Hunter specific tips:
- In my guild we have a warlock to pull caster-twin and a hunter to pull physical-twin
- Pull with aimed shot to get aggro (distracting shot won't work on him) and so that you don't loose aggro to healers
- When you've run over to mt use detecence if you have it (and aspect of the monkey ofc)
- When mt has hit the twin at least 2 times (preferably 3) you can feign death and join the others
- Hunters run right after teleport, not when melee'ers run
- No aimed shots after 5 sec warning to teleport, aimed shots might go off, follow the twin after his teleport and you'll aggro him right away
- NO MULTISHOT! remove it from your bar, even I have pressed it by mistake after having downed them about 6 times
- Only aimed shot and rapid fire are any good to cast here while nuking

Vek'lor is the caster twin, he is immune to all physical damage and is usually tanked by a warlock with 315 shadow resistance. I was one of our two warlock tanks when my guild downed emps and i figured it would be helpful for me to share what shadow resistance gear i got and how.
Helm -
Nemesis Skullcap
(+10 SR)
Neck -
Amulet of Shadow Shielding
(+20 SR)
Shoulders -
Felheart Shoulder Pads
with
Argent Dawn Shadow enchant
(+12 SR)
Back -
Cloak of Untold Secrets
with +10 SR enchant (+30 SR)
Chest -
Polychromatic Visionwrap
(+20 SR)
Wrists -
Nemesis Bracers
Zero SR but they make up my 3 piece set bonus giving me +23 spell damage which is just as important in holding aggro
Wand -
Serpentine Skuller
(+10 SR)
Hands -
Shadowy Laced Handwraps
(+12 SR)
Belt -
Runed Stygian Belt
(+20 SR)
Pants -
Runed Stygian Leggings
with
Shadow Guard Enchant
(+35 SR)
Boots -
Runed Stygian Boots
(+20 SR)
Rings - I just picked up two +20 resist rings from the AH but if you have access pick up
Ukko's Ring of Darkness
for one ring (+40 SR)
Trinkets - The only amazing shadow resist trinkets come from having 300 engineering, the
Ultra Flash Shadow Reflector
but each trinket has +20SR and they are not unique so you get +40 SR total, possibly allowing you to remove one of your weaker pieces in favor of something with more stamina and spell power
All together that brought me around 249 and adding in the 15 SR from demon armor i was up to 264. Factor in the +60 from priest buffs brings it up to 324 which is over the maximum limit of 315 resistances. That gives me a 75% chance to resist the shadow bolts that come hurdling my way.

The Emperors are all about the initial pull. If the intial pull works and none of the MT or warlock dies in the first teleport then all you have to do is dps. Flask of Titans on warlocks and MT warriors would make your healers life very easy. Also if you are using Warlock tanks, have 1 paladin and 1 priest healing the warlocks so your MT healers don't risk getting Blizzard.

Yes, initial pull is 50% of the fight.
Well, basicly there are 2 main tactics:
Warrior only or warrior+warlock as tank; both work depends on the class setup.
We defeated them with the first tactic, but therefore you need lot's of melee damage. Caster are mainly used for clearing the bugs in this tactic. Flask of Titans is nearly a must because of the unbalancing strike and the high shadowbolts the tank has to eat. ;-)
Hints:
- Vek'lor can only cast Frostrain to a target within the range of 36 yards.
- Max 40 people can be in the room. Repbots and s.o. must be placed outside the room.
- No AE skills because of pulling little yellow bugs who can be really nasty. ;-)

The lvl 80 way of doing things now is, each side respectively dot them up as much as you can. Still tanking them as close to each wall as possible of course. When they teleport, they will aggro on each of the sides they started on due to the amount of dots ticking on them, from melee as well as magical. Of course this causes them to pass each other on their way to each side once more, but at lvl 80 assuming, you do this at lvl 80 for the achievement like I did, the burst damage is amazing that the heals that they do in the end wont save them from a total downing.

I cannot stress how hard this is with PuGs, even if you are level 80s. You need to be very organised on the switches, or else the fight will go on forever.

A few of my friends and I had a bit of fun five or six-manning these guys when WoTLK had been out for a couple of weeks, much more entertaining than all the new five-man content - by far.

Best way to do this is use two pally tanks. They can take aggro on both of the mobs so the switch presents no problems. Then split up your dps with some physical and some caster damage on both sides for a steady kill.

