How to properly use the Argent Crusader's Banner:

1. Play an Alliance Paladin.
2. Acquire and equip the Argent Crusader's Tabard.
3. Locate an undead player.
4. ?
5. Impale the undead player's corpse with the Argent Crusader's Banner.

It's too bad there's no Knights of the Ebon Blade version. I for one would love to be able to plant a giant sword in the corpses of my enemies.

Edit: I believe it is bugged, as the tooltip states that it summons an undercity banner, as an Alliance player.

As of 4.0.6 this does correctly summon an Argent Crusader's Banner for 3 minutes. Something fun to spend a few Seals on when you've already got your Heirloom set.
