This can be confusing if you've already done the quest on another toon (and forgotten what to do) as you already have the waypoints open in Mac'Aree. You need to be selecting the Vindicaar in Mac'Aree. Completely obvious I'm sure but I managed to go to each waypoint trying to remember what to do.

If using the Console travellig to Eredath does not work for you try this:

- Log out of the game after using the console travelling to the The Vindicaar in Eredath and log back again.
- Now you can interact with Prophet Velen and hand in the quest.

I didn't get credit for this until I travelled to Mac'Aree using the console, went to the surface and straight back onto the ship again. When I teleported back onto the Vindicaar, I then got credit.

Had this quest on an alt, but at the time didn't immediately followup on it, and then couldn't Use the Navigation Console to go to Eredath to continue with the quest. For me the fix was, to first move the Vindicator from Krokuun to it's position at the Antoran Wastes, next I could move the Vindicator to Eredath.

I was very confused by some of the comments here and the name of the zone and quest. From Wowpedia:

This zone was originally named Mac'Aree. The name first appeared during The Burning Crusade with the character Jessera of Mac'Aree (now Maatparm), referencing Blizzard Lead Level Designer Jesse McCree. Both the zone and the character have been renamed during Shadowlands after McCree was fired from Blizzard.

So that's why older comments are calling it Mac'Aree. Be sure to be at Vindicaar, Antoran Wastes if you're trying to figure out how to get this quest.

For me, a quest Remnants of Darkfall Ridge turned out is prerequisite before I can got this quest.

A Floating Ruin

Travel to Eredath.

	Use the Navigation Console to go to Eredath (1)

Description

We knew the Legion to be a formidable foe, but recent events demonstrate that we do not possess the necessary strength to continue. We have come too far to fail at this critical moment.

I know of a relic on Eredath, my ancient home, that may be our salvation. We must take the Vindicaar beyond the surface of Argus, to the floating ruin suspended above us.

Perhaps there we will find the salvation we so desperately need.