These guys are still tough even at 80. I have gone in AQ40 with several PuGs, and if we can get past the first boss we can clear all the way to the twin emperors with no problems, but we never make it past them. It would take nearly a full raid of 80s to dps through the heals, so you still have to keep them apart. No room for error with that.
I was thinking that the best way to do it with a 70+ PuG would be to have your most skilled tank and dps caster on one side along with a healer, and everyone else on the other, without moving. That way there's no risk of the twins crossing or meeting each other, because with 10+ people (or however many are in your raid, less the three on the other side) you're basically guaranteed to aggro him in time. Few to no DoTs.
Your dps will be half what it usually is because people won't be moving to go after the one they can attack, but that seems like a small price to pay for not letting them heal each other, right? And the people not dpsing the closest boss can kill the bugs; you still need at least a little of that. So, thoughts? Alternate strategies?

The Splintered Hand, of Turalyon-EU, just five-manned the Twin Emps at 80 in a mix of heroic and Conquest gear.
Setup: warrior tank and resto shaman stayed on one side for the entire fight, holy priest plus arcane mage and druid tank stayed on the other. Physical tanks used aggro abilities to grab Vek'nilash on the switch each time as usual; mage and shammy picked up Vek'lor when he turned up on their respective sides. Priest kept the mage healed, shammy healed himself. Physical tanks picked up and despatched the bug adds while Vek'lor was on their side, since they had little else to do.
Be careful; the aggro after the switch can be
very
twitchy. In particular, it appears that a high-threat ability used immediately before the switch can dump threat onto an Emperor a split second afterwards (possibly due to latency) causing him to charge over to the other side of the room immediately. Both physical and magic tanks need to be aware of this and be ready to fire off some threat moves immediately; it helps if physical tanks position themselves along the path that Vek'nilash will take to get to his brother, so he has to come though you (and you're not chasing him around).
Most importantly,
do not use DoTS.
After the switch and subsequent aggro wipe, it would appear that the first action on each Emperor's threat table gains a large chunk of bonus threat. This, I believe, is what creates the impression that you can grab high threat through proximity aggro. But if a DOT ticks straight after the switch (even something relatively minor, like the burn effect from a Mage fireball) the tick will generate huge threat, and the Emperor will typically charge straight back across the room. With our Druid tank using Lacerate, for example, I couldn't pull aggro back even with a 9K+ Shield Slam. He had the same problem with my Deep Wounds.
We downed the Emps with two minutes left on the berserk timer; we didn't allow them to heal even once. It's doable, just takes a good deal of concentration. Good luck.

Downed them in 80-lvl fun raid. Setup was dk tank, retri paladin, holy priest, elem shaman, surv hunter, mm hunter, frost mage.
Melee emperor was tanked by dk, magical by shaman.
Used tactics just like described- staying on platform, doing nothing, while emperors returned to their places after teleport.
The battle took about 3 minutes. Everyone was in equipment 200-232 ilvls.
The battle is really about pull only on 80-lvl. Wrong pull, and you can just wait until healer runs OOM.

Killed them recently. Attempted them with two 15-ppl PUGs which I led. First failed and second was succesful.
In first PUG, we failed horribly because tank went and pulled Vek'nilash. I couldn't establish aggro on Vek'lor. This resulted in both being tanked in the same corner.
We attempted Twins again next day. This day we could position everyone correctly. I was tanking Vek'lor and warrior-tank was tanking Vek'nilash. There was an off-tank waiting besides me and another warlock waiting besides the warrior tanking Vek'nilash. Then we proceeded to down them both. They rarely got to heal eachother.
Anyway, remember that everyone has to be positioned correctly before you start. Remember to tell everyone their targets ( melee on Vek'nilash only and magic on Vek'lor ). You should have two ranged tanks ( warlocks are best for this ) and two melee-tanks. Tanks don't have to switch places, only dps has to.

