All “pre-made” groups may now queue for Battlegrounds. Grouped players will primarily face opponents who queued in groups of similar sizes.
- Developers’ note: With this change, the matchmaker will now match raid groups of 6 or more players against at least one group of 6 or more players. If the total number of players in your raid is smaller than the maximum size of the Battleground, the matchmaker will automatically fill your side with other groups or individuals. If there are no large pre-mades in the queue, party groups of 5 or fewer players will be placed against other parties of 5 or fewer players. Queuing alone or in small parties will not guarantee an opposing team with no large pre-mades.

[With realm restarts] Spell Haste now lowers the global cooldown (GCD) to a minimum of 1.0 second (was 0.75 seconds).
- Developers’ note: This hotfix is intended to bring the behavior of the GCD in line with version 2.4.0 of Burning Crusade, which the gameplay conditions of Burning Crusade Classic 2.5.2 are based on. Due to a bug in the original 2.4.0 code, players with high Spell Haste in original Burning Crusade were sometimes able to cast certain spells less than second apart, and they would also sometimes be delayed to over a second, based on how their actions were lining up with the server’s tick rate. We’ve decided that the fairest and most accurate thing we could do is to replicate the intent of the original game and enforce that Spell Haste cannot reduce the GCD below 1.0 second.

- [With weekly maintenance in each region] The formula for Arena Points has been adjusted to increase Arena Points awarded each week. This will equate to approximately 100 additional points per week for most 5v5 teams, about 88 additional points for most 3v3 teams, and about 76 more points for 2v2 teams. Teams near 1500 rating will get more, and the curve still tapers to the same maximum as before.
  - Developers’ notes: In original Burning Crusade in 2007, players could expect to receive 450-500 Arena Points per week by playing at least 10 matches and winning more than 50% of the time. At that time, a team who lost most of their games could expect to get about 300 points per week. Starting from a team rating of 0 has created a points-per-win curve that has been significantly below that, so we’re raising the point floor to compensate for the additional time needed to raise your rating. With this change, all 5v5 teams over 100 rating should get at least 300 points per week.

  - Developers’ note: Magtheridon’s Blast Nova was set up in original Burning Crusade in a way that it was possible for players to see a raid warning for an attack that would never come, or for Mag to use an ability without warning. These misbehaviors were recreated in Burning Crusade Classic as we matched the boss configuration with our pre-nerf reference. With the fixes above, we’ve made it so that Blast Nova is used consistently after a raid warning, and no longer fails to be put on cooldown if interrupted during its cast.
Karazhan
- Fixed an issue where Shade of Aran’s Dragon Breath was dealing more damage than intended.
Fixed an issue where the title “Champion of the Naaru” would be repeatedly granted to players who had earned it.

- Eye of the Storm can no longer be chosen for the daily Call to Arms battleground quest during the pre-expansion update.
- Fixed an issue where losing a base in Arathi Basin wouldn’t teleport Horde characters that were waiting to respawn at that base.
Quests
- Quest items that are placed in the Keyring when looted will now mark quest objectives as complete.
- A Sunhawk Spy for the quest “Blood Watch” is so good at hiding, that he’s buried himself beneath the ground. We brought him back into the sun where he belongs.
- Fixed an issue where “The Ravaged Caravan” could not be turned in.
User Interface
- The Auto Attack/Auto Shot combat option has returned to Interface Options.
- Fixed an issue where cross-realm party invitations were incorrectly enabled.
- Fixed an issue where raid members were not appearing as the correct color on the minimap.
World
- The trees outside of Stormwind City are once again visible from inside the city.

  - Heigan the Unclean will no longer play dirty and teleport the tank.

  - Fixed an issue where C’Thun’s Digestive Acid was doing more damage than intended.
Professions
- Leatherworking trainers have skilled up and are once again masterful enough to train Artisan Leatherworking to players.
Quests
- [EU realms only] Fixed an issue where the Burning Crusade Collector’s Edition quest “A Special Thanks” was not appearing for EU players.
- Fixed an issue where the “Marauders of Darrowshire” quest items weren’t properly created when using the Mystic Crystal when there is 1 Fetid Skull in the player’s inventory.

Classes
- Character Boosted Warlocks will now have pets that gain their Grimoire spells.
- Druids that have been boosted with a Character Boost now learn Hurricane Rank 2. Those that do not have it can learn it by entering Orgrimmar, Stormwind, or Thunder Bluff.
Dungeons and Raids
- Naxxramas
  - Fixed an issue where Sapphiron’s Frost Aura dealt double damage.
Items and Rewards
- Supercharged Chronoboon Displacer is no longer removed upon entering an arena.
- The Reawakened Phase-Hunter mount now has the correct level requirement of 30.
Player versus Player
- [NA realms only] The Alterac Valley Warmasters have returned to their stations.
- Fixed an issue that caused Battlegrounds to award more Bonus Honor than intended.
Professions
- Enchant Chest: Greater Stats once again increases stats as expected.
Quests
- Fixed an issue where the “Crown of the Earth” quest could not be completed.
