I'm trying to talk to Darcy Parker and horde players are killing the npc over and over again so no one can progress.

Not sure which is worse, the fact there are ppl in the game who do this or the fact Blizzard lets them.

The first option with Darcy Parker just leads to her leading you to the inn. I was very curious what the <Glory to the Banshee Queen!> option leads to but I imagine death to Darcy and the nearby guards :(

I had an issue of the quest turn in not showing up. I am posting this in case someone else has this issue and tries to find what to do, only to come up empty handed like I did. Found this fix by chance.

The turn in to this quest is with the Dark Ranger in which you are traveling with; however seems that something can happen where the quest turn in does not trigger once you finish the objectives to this quest.. What you need to do then is leave the zone and and zone back in. I flew over to Elwynn Forest and back in to Red Ridge.

You can interact with vendors in Lakeshire while in human form, great chance to pick up a Pattern: Black Whelp Tunic for example.

This quest made me laugh, hundreds of identical children with a strange lady descend on Lakeshire, SI:7 stealthed everywhere, and nope, no one is suspicious of anything.

After getting the quest, drink the potion right away and do not use a mount, instead walk to the guards otherwise the quest will get stuck on the "Guards questioned step.

For anyone curious but worried it might force you into combat, yelling "Glory to the Banshee Queen!" doesn't lead to anything special. Darcy Parker simply insists that "good little girls don't say things like that", and that you're just going through a phase.

I came here to find out who to talk to because I wasn't much direction in the game. Since I didn't find it and managed to figure it out after some running around, I thought I'd share.

1) Drink the potion and run to the guards on the west side of the tower.
2) Go inside the tower and talk to Darcey (ground floor by the cooking pot--some people keep killing her).
3) Head into town and talk to Innkeeper Brianna (you can mount and reuse the potion just outside of town).
4) Go upstairs, first doorway on the right, through to the bedroom, there's a letter to read on the left-hand nightstand.
5) Quest complete. Next quest: Signs of Saurfang Signs of Saurfang.

Funny thing: You can use the Mesmerizing Fruit Hat while disguised as the little girl. I recommend trying it out.

So I mounted up a few times before figuring out that each time I did, it undid the effects of the humanizing potion.

So to answer your question quick as I can, I don't think we saw any dogs last night. At least not that I can recall.

Darcy Parker: Oh, yes, ppor thing. I couldn't make out a word of what he was saying on account of the slurring and stumbling. Something about beans? I put him right to bed over at the inn in Lakeshire. Hope he's not feeling too horrible today.

What happened last night?
Darcy Parker: Oh, sweet thing, nothing to worry about. Were you scared? One of the guards just had a little too much fun and he needed to lie down and take a nap. I put him right to bed at the inn, don't you worry.

<Darcy gives Lyana a worry glance.> Darcy Parker: Good little girls don't say things like that, dear. <Darcy turns to face Lyana.> I';m sure it's just a phase.

Innkeeper Brianna: Hello little one, please get out of this way. We're kind of busy here.

Innkeeper Brianna: Yes, actually, quite a few. Head upstairs if you want to see for yourself. Sorry, but I need to get back to the other customers.

Isn't that a little rude?
Innkeeper Brianna: You little brat! Hasn't your mother taught you better than to question adults.

We want a room, please.
Innkeeper Brianna: Sorry, they're taken up by local guards right now. Not sure where they got the gold. They filled up the rooms last night. Even the captain was here. At least one of them left me a mess to clean up in the morning, too.

I was attempting to do this quest and there were a shocking amount of alliance (maybe 10 lvl 120s) who seemed REALLY bored. One of the hunters kept putting traps on the innkeeper.

I ended up having to disable war mode, but I'm unsure why they can attack you when you are disguised as a little girl.

"Hey dude, you see that little girl over there? ....I gotta bad feeling, lets kick her ass!"

This quest has been broken for me for quite a while now. I can accept it, use the potion but the guards aren't there. The Ranger does her dialogue, but no one responds. The step still completes and I can continue, but I would love to do it properly (lore-lover and all that...)
Anyone else having this issue? Any fixes known?

The NPC's for the guard conversation per the quest don't spawn due to a bug. The NPC you actually want anyway is in the tower nearby on the bottom floor. Speak to her to complete the quest.

I submitted an in-game ticket today as the guards are still not appearing and the workarounds mentioned here have no effect for me.

Description

If Saurfang was headed in this direction, it would have been difficult for him to avoid the Three Corners watchpost. We could simply walk in there and demand information, but I have a feeling that they would not part with it willingly. So we will take another approach. I have procured this potion from our alchemists. It will turn us into--ugh--humans for a while. We can then question the guards. Perhaps someone saw something.
