Since some of the new Heroic Deadmines loot reference Defias questlines, this is a possible reference to the old quest Items of Some Consequence. It was part of the questline that started from a letter that dropped from VanCleef, continued through Stockades, and ended with you unmasking and killing a Stormwind noble named Lescovar who was working with the Defias.