Just 6 manned this whole raid on Arathor last night. 2 priests, holy and disc, Rougue, 2 pallys(One ret, one holy), and a DK.
The twins were a pain, but we just kept them tanked apart. Since they share health, we just had the paladin(Ret pally acted as second tank) and rouge dps the one that could take physical damage, while we healed the tank(DK) who had the magic one and dpsed the one that could take magic damage. When they switched, the pallys could still help damage the magic weak one, while we healed the tank who had the physical one. It took 3-4 tries, but we got it down.

obviously depends on who you have in your raid but if you ahve the group just pull both intot he middle and out DPS the heal, its not that hard really, only heals 30k a second

Even healers can tank Vek'lor at 80 if your group has only 5 people. On my Holy Priest, I just Mind Blast, Smite a few times, then spam heal myself to hold aggro. Be careful, though, if you're the only one on your side when you teleport, because Vek'nilash may aggro onto you and he can hit fairly hard on cloth; I had to Guardian myself.

Currently trying to 2 man this encounter using 2 warriors
the amount of dps needed to get them down before 15 minute Berserk is 2405 dps TOTAL
we using 0/31/40 spec
using the 0/31/40 spec and being mostly 264 geared we managed to get them all the way to 13 %
when berserk hit , the Veklor Tank got smacked pretty fast since we where not ready with cooldowns and kinda messed up a bit and the best attemt was far from perfect..
going with some dps trinkets and dps gear for next attemts and i thik we got it since incoming damage is MORE the manageble
you simply use Bloodthirst to regen health on all the small bugs on the floor while tanking Veklor
the threat from that roughly 1.1k heal per hit + the 5k initial threat you get after teleport is more than enough to hold aggro ;) T10 4 set bonus and the Corroded skelleton Key helps loads aswell(using this/theese at the end of Veklor tank period)
Enragedregeneration we used for backupheals while tanking Veklor only (using it when tanking veknilash will most likely overaggro the veklor tanks Threat and force a pull aggro so dont do that is a bad idea )
when Veknilash comes to your side use Retaliation and Deathwish whn possible combined with improved revenge (killing the adds at the same time) and the dps needed is possible to achieve ;)
its all about getting it *perfect' and stopping your dps in the EXACT right moment to get as few seconds as possible with 0 dps (getting a hit on Veknilash yust as they teleport can be a disaster since the attack can actualy hit the target after he has teleported to the other side )
GL to ANYONE attemnting this 2/3 man i can promise you 15 minutes of shear fun ;)
i never got this done at lvl 80 due to my companion not having the time or desire to do it anymore
but now at 85 me and my holy pally friend pulled this off pretty easy ;)
stil an awsome 15 min fight , though not as much of a challange as it was at lvl 80
Have Fun !

Last night we 3 maned Twins, your grp was, Prot paladin, Deathknight in tanking gear Frost spec, Resto shaman in Elemtal gear,
I (the paladin) started vek'lor while the Deathknight started on vek'nilash
Dk pulls Nilash (the melee one) all the way to the wall, I Just do exo and range attacks on the caster,
after the Teleport, Lor will be at the wall with the dk tanking him thus making him only being knocked back at the wall and able to melee, with out any problems, While I Take Nilash to a wall , thus making every teleport the caster will only knock us at the wall so making it very easy to melee etc,
The shaman alway's follows Vek'lor he does more dmg since we can avoid most of the attacks on vek'nilash,(melee one) there shouldn't be any healing pressure, 1 heal per teleport is more then enough + with the shaman following vek'lor he'll be able to dmg him aswell,
paladin make sure your not using seal of truth the dot might Aggro him, back to you after the teleport,
I can imagen to paladins 2 maning this easily most of our ability's work on both of them. "Judgment seal dmg and Avenger's Wrath and even Shield of the Righteous works on both of em
We had 5 mins left of Enrage we' were average 264 I hope this helps ya,

This encounter is able to be 2-manned - we duo'd it last night with myself as a feral tank in a mix of gear ranging from 232-264s and blood DK in ICC25 gear. (Shock, not two paladins!)
The fight was fairly simple but with not much room for error. We pulled and kept the emperors on the two platforms, obviously tanking them with our backs to the wall. We remained stationary, and simply immediately picked up the emperor that teleported to our side; this switching was the key to staying alive without heals.
The fight was essentially the same on both sides. During Vek'lor we would just focus on staying alive. (I was able to pop out and heal, and we both needed to use cooldowns). We would then use Vek'nilash to heal up (Leader of the Pack, Death Strike), and DPS them down (since we both had primarily physical damage). So for each of us it alternated between stay alive, self heal/dps, stay alive, etc. Did this for 12 minutes, and epic win.
Some things that we noticed:
- You need to be with your back to the WALL. Both platforms have a sort of alcove or corner, and you want to avoid tanking them there as much as possible. We did this for a while because it minimized knockback, but this seems to lag their teleportation a few seconds, eliminating the short time window to grab threat and allowing one to run to the other. In the end this left too much room for error.
- Kill Vek'linash's mutated scarabs. It just lessens the incoming damage.
- Be quick to grab aggro. This meant Icy Touch/Faerie Fire for Vek'lor and whatever physical attack was up for Vek'linash. We didn't hit the enrage timer so we would have been able to manage some heals, but the issue was that once one they started running to the other it was almost impossible to separate them again.
Fun stuff!

