This is just unfair, there is no way to solo this guy unless you can dispell this/stun him as long as possible so this buff fades.
I lost every death to him in my Torghast run, wich went really damn well.

The only way I could out-dps this was to use top endgame dps pots and drums and every available buff on the planet. Luckily I'm an engineer and was able to send myself consumables through MOLL-E. It sucked majorly that there was no way to switch gear or talents on that floor.

Way overtuned Blizzard. This plus the instant 100% increased damage ability turn Empowered Coldheart Ascendant into a pure nightmare. I lost all lives to it and finally got through to the final floor with 0 left.

FYI this buff stacks up to 50 then resets to 1 and stacks up to 50 again.

I have found a way to reset the Unnatural Power for those outputting lower DPS.

Damage the NPC as ususal.
At 5 stacks stun the NPC with a one minute stun like Paralysis or Freezing Trap
Run away from NPC until it loses agro, wait for the Unnatural Power to finish then start DPS again before stun runs out to avoid evade.

You can do this as many times as you want during the fight. Ensure agro is off by stack 9 Unnatural Power or it will break the stun.

Tip - If you can remove agro instantly with either Feign Death or Shadowmeld you can try to stun at stack 8 or 9 and instantly remove agro, just wait for Unnatural Power to be off before making yourself visible again.

yeah, ran across a Empowered Lumbering Creation as a floor boss, floor 17, he has 1.2 million hp. He gets this buff, I can't kill him before the stacks get so high he one shots me

Also, I've watched the buff and it never ticks away...it will get close and then the boss gets another stack. Im not sure how to deal with it

Found that combination with the one who reduces damages and reset every few seconds or so, On Synod.

So between two mountains of salt, I made a few tests so the hour i spent in the LAYER 2 of Upper Reaches is not completely lost.
It cannot be removed by abilities like soothe either. And getting him root does not prevent the effect ot stack. As someone mentionned earlier, stun and reset might help, I first thought after a few observations that the cooldown resets only on hit, but actually either a close proximity or a natural cooldown gives it a stack.

EDIT: Apparently there is a way to get through that as a guardian but it would require a bit more tries to be sure of the most effcient way to apply that method.
Basically, you can apply cyclone at mid-cooldown, and reapply it again and again until the buff wears out. Unfortunately for me, I learnt of that way too late, and he would reapply the stack right before the last cyclone cast ends. Or it would freeze reapply the buff then cylone, which is not that surprising considering that the game works as a pile of priority casts. (That's why sometimes a mob you have just stunned can hit you)

RE-EDIT: so did it on layer 3, with a full buff, killing everything i could. Apparently I could not reapply cyclone anyway, it would not refresh at all. I don't know if it is a layer thing. But ye if you wanna go through that with a low ilvl, maybe just plunder like crazy and cross all the fingers! Even with that the end was quite rocky.

Well, just wasted 90 minutes of my life in my Veng DH. I can't fear him enough time for this buff to vanish. I can't interrupt him enough times so he keeps casting that "health drain" ability, until his attacks are consuming 30% of my health bar and his life is at 50% at the most.
