I wrote a guide for all of these Achievements (The Fires of Azeroth and Desecration of the Alliance).

I recommend printing it and using the Cartographer in-game addon.

This quest-turn-in macro should help players in opposing faction cities.

It seems you can't do the bonfire quests again if you have done them already in a previous year.

Flame Warden and Extinguishing Kalimdor for Alliance

(Since wowhead was down most of the day, I had to use Thrott,,, chills)
Anywho, while there, I found this and since it's not posted here I thought I would share.

There is guide for Alliance how to complete Extinguishing Kalimdor and Flame Warden of Kalimdor at once.

1. Start in Exodar.
2. Azuremyst Isle - Azure Watch 44,52
3. Go to Bloodmyst Isle and honor the flame in Blood Watch 55,67.
4. Take boat from Azuremyst Isle (22,54) to Darkshore and honor the flame in Auberdine (37,45).
5. Take FP to Ruk'theran Village, run to Dolanaar through Darnassus, and honor the flame (54,60).
6. Take FP to Winterspring, honor the flame (62,35), and desecrate Horde fire (59,35).
7. Take FP to Ashenvale, Astanaar and honor the flame (37,54).
8. Run to Splintertree Post and desecrate Horde fire (69,69).
9. Run to Orgrimmar (use back entrance) and steal flame (40,35).
I guess horde will kill you, but don't run to your corpse, it's waste of time. Ressurect at Spirit Healer.
10. Desecrate fire in Razor Hill in Durotar (52,47).
11. Run to The Barrens and desecrate Horde fire in Crossroads (51,26).
12. Run to Stonetalon Mountains and desecrate Horde fire (50,60).
13. Run to Desolace, honor the flame in Nijel's Point (66,17) and desecrate Horde fire (26,77).
14. Go to Ferales and take boat (43,43) to Feathermoon Stronghold, honor the flame (28,44).
15. Take FP to Thalanaar, run to Camp Mojache and desecrate flame (72,47).
16. Go to Thousand Needles and desecrate Horde fire in Freewind Post (42,53).
17. Run to Tanaris, desecrate fire (49,28) and honor the flame (52,28) in Gadgetzan.
If you are Bloodsail Admiral just kill these 2 guards next to Flight Master.
18. Take FP to Silithus, Cenarion Hold, desecrate Horde fire (46,43), and honor the flame (57,35).
19. Take FP to Dustwallow Marsh, honor the flame in Theramore (62,40), run to Brackenwall Village and desecrate Horde Flame (33,31).
20. Run to Mulgore through The Barrens and desecrate Horde fire in Bloodhoof Village (53,60).
21. Run to Thunder Bluff and steal Horde flame (20,26 THUNDER BLUFF).

When will people learn that this is for the HORDE! If you want to write guides, please go to the Alliance quest. This quest is for Horde.

You can still go back and re-complete the Honoring/Desecration quests this year (2010) if you've already completed them previously.

At level 80, every quest gives 13g23s and 10 Burning Blossoms.

Total money awarded for this achievement: 11 * 13g23s = 145g53s.

Completing each quest gives an average of 6% of a level.
So completing this achievement gives 66% of a level.

Due to the changes in Cataclysm some bonfires have moved making that the location posts above are no longer 100% valid as they used to be.

Darkshore
The bonfire has been moved to Lor'danel (as Auberdine has been destroyed by Deathwing)

Ashenvale
The bonfire has been moved to Forest Song (as Astranaar is under attack by the Horde)
(As the Horde is constantly under attack by the Alliance in Splintertree post, the Horde fire was moved to Silverwind Refuge, which is now a Horde camp)

Southern Barrens
This area is completely new, but some fires have been put in here
Horde fire - Descolation Hold
Alliance fire - Fort Triumph

Feralas
Alliance fire has been moved to Feathermoon Stronghold (so it's no longer on the island)
(The Horde fire hasn't been moved)

That should cover them all for Kalimdor

Just wanted to add there are flames in Un'goro at Marshal's Stand. Both horde and alliance, so don't pass up the extra blossoms!

I don't know if this has been stated before, but for Horde players who have at least 150% flight speed that are wanting to venture into Teldrassil, the easiest way is to fly to Lor'danel in Darkshore. From there you'll need to fly straight ahead toward Teldrassil. Yes, you'll be flying over the ocean. Don't become alarmed when you see the Fatigue bar because you'll reach the Great Tree before the bar expires. You can then fly straight up the trunk of the tree instead of taking the portal.

I hope this helps and saves many from a long and tiring corpse run!

For your low-level toons without flying, it is possible to get to Teldrassil (and then by boat to Azuremyst Island the old way). You'll need an Elixir of Water Walking. Travel west of Lor'Danel in Darkshore. Swim northwest just to the point where fatigue sets in. Back up to shallow water, pop the elixir, mount, and then walk to Rut'theran Village. My 42nd level rogue covered the distance with about 30%-40% fatigue remaining.

I suspect that if you die from fatigue, you still will have made it to Teldrassil waters and be able to rez there.

It should be noted that there's an Alliance bonfire at Mirkfallon Post in Stonetalon . It's not necessary for the achievement, but it's more blossoms and experience/gold and it's not very far from the Horde fire so might as well tag it while you're there. Also one next to Marshal's Stand in Un'goro.
