It should be noted that this sigil also affects Heart Strike, but the tooltip is not updated yet. - As Heart Strike is meant to be a total, no brainer upgrade to Blood Strike, any item or ability that affects Blood affects Heart.

as it stands atm, when you hit 'x' twice, like you would to pull out a bow/gun/crossbow on a class that doesn't use relics it shows up as a blue and white checkered cube. no clue when they're going to fix that

It's not hard to speculate what this sigil will do, since it comes from a quest that gets you your mount. Knowing the usual trend it will probably provide a 10% mount speed bonus.

With the new changes coming to DK's in the next patch.

Blood Strike: The bonus damage this ability receives from diseases on the target has been increased to 25% per disease.

And in the Unholy tree.

Desolation: New talent. This talent is in the position formerly occupied by Desecration. It causes Blood Strikes to increase all damage the death knight deals by 1/2/3/4/5% for 12 seconds.

As well as them nerfing the damage of Scourge Strike

Scourge Strike: Weapon damage bonus reduced to 40%, down from 45%. Damage increased by 10% per disease on the target, down from 11%.

This Sigil may still be the one of choice for Unholy DK's both for DPS and for Tanking as opposed to Sigil of Arthritic Binding until they hit 80 and even a little into 80 until a badge sigil can be bought.

Putted in a strenght gem into that socket, and it vanished after i relogged :S

It really made me quesiton Blizzard's thinking when they labelled this sigil with "Classes: Paladin, Death Knight".

Considering its a phased Death Knight only quest, What paladin is ever going to be using this sigil?