I went there with two guild mates last night and remembered something from a long, long time ago. Make sure you kill the guard NPCs outside the Twin Emperors' room or they come on in and make a gigantic mess all over the floor.
But personally, I've always found that as long as they are tanked apart, it's easier - personally. Try and have at least one healer if you're not so confident with what you're doing - or use a spec that will help you to heal yourself like Warlocks: they can
Life Tap
for mana then to heal themselves have
Drain Life
,
Death Coil
and the DoT spell,
Haunt
. That's for Affliction though, I don't use and know Demonology enough to know much about it, I'm more an Affli/Destro person.

Duo'd the Twin Emperors last night as a rogue and feral druid. Omen threatmeter was a huge help in tracking threat on Vek'lor.
On the pull I (the rogue) engaged Vek'nilash and tanked him on his platform. I kept recuperate rolling both to actually heal up from Unbalancing Strike/melee hits and so that when the teleport happened I'd get some healing aggro on Vek'lor in the first second or two. The feral kept aggro on Vek'lor whenever they were on the same platform by chain casting Faerie Fire.
On the teleport, the druid would hold off until a few ticks of recuperate went off and then auto-attack Vek'nilash. I kept 1-2 combo point recuperates going from the scarabs and scorpions around my platform to maintain aggro on Vek'lor. If I noticed the druid catching up to me on Vek'lor's aggro table (from leader of the pack procs) he would stop auto-attacking; his added damage to Vek'nilash wasn't necessary, he just did it because he was bored standing there and to speed things up a little. The druid-Vek'lor rogue-Vek'nilash phase is when the real damage is done to the twins; the druid-Vek'nilash rogue-Vek'lor phase is all about maintaining aggro and positioning.
At one point the druid was hit by an Unbalancing Strike knockback and flew off his platform. He took some not-insignificant fall damage that he had to heal up, during the much tighter recuperate tanking Vek'lor phase, which was the closest I came to losing aggro on Vek'lor. So try to keep your back to the wall. Not right up against it though; I noticed a couple of times when I was fighting Vek'nilash right against the wall and a teleport happened, Vek'lor didn't appear for a few seconds until after I moved away from the wall. If recuperate wasn't running and the druid got a Leader of the Pack proc in that time, I would likely have lost aggro and been unable to get it back. So I'd recommend standing with your back to the wall, but 5-10 yards away from it.
It took us ~8 minutes to down them, nowhere near the 15 minute enrage timer. Damage is no problem, it's just a matter of proper positioning and control of self-healing aggro to keep them separated.
Summary
Rogue keeps recuperate going at all times; healing through Vek'nilash and keeping aggro on Vek'lor. Quickening and Imp. Recuperate are recommended (a dedicated soloing/duoing spec most likely has these talents anyhow)
Chain cast Faerie Fire on Vek'lor when he's on the druid side
Druid can autoattack Vek'nilash when he's on his side; using abilities is not recommended as the extra Leader of the Pack procs become more likely to pull aggro from the rogue recuperate-tanking Vek'lor
Druid should stop attacking completely if he gets close to the rogue on Vek'lor's threat table
Keep your back to the wall as much as possible but not right up against it, especially when fighting Vek'nilash
As usual,
NO DOTS
during this fight. The damage they bring is not necessary and they just make things riskier if timed poorly
I hope to see more raid solo/duo kills that aren't just paladins and dk's! Good luck!

