so I have found that each location has a chance for any one of the items to spawn, I sat at one and saw flotsam, and two others I cant remember the names, but I assume that if I sat in one spot long enough I just may get them all. sadly the ones that spawned so far, I already have lol

Just to note, that the Sticky Seaweed doesn't just pop as completed when you click on it. You need to grab it and walk away from the plant with it.

FYI - click the seaweed - then walk away from it (like the weeds in your Pandaren garden) You have to pull it from the spot.
I made the error of clicking and hearthing back, only to find I had not gathered it at all.

You can find Fallen Kelp Bud and Sticky Sea Weed at the same location around /way 38 66

Note on Sticky Seaweed: Today I did not find it at the normal location 31,71, However it was at 37.07,81.99. Hope this helps.

Currently the quest rewards 50 rep, it is not worth doing whatsoever, it takes extreme amount of time to complete and it won't speed up your pathfinder, better to find one more rare instead or just skip it.

Turns out you can get ~~all~~ several of the items needed for this quest in one place. There’s a cave that one of my Nazjatar companions led me to when he reached rank 20 — entrance is at 36.55, 86.38 (near the southwestern tip of the map, at Tide’s Fall.) The cave contains Impregnable Cone Shells, Deepcoral Bud, and Fallen Kelp Bud. The pool just outside the cave may contain Sticky Seaweed.

(Caveat: I’m not sure whether you first need to unlock Gorm's Lantern in order to access these items.)

(Edit: After returning to the cave a few times, it looks like this doesn’t contain all requisition items as I had previously thought.)
