mind Controlled by a priest it isn't currently possible to have them buff you with Kings (although the nearby warriors can unwillingly give you their Commanding Shout!)

...and oddly enough there is a 8-damage-per-tick consecration on their toolbar that costs 39,886 mana... Which is way more than 4x their maximum mana pool!

Also this dude may possibly be a subtle homage to the Diablo 2 paladin.
