first time the storytelling in WoW just hit me hard and IDK why. it's kind of cheesy and predictable but finally something played well.

This chapter starts with Alleria. The campaign quest marker was bugged for me until I got really close to her. She´s standing right by the big, square hole down to the Ringing Deeps in Dornogal (31, 59 ish)

I was having an issue with the southern Brazier to become lit even after restarting. Faerin is who lights it, and if you use the ability "Call for Aid" before clicking it it seems to bug out and not give credit.

I died and now when I click on the Release button, it doesn't do anything. The Hope meter runs out, starts over again, runs out, starts over and I still can't release and rez. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Ok, after dying 3 times and finding a Youtube video, here are specifics that no one has mentioned yet:

The northern and southern braziers are Not north and south as their name would imply.. they should have said Western and Eastern. if you look on your map, the very 1st fork in the road leads off to the left and the right. Follow the roads to the end, kill the NPC, click on the brazier and wait for Anduin? (one of the NPCs) to light the brazier. You'll have to fight off a few mobs while he's working on it before it lights and you get credit.

Note: You can randomly click your middle action bar button and make your NPC cast consecration and stand in it to fill your light bar back up a little bit.
Note 2: i read on another post if you click your middle "call for backup" button while Anduin is lighting the brazier it will bug.. with that in mind, i just didn't do it.. so i don't know if that's true or not

By the time i got both braziers lit, my light bar ran out and i died, but you will spawn with that objective still complete. Now follow the main road directly north again, up the steps and into the purple flame wall. There's another NPC that you kill there. i forgot its name already.

After you kill the middle NPC guy, you make your away round to the final base on the baseball diamond where Xal'Atath will be waiting for you. Kill her. Watch the end cinematic. Port back to Dornogol. Talk to Merrix and Anduin. GG. You're *finally* done questing and have access to the Earthen race

"Lighting the braziers": Here's some tips that will help you if you're struggling with this quest:

You do not have to kill all the mobs. You only need to complete the objectives as stated. Therefore, only just focus on killing those that are too close to your path.
North and South braziers are really on the left and right side of the ship you came from. I would start with going to the right a.k.a "South", keeping myself away from the road and on the edge of the fort as much as possible, avoiding mobs. This make it very easy to complete the first objective.
Once killing the tall mob at the brazier, go back to the ship towards the other brazier. If you die/run out of Hope, do not lose hope... (see what I did there?) because you will start over with the first objective already completed.

If you went directly to the objective to Defeat Xal'atath, she won't be there. You must light the North Braizer and South Braizer first. The Braizers do not show with quest objective markers on the map. Confusing!

What a ridiculous sequence of dialogue:

Wife: Husband, I need to leave.
Husband: What? Why? We are winning.
Wife: We're playing right into the bad guy's hands.
Husband: Okay that doesn't sound good, so you're ditching?
Wife: No I'm going to stop her.
Husband: Love it, let's go.
Wife: No you stay here.
Husband: Wtf why?
Wife: You have to trust me.
Random Guy & Girl: Don't worry sir, we got her back.
Husband: The @#$%? How about you two stay here and fight off the grunts while I go with my wife? Clearly that ought to be the arrangement no?

Does anyone know what the screen effect is called? It looks like Holy light and only occurs when your around the torches. I want to duplicate it when my paladin has wings active

I found that when you hug the eastern edge, you can avoid most mobs. If the NPCs do aggro something, kill it, as the NPCs will not follow you otherwise.

Finally Anduin remembers that he is a priest and can rezz, but still doesnt know how to heal.

Oh, and the Dark Heart is destroyed, but we still dont know what it was. Great story telling.

OK, so the light is with you but for a short amount of time. Once in the instance, look at the map. Left and right are braziers. Do these first. Don't run to the brazier and light it, you would attract a complete battalion of enemies. Walk to the braziers. Underway, as soon your fellows attack an NPC, help them fight these. If you get this button on screen for some extra light, hit it. There is enough time, or should I say light, to get to the brazier. A fellow follower will light the brazier, you do not need to do this. At the brazier, wait until your bar of light is completely full (tip: check your socials in the mean time on your phone or read the latest news) and then repeat for the other brazier on the other side of the map. Repeat waiting until light bar is full at the brazier. Look at the map and walk up the stairs in the middle to the next target. Once the well (?) is touched, your darkness problem is over and you can proceed to kill Xal'atath. Your NPC-buddies are helping you so this is not very hard at all.

P.S. If dinner is ready once the braziers are lit, and you log out, then you have to start from the beginning.

Knaifu isn't saying the dialogue she's supposed to say when i cleanse the eye from His Gift Upon You and i finished that questline (the one about abandoning her)

Description

Something is very wrong. As the battle continues, each side has become more aggressive. Alleria seems to know something - she ran off at one point during the battle. We've been giving chase, but I cannot leave these soldiers to die. She's just ahead, we can reconvene with her together.