Was able to solo today as elemental shaman Ilvl 359 4pt11, after about 3 hours of attempts.
Was able to solo by speccing points into resto Totemic Focus to allow for 3+mins on earth / fire elemental and laying them on opposing platform. starting off on non magic immune boss i was able to burn with flask + lust + pot + EM them down to roughly 30%, when melee swapped onto me fire elemental was able to pick up threat and hold magic boss on other side while i swapped to 2hnder with WF for kicks :P, 30-40 seconds later the caster boss ported back, i repotted , prepotted first time popped EM again and burned them down, all in all, took about 3-3.5 hours of trying, mostly waiting on Earth elemental cooldown. I'm willing to go on a limb and say that elemental shamans + warlocks are probably the only class that will ever be able to solo these 2.
my apologies in advance for bad grammar/english... i have been bashing my head on desk like this was heroic nefarian for last 4 hours :P.

The solo Emperors attempt by Jider is being viewed as
illegitimate
by some persons, for several reasons:
As of one week after making the claim, there is still no clear explanation from Jider as to what kind of "clever timing" allowed the single pull. The elusiveness is suspicious.
The attempt took place on a PTR. This is a revealing strike against the legitimacy of this video.
It is generally accepted that both of these bosses are supposed to be pulled during this encounter. Pulling only one trivializes the encounter to the point where soloing it is unimpressive. (Okay, maybe that's a cheap shot.)
Jider has other, more impressive feats that are worthy of notice. I'm not picking on him because I have a vendetta against him. But the Emporer pull is fishy. It would be nice if Jider revealed his tricks of the trade so there wouldn't be so much aggression against him over this video.
If he's worried that represents an exploit which would have his account kicked, then he shouldn't have publicly made this claim in the first place. Or at least, keep the Emporer video cloaked in shadows until Blizz fixes the exploit.

I found the comments on here very contradictory when trying to 2 man this encounter, so I thought I'd do my best to clear it up.
I 2-manned twin emps as an 85 warrior with an 85 warlock friend. The biggest issue for us was making sure to put DoTs up at all times - a few comments on here said no DoTs, and while this may be the case for classes with hybrid damage, because both of us could only damage one boss we had no issues with damaging the other bosses. We would make sure a DoT was up at all times (Rend and Corruption) and hit escape when the teleport happened, while tanking on their respective spawn platform.
When they teleport, the DoTs would grab aggro and they will run past each other back to you. Yes, they will heal, but we had no trouble out dpsing their heals and neither of us has spectacular gear.
Good luck.

Did this tonight with the following group: Ret Pally, Shadow Priest, Fury Warrior (myself), whom all were level 85.
We had a fair bit of trouble getting these guys down as one of the bosses is immune to magic attacks (Vek'nilash) and one is immune to physical attacks (Vek'lor). However this is how we pulled this fight off.
The Priest and the Warrior made their way over to Vek'lor while the Paladin ran over to Vek'nilash. Priest and Paladin dps accordingly while the warrior targets Vek'nilash. As soon as they teleport the warrior attacks V'n and the Paladin attacks V'l. Same process applies except the priest targets V'l awaiting the teleport.
We had a few mishaps with grabbing aggro which caused us to have to group together (which made them heal around 600k health) and wait for the teleport before quickly separating them again although we did eventually down these bosses.

Done tonight as an Elemental Shaman and two Hunters, MM and Survival respectively. 3 tries, and murdered.
I was too excited to have downed them to have put in a proper explanation.
Started with me and the MM hunter on Vek'lor. I picked him up and stuck my back to a wall and just started to unload. The Survival Hunter had out the Challenge Crab from firelands and picked up Vek'nilash. The crab tanked and just spammed mend pet over and over again.
When the teleport happened the MM hunter sent her pet in on Vek'nilash and I just used my staff to smack him around a few times until the next switch. Wash, rinse, repeat.

For T2.5 Gearhunters, these guys are not possible to solo unless you have a pet that can live (tank) one while you kill the other. I have not tried this with a hunter or lock, but any other class will not have the means to keep them separated, so you're dealing with two 30k heals every ~1s. Not possible to produce 60kdps.
Very easy to 2 man, even if you don't every swap positions after the teleport. Just let them walk through the center, heal a bit and dps them down. Pretty much any combo works.

