If you want the new Hunter ensemble, Ensemble: Dark Ranger's Attire. make sure to do this quest chain on your HUNTER (AND one that has opened the Legion Order Hall cause you have to go buy it there), or you have to do it ALL OVER AGAIN!

This is offered by Calia Menethil in Oribos, at the Enclave.

If you can't find Calia, you are in the wrong Tirisfal Glades timeline. Speak to Zidormi in Tirisfal Glades before heading to Brill

There is no special message for Hunters when you complete the Return to Lordaeron storyline and earn Return to Lordaeron (Hidden Character Achievement)*. To buy the Ranger transmog set, Ensemble: Dark Ranger's Attire, go to Trueshot Lodge in Highmountain (Legion xpac).

Getting to Trueshot Lodge

If you've done the Legion starting quests:

Make your way to Dalaran (over the Broken Isles) using the purple Dalaran hearthstone. It’s now in your Toy Box.

You’ll find yourself at the base of the stairs to the Krasus Landing flight point. Go up the stairs to get a flight to Trueshot Lodge.

To get to Trueshot Lodge faster talk to Talua, she will teleport you there.

Talua is a Tauren standing across the platform from the flight master. She provides an eagle who teleports you to Trueshot Lodge.
OR see the Krasus Landing flight master. All flight point maps in the Broken Isles will show Hunters a flight point for Trueshot Lodge.
Otherwise:
Use the portal to Aszuna in the Mage tower/ Wolf’s Den. Then go to the nearby Illidari Stand flight point at 44.7, 43.8 in Aszuna. This is faster than flying directly to the unmarked Trueshot Lodge in Highmountain.

Outfitter Reynolds

The entrance to Trueshot Lodge is at 48.8, 39.2 in Highmountain. Inside turn right. It's dimly lit. Look for the worgen ~~tauren~~ surrounded by other players. Sells:

Ensemble: Dark Ranger's Attire
Pet Training Manual: Play Dead so your pet won't keep fighting when you use Feign Death.
Pet Training Manual: Fetch. Your pet will retrieve loot from your prey.

To return to Dalaran, go up the closest stairs and take the glowing portal back.

Notes: My hunter did basic Legion quests and acquired a basic legendary weapon before Shadowlands. I don't know how much or how little you have to do to access Trueshot Lodge.

1 Eyes of the Wolf	First Quest is from Genn Greymane in Oribos 41,7 63,6 and speak with Gilnean Greymage then you will be teleported. Then move to Calia Menethil 61 51,5.
2a Assemble the Forsaken	"Speak with 3 NPC: - Dark Ranger Velonara 62 50.5 Do quest for him This Land is Ours kill 8 mobs. - Master Apothecary Faranell 63.2 55.5 - Lilian Voss 57.6 49.2"
2b This Land is Ours	Kill 8 mobs
4 The Blight Congress	First speak with Lilian Voss then after conversation speak with Calia Menethil then move to 62 55.5
5 Walk of Faith	First speak with Calia Menethil then stay inside barrien and kill mobs until Blighted Lieutenant when you kill him use flask on your extra spell bar then move back.
6 Consulting Our Allies	Fly to Margrave Sin'dane in Maldraxxus 74.7 33.6 on top of flying bulding.
7 House of Plagues	Fly to Plague Deviser Marileth 71.2 71.4
8a Essence of Plague	First press on Simmering Concoction 70.9 74.1 then Unstable Concoction 69.6 75.6 and last Tumultuous Concoction 68.5 79.7
8b Feed the Eater	Slay plague mobs until 100%
10 Embodiment	Slay Lordaeron Blight 68.3 84
11 Return to Brill	Use Lilian's Hearthstone to teleport then go to Master Apothecary Faranell 65.8 60.1 and speak with him and wait until conversation end.
12 The Remedy of Lordaeron	Jump on Shadowbat 65.7 59.9, use kill 1 and 2 on mobs under you, when you will get 100% you will start fight with Amalgam use on him skill 3-5.
13 The Desolate Council	First will be a conversation
14 Path of the Dark Rangers	hmm i just finish this quest without accept maby due to that im not hunter ?
15 Report to Greymane	Back to Oribos to speak with Genn Greymane 41.5 63.4 first give him letter then finish quest after that you will reach Achievement Return to Lordaeron.

Calia Menethil, who offers the Horde version of this quest ( Call to Lordaeron ) seems to have been moved from Oribos to Orgrimmar in patch 10.1.7. Unfortunately, it does not seem as though Genn Greymane has received the same treatment. I have checked the Howling Oak in Darnassus and nearly every square foot of Stormwind City to confirm this, but it seems you still need to complete the entirety of the Shadowlands leveling campaign up until the point where you choose a covenant in order for Genn Greymane to show up in Oribos, and you cannot pick up this quest anywhere else.

Quest appears to be borked. The disguise does not make you friendly to the horde NPC's and the follow up quest givers do not spawn. Thus it is impossible to complete this quest.

In case you have a boosted lvl60 character on a new account, just teleport to Oribos from your capital city and choose a covenant.
You will then see this quest available in the same room. Do this questline on a hunter character to also get the transmog set.

If you are in Dragonflight, the quickest way to get this customization and transmog is:

Create a new test character as HUNTER. With this, the character will already be level 60 with the Shadowlands campaign already completed, just needing to choose the covenant.
Take the portal to Oribos and take the quest to choose your covenant.
Right after you choose your covenant, the quest that starts this entire Questline will appear, Calia Menethil and Genn Greymane will be in Oribos, next to the NPC that completes the covenant choice quest.
Take the quest and complete to get the Return to Lordaeron achievement.
Once you get the achievement, you will be able to buy the Ensemble: Dark Ranger's Attire for 1000g. At this point you will probably have gotten 300g from quests and items, now just mail the rest of the gold to the test character.
Go back to Stormwind and take the portal to Azsuna, the pink dalaran hearstone will not work.
Fly to Trueshot Lodge (Legion Class Hall), in HIghmountain and buy the mog with the Worgen in right side.

I can confirm that this way works, in 30 minutes you can get everything. I got the achievement and the mog yesterday (11/28/2023) in Horde Side.

Description

An alarming rumor has reached me, thanks to our spies. The Forsaken are mustering in Tirisfal Glades. For what purpose, I do not know. Notably, Calia Menethil has gone there as well. We must know more of what they are up to, now that the accursed Banshee Queen no longer unites them. Go, don a disguise and see what you can discover. Observe everything. And if there is opportunity to gain their trust and learn more, do as they ask. I eagerly await your report.
