Fate Rune of Baneful Intent

Increases all damage dealt by 5%.

Fate Rune of Fleet Feet

Movement speed increased by 15%. (Does not affect mounted speed.)

Fate Rune of Nigh Invincibility

Decreases all damage taken by 5%.

Fate Rune of Primal Energy

Regain 1% of your total mana any time that you deal a critical with a spell.

Fate Rune of Unsurpassed Vigor

Heal 2% of your total health any time that you deal a critical hit with a melee or ranged weapon.

All of the Fate Runes effects stack.
All of the Fate Runes have a 30 minute duration.
Fate runes are attained via Vrykul Bones. These drop off any Vrykul mob and have a 100% drop rate.

Im sure this is modified after all DR has taken place rendering it much less than 5% of the RAW hit, nevertheless this is amazing for tanks.

If you are a druid and use the rune and go into flight form you will have a flame on your beak. Very nice.

Excellent for Icecrown dailies, especially in combination with others since they stack. Do note that once you leave Icecrown, all effects are removed regardless of time left on them.

As an interesting sidenote, these (and presumably the other runes as well, as I've only tested this one) also work whilst you are in a vehicle, which make gives you that extra edge to get all your Argent Tournament dailies done.

Will this work in raids?

I assume it will since the Zul'Drak bufs appear to be effective in Gundrak.

I stepped into a normal 5man ToC and it doesn't work in there. Told me i need to be in icecrown. As of Aug, 15 2009
GM reply: That is because you are inside of an instance server that does not count as Icecrown. I do apologize about that, it's simply a matter of zoning.

Well, one small consolation about these runes is that, like a previous comment indicates, you should be swimming in stacks of Vrykul bones from leveling and doing dailies in IC. From all the dailies around Ymirheim, I had over 4 stacks of 250 bones each. The consolation is that you get 13 rep with KotEB with each turn in. Turning them all in at 15 a piece got me from just into Friendly with Ebon Blade to just into Honored. There're runes in dem dere bones!

Popping this rune before heading out for all the IC dailies speeds them up a bit.