Okay, soloed this as a TG fury warrior (ilevel 381), using my standard pve gear/spec (which does include blood craze and bloodthirst glyph). Basically, you just do this by putting a *very* strong nuke into whichever boss you can damage and still having some self healing to keep yourself alive. This is unlikely to work if you have mixed damage types (both physical and magical). Couple of important notes:
-To avoid the knockback, stand right in the corners between the stairs and the raised areas. I tried the corners at the very back, but they seem to somehow knock you back out of them if you use those.
-You will want to get some kind of damage into BOTH emperors and not just one. If you don't, you will only be able to loot one of them (confirmed from my own kill).
In contrast to the above poster, and I'm only guessing, but I doubt a death knight would be able to solo this because blood lacks the basic DPS requirement and frost/unholy wouldn't be able to focus that much physical damage into Vek'nilash or magical damage into Vek'lor.

Here's a quick and easy to understand guide to 2 manning these bosses:
For this fight you'll need one player that can do a physical DoT, and one player who can do a magic-based DoT. Both players should start the fight on opposite sides of the room, the magic player on the left side (on the boss that's immune to physical damage) and the physical player on the right (on the boss that's immune to magical damage). You can tell the bosses apart because the one that takes magical damage has a staff, and the other a sword. Don't worry if the magic DoT player primarily does physical damage because the two bosses share a health pool, so the physical player can do all the dpsing.
When you begin, immediately throw your dots up, and make sure they stay up the whole fight. Start your dps as usual. Be sure to keep your back against the wall due to
奥术爆裂
. Every thirty seconds the two bosses will switch places using
双子传送
and their threat tables will reset. Both players should
remain where they are
, the DoTs will cause each player to regain threat on their respective boss causing it to run back to the player. When the bosses cross paths they will heal a little with
治疗兄弟
, but not enough to make the fight unbeatable.
If you're a class that has a magic based DoT but does physical damage (like a death knight) be sure not to touch your partner's boss when it teleports because you might pull the boss by doing more threat than your partner's DoTs. (The same applies to pets like the warlock's Felguard, put em away for this fight.) If this happens, or for some other reason one player acquires agro on both bosses, don't panic. Have the other player run over and pull their boss off you, kiting it back to its original side. When they switch again, stop moving and follow the previous instructions until the bosses have run all the way back to the player they're supposed to be on.

Yeah. Big suck as a druid.
I gave it a go (85 ilvl359 tank). They dont hit particularly hard. Even after I decided to give up... it took them a long time to kill me without being in any form.
Immune to skull bash.
Couldn't separate them.
Vek'Lor seemed to be immune to any hits when they were together.
Vek'nilash was being healed about every 10 seconds for 30000.
Maybe using Root but with all the knockbacks you would have to set it up pretty good.
Be interesting to see if any druids can kick the twins ass!

Duo killed these tonight with 2 balance druids.
At first we had a lot of problems with this boss. We tried some of the tactics suggested here - keeping the distance, with dots, no dots, etc - but ended up wiping every time.
So we decided to just ignore the adds and the distance thing, and go full nuke. Surprisingly they went down with no problems. We had about 37.8k total dps, and had to put lifebloom on only once.
So a tip for anyone having problems killing these two:
ignore everything and just burst them to death.
The dps at lvl 85 can easily overdps the 30k healing every 10s. It might be easier for classes that can heal themselves and for mail/plate users who take less melee dmg, but it should certainly be doable with any 2 dps classes with this tactic.

They don't do 30k heal every 10 seconds, it's every 2 seconds (just got done watching the green flashes of light and the health bars go up ... "one one thousand, two one thousand ... *poof*), so your dps has to be 15k just to break even with their self-heals (meaning you're getting nowhere fast). On top of that 15k dps that merely counteracts their self heals, you have to deplete their health pool faster than they deplete yours. Figure that rate out and you'll have the bare minimum dps you'd have to pull off to down one before he downs you. Solo? I find that very hard to believe even for a full-best-in-slot lvl85 (other than the aforementioned "glitch"). Vids or it didn't happen.

A video guide I made on how to solo the Twin Emperors as a 85 Retri Paladin (No exploits).
Tbh it's more to prove that it's possible then a guide. All you need is high enough dps to out dmg the healing that they do while being able to stay alive.
Hope it helps!

How to: Solo Temple of Ahn'Qiraj (AQ40) 4.3 version:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_5EpBdJHA4&hd=1
I show you how to solo all of them, but I don't kill Viscidus & C'thun myself.
It also explains the tactics for when you want to do it with a couple of friends.
Also includes information about mounts & reputation.
It took me around 31 min and I earned around 613g.
I hope it will help :)

Solo'd easily as a blood DK in 382 ilvl dps gear.
Just pull them both into a corner so when they teleport they do not move out of melee range and just unload on the physical one. I was able to do about 10-15% every DRW cooldown, and if I was sitting on an unholy or death rune I'd throw up a necrotic strike for good measure.
Kill took roughly 11 minutes.

