So turns out crafting orders are server specific, and well we are now 2 days into the expac and my low pop server has not a single crafting order on its AH, so this is... undoable.

So guess gotta transfer or wait till they add the ability for the AH to be entirely region wide, otherwise crafting orders are a dead mechanic to me.

You can do “Personal” crafting orders between your alts. Just make the “tip” price 1 silver (since 5% of your tip gets taken by the order service). Change the order time limit to 12 hours to lower the cost per order from 20g to 5g, so that’s 25g to complete this quest.

The alts have to be on the same server (or combined servers), and high enough level to get to the Dragon Isles hub and place crafting orders.

Turn in is at Azley (as of this writing, the question mark doesn’t show on the map).

This has got to be the worst quest idea in existence. They should have made NPC work orders available as replacements lol.

This quest will not appear until you reach level 25 in your profession.

For just getting the quest done, you can use the approach that others have described of having alts submit orders for whatever BoE has the highest profit margin on your server (or least bad loss). Don't forget to ask your guild if anyone is looking for a toy or something, too.

As for personal orders, all my alts have engineering (because Goblin Glider and Loot-A-Rang and Nitro Boosts and wormholes ...) so for now I'm still kitting them out in their goggles while they level and I still want to prioritize the quest on my main versus getting more skill points on the alts. I also am still making relevant profession tools for each one, Any time I am ready to make a new toy or pet for myself, I submit that via a request from an alt because it all ends up in my own collection.

In the long run the cheapest options are:

Handful of Serevite Bolts, 8 Serevite Ore, (2g x 8 = 16g) = ~16g
Bottomless Stonecrust Ore Satchel 10 Draconium Ore (6g x 10 = 60g), 4 Handful of Serevite Bolts (2.5g x 4 = 10g) = ~ 70g
Draconium Delver's Helmet: 4 Draconium Ore (24g), 4 Handful of Serevite Bolts (10g), and 65g for vendor lenses (possibly less on AH) = ~100g

The prices are as of late February 2023 from Wowhead data, and consistent with the AH prices on my low pop realm, US-Argent Dawn. For making profession equipment, bolt values are typically lower than the ore value of making the bolts yourself.

For cost recovery, the AH would be best, if you want to bother. Bolts should sell easily for more than vendor, probably coming in at about break even. Or you can of course send them back to your engie for future use.
Disenchant value isn't much for the gear, only about 4-5g for the dust from two items. The real value would be in reselling on the AH, for which the helmet would be your better bet (~500g each, varies wildly) versus the satchel (~100g, varies wildly). Of course, their is a higher likelihood with either that your listing just doesn't sell, but deposits are very cheap at 60 silver per 48 hour listing.

You can use an alt to place an order for Handful of Serevite Bolts and send them straight back to your engineer since they're commonly used.