BY Far the Most irritating Boss's In Game! Out Of any boss Even The Lich king can't Beat these 2 strategy wise! to some it maybe a piece of cake, but to us we just could not get them down. it was only when i got on my main horde that we actually beat them. an it was mostly 85s lol.
For 85s its best just to hammer at them, i noticed that 1 was on the platform an 1 was near center off room when we beat them so they don't need to be on there platforms to kill them as some may say, o at lest keep 1 of them near center an 1 on a platform if its too stressful to get them both to move. i was so happy to actually see them dead lol.

This may be too soon to say, but this isn't possible to solo as a shadow priest. Even at 399 ilvl and Dragonwrath you can't keep up with the healing. Too many knockbacks and for some reason Pain and Suffering doesn't work so your Mind Flay won't refresh SW:P.

Just solo'ed as Ret Paladin equiped ilvl of 395. This is quite a challenge, but as a previous poster stated, back them into a corner to eliminate the teleport problem. However, there are time where you will still get punted out of the corner, this is fine, just make sure to position yourself with back to the corner so you get knocked back. Every second counts. Use your cooldowns properly, and eventually they will go down. Just keep steady DPS.
Don't be discouraged! This will take a bit of time. I killed it in 12 minutes. For about the first 3 or 4 minutes, he stayed above 80%. It's just hoping he doesn't knock you out of the corner.
If you can't self heal, don't bother trying to solo this.
If you're a paladin as I am, just use Word of Glory to keep yourself above 30-40% life. They won't kill you with sacred shield talent, and lay on hands can be used twice since the fight will go beyond 10 minutes.
Good luck!

Posting to confirm that Twin Emperors are soloable by a level 85 Ret Paladin, ilvl 392.
It was a very long fight compared to others in AQ40 - it took about 12 minutes because of the healing done by the bosses and the requirement of healing myself. It could probably be done a little faster, as my strategy somewhat evolved throughout the encounter. No flasks or other consumable buff items were used.
Balancing damage output, self-healing, and reducing their heals is key to soloing this. My basic strategy was to damage Emperor Vek’nilash, constantly moving away from Vek’lor to reduce the number of heals on them as much as possible. Continuous movement was also required to move towards fresh groups of scarabs (which respawn - very important for healing). Divine Storm was used nearly every time it was up aside from when Avenging Wrath and Zealotry were active.
Constant use of Divine Storm and 3HP Word of Glory (whenever available) was necessary to keep my health up; quite a bit of damage is taken so every attempt to heal is necessary. I had Devotion Aura active, but looking at the statistics after the fight, Resistance Aura would have been a better choice because Vek’lor did ~62% of the damage. Approximately 92% of that was from his Shadow Bolts, so any Shadow Resist will be helpful.
Nearly all the net damage done to Vek’nilash was done during cooldowns (Avenging Wrath and Zealotry). Time in between cooldowns was mostly spent raising hit points back up and maneuvering. Boss health did not drop much (if at all) during this time. Therefore, time your cooldowns to use them AFTER their teleport so that no DPS time is wasted.
Fight stats are noted below for clarity:
Recount – Damage Done for Emperor Vek’lor 09:44:53-09:56:52
Damage Done: 18,936,660 (~26.2K/sec)
Healing Done: 1,498,827 (~2.1K/sec)
Heal Name Count %
Divine Storm x49 (48.9%)
Word of Glory x22 (41.9%)
Lay on Hands x01 (8.3%)
First Aid x03 (0.9%)
Damage Taken: 1,529,516
Player/Mob Name %
Vek’lor 61.6%
Vek’nilash 32.4%
Qiraji Scorpion 3.9%
Qiraji Scarab 2.0%

It's possible to solo these guys a Rogue now as well, although depending on your gear you may want to seriously buff up and/or reforge up to the expertise parry cap.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aRb0oD2-8is
Don't bother using Blade Flurry, except for any additional bug adds, or Killing Spree, as it will only teleport you to the back of the Twins, which means you'll be kicked away and thus effectively lose damage.
Also don't bother about poisons, the melee twin is immune, and the caster twin isn't even able to be hit by your melee swings to apply the poisons.
You also may want to use Feint to ease up on the healing required during the
暴风雪
.
Besides that, it's a simple matter of outdamaging their heal, and outhealing their damage, as for every class soloing this encounter.
I'm currently trying to determine if you're somehow able to make yourself eligible for Vek'lor's loot. You normally aren't, as you don't do any damage to him (and he drops the Rogue token). A single
简易投掷炸弹 II
cast at the beginning wasn't enough, although it did damage to him. Maybe
献祭之油
will work, or I need to damage him before their last heal (which could turn out to be quite tricky).

394 Hunter and I can't solo this. Even when I boxed my 388 Resto druid. Sucks. This place kinda sucks with the mechanics. Know the mechanics & mostly I finish fights in 3-4 minutes - doing 25-30K. But I die first, learning who to attack etc.
Something more annoying than the Chess match in Karazhan.

I triple box. Meaning I have just me at the keyboard, but 3 accounts running. I recently came back to wow and wanted to farm the one red mount and some enchants I don't yet have, so brought my toons to AQ40. Triple boxing is a lot of fun, but this fight was annoying, especially after getting lost in the other comments on dots. I blame lack of sleep, but here's a better explanation (I hope).
With DOTs:
IF, you are two manning this and both can toss up dots, then dots is the best and fastest method. That way once they teleport, you have aggro and they run back to you.
Without DOTs:
IF, you only have one dotter, or none, then the best way is to go to each side of the room (where they are), engage, then after they port, grab aggro despite not being able to damage. Sure you may not be able to do anything for 30 seconds, but that's fine.
If you have one tossing up dots, then aggro will ruin this fight and they'll join up and heal. SO, if you have a dotter on both ends, that's the best way. Not two dotters, then NO dots.

If u wanne go aq temple and kill the prolly hardes't boss there u wont have a chance whith loot from Magmadar:\
Yes, its a great difference between +550 spell dmg and 200+spell dmg for a warlock, and between 7k hp buffed 6k mana and 5k hp buffed and 4.5k mana!

Come on folks, anyone who HAS taken Twin Emps has gotten far enough to know that while yes, gear helps and makes things easier, it's about smart players. My gear is not the greatest, especially my heal gear, but the times I've been to Twin Emps I've only died on a wipe, which for you casters that have bene there know means I had a healthy mana pool at all times. To top it off, the tank I was assigned to didn't die until a wipe started, usually from the other side of the fight or from bad luck bugs exploding at the wrong time >.<

in this post theres all but a tip for these buggers that in many cases block guild porgress in endgame.
i write down few things that maybe anyoe knows.
u have to keep them separated, one to a side of the room, the other on the other side, or they will heal
veknilash is a powerful melee boss, he will use Imbalancig Strike and can eat easily even the best tanked gear, he is Immune to all magic spells and effects
Veklor is the caster brother, he will arcane explosion around and spam shadowbolts that hurts, some use a warlock as tank due to resistanceces (from demonology build + felhunter) but a warrior is better in my opinion. hes immune to physical damage
they will switch position every N secs (cant remember) , resetting all the aggro, a tip is let only the warrior stays near to him when h/they teleported (theres some sort of aggro bonus on the first target)
all the bugs over the room will repedetly get enlarged and a decide group must gank them fast.
hope this helps :)
edit: not sure about this, they hold the same health bar?

ehhh no real good drops that will really make a big difference, i mean unless you are usin twink gear on a lvl 60 then the only even partially good thing for a rogue who is usin shadowcraft bracers would be the bracers here, otherwise screw it all, i am missin like 2 pieces of bloodfang so nothin else would make a big difference.

From what I heard (from a good friend of mine who is one of those lucky few that can raid Ahn'Qiraj in europe as of now), these two are the best-designed fight blizzard came up with. Ever. Including all of Blackwing Lair and the Ahn'Qiraj sceptre questline bosses (yay 4 maws)
All I can say is that one of the brothers is a high power magic user and the other the nightmare of every squishie cloth-wearer (one-hits them ^^)...
plus many more things this meanie wont tell me about :'(

The twin emps was a very exciting fight upon the release of AQ. As long as everyone was on their toes (especially melee dps to run out in time) and makes sure that the emps always agro the tanks, this fight wasn't to hard.
