You have 15 minutes until Chromie die, so investigate shrines across Draginblight and attacks from instances. If cant realise what to do:
Attacks from shrines:

Azure dragonblight - slay elementals and loot Darkened Scrap of Vellum. When got 50, combine them to Voidcallers' Scroll.
You'll get Voidcallers' Scroll quest, fly to floating disc, turn it in and defeat Void Gargantuan. Loot Smoldering Chronoshard to open portal to Hyjal.
Ruby dragonblight - slay three elites in the shrine, loot three Soul Crystal Fragment and combine to Soul Crystal.
You'll get Soul Crystal quest, fly to the cave in a tree, turn it in and defeat Talar Icechill. Loot Frozen Chronoshard to open portal to The Culling of Stratholme.
Emerald dragonblight - slay mobs to collect 10 Twisted Fiber and 8 Emeraldine Plume and combine to Nightmare-Catcher. Use it and slay two mobs that channeling to a tree protector. There are three protectors in the shrine, so you have to to that three times. After that you'll get The Ancients' Wisdom. Turn it in near the water next to a bone hand, slay Thalas Vylethorn and loot Gleaming Chronoshard to open the portal to Andoral.

Attacks from instances:

The Well of Eternity just run it from the end to the entrance and slay Grolethax
Mount Hyjal - get close to Chromie's body and slay few waves of mobs.
Battle for Andoral - during Sky Ablaze With Cannonfire quest you have to defeat enormous gun. It has 80% damage reduction and the same chance to avoid damage.
There are few elites (such as Roobi Skizzelvolt) that drops items to disable those buffs. There are also war-captains which drop Military Explosives. Use that to destroy the cannon faster.
The culling of Stratholme - you have to finish quests: Smoke, Meat, and Pretty Flowers, Yeah, Definitely for the Kids, Holing Up,
For Emery and Fight Plague with Fire. As you done run through the scenario as you run through the instance in CoT. Slay Nezar'Azret in the end.

For the achievement for this quest, to get the ensembles, is this only released for a short amount of time, or is this permanently in game?

Completed this on live with no extra talents unlocked on Chromie besides the ones available on the first day of release. Got two of the boss keys (Hyjal and Stratholme -- got the last one while doing the Stratholme quest). Beyond that, go for all the Gigantaurs, chests, and bosses you can. Always go for the boss chests. Get damage and speeds boosts when possible. Do not use Bronze Drakes. Hope and pray -- and good luck :)

Anybody else get a fun glitch where the scenario ending before you can turn in a chronoshard erases that chronoshard from existence entirely? Couldn't get the one from the Void Lord in the Azure shrine back in time, and now he won't drop it anymore, and the portal's not there. I'm stuck at 7 known targets, so without the last one I can't complete it. I'm pretty much screwed.

Just completed as Enhance shaman with 2 talent tiers, only got 1 portal skip for Andorhall, here are a few tips that might help:

For gear: Legendarys i used the (heal while standing still) and sephuz (almost all elites are stunnable and can be interrupt)
Also for trinkets i used and , remenber that ALL legion gear scales to 1.000 ilvl, so even if you have a low ilvl SFF or BTI, use it, the SFF did almost 20% of my damage! Mastery is also way high on this, 4P T19.

Buff priority > Portal skips (epic chest) > 30 secs > 10% damage > 20/10 secs > 10% speed > 10% defense. Finished the run with around 6 damage stack +3 speed and 3 red and about 6 extra mins

So the key to complete this, is manage CDs and know what you can aggro and kill, and work on your pathing and getting the right buffs and skips, at the moment with low buffs, its almost IMPOSSIBLE to complete without at least 1 skip (i was aimming for 2 skips but i had a good run and managed to do with only 1) So you might want to wait for 4-5 chromie traits to do this painless, but if you want a challenge, best way to do it its to clear all 4 shrines and get 1 skip, if not, leave the instance and restart untill you do.

So lets talk how to do it, Start by grabbing the random quest to clear 1 shrine and head to then Green shrine, before entering it look for the Magnataur and kill it DONT WASTE CD ON THE MAGNATAURS, its a low hp elite that hits hard and drops 1-2 Sands, after killing it head down to the shrine and finish the Satyr, interrupt the sleep cast and you'll be fine.

Head to the Blue shrine, before entering it look for the other magnataur and kill it (this will give some time for your CDs to come back up) after that head for the Void elite and kill him, there should be 1 treasure on top of the other flying disc or by the ground protected by 2 mobs, try to grab it. after that fly to the left side of the temple (looking at the map) where you start, on the ground, there will be another magnataur patrolling it, after killing it go to Red Shrine and kill the lich, there may spawn a chest somewhere with 3 non-elite mobs guarding it, its not near any of the 3 elite pack , if you find it, grab it. After that head for the Obsidian shrine and kill the last Magnataur patrolling the road, head in and kill the Dreadlord, after his dead, mount up, fly up in the skies and drop to your death, you will release at the temple and save you some time, turn in the quest and use your Sands.

By now if you didn't get 1 portal skip (with the chest) you should just restart the instance and run it again. I often find the Dragon Clear on the shrines to be somewhat wastefull, as you skip 2-5 Sands by skipping 1 shrine and its magnataur, but if your lucky and got 1 skip for any portals (Hyjal is a bad one to skip, its can be done in 2-3 mins while all the others will take around 5 mins) you can go ahead and do the portals.

Starting with the easy Portal Hyjal, Clear all the waves and boss, interrupt firenova, AoE everything else down, carefull not to be knockbacked by dogs and aggro more trash.

Next Portal i did was the Well, i hate that portal, try not to aggro too much and be mindfull where chromie is, sometimes its just best to aggro 2-4 mobs near her than to have she bodypull those. run to the end and get the portal, i went on the right side, After that, what i did was mount up and run all the way to the other side of the path with the mages + warrior, LoS on the open door with the caster mob, killed him, waitted them to get clumped up and stun + AoE them down, then dreadlord pack and boss, worst part its to get to the first transporter.

By this time i had found 1 skip for Andorhall, and even after i skipped it i still entered and killed the elite with the chest for more sands, but if you didn't get the skip, (Horde side) Mount up and head to the gnome engineer, kill him, kill the priest next to him and look for 1 chest behind him, if its not there, it will be on the mage, position yourself on the inn entrance with your back to the wall not to get knockbacked and interrupt his heal. After that mount up and look for the alchemy, kill him. If the chest wasn't with the priest, engage and kill the mage, if the chest isn't with her, don't bother. shes a *!@#$ and the flame wreath will blow regardless of you or anything moving in or out. With the 2 pieces try to get around 5 of the explosives with the elite guards and head for the cannon (7 will kill it but its not necessary, with 5 you should be fine or even less).

Final Portal, Stratholme, run in and don't go for the quest yet, run on all the shops and get all the things, head back to the tavern, turn in quests, go to orphanage, back to the tavern and once your outside, mount up and don't stop untill you are in the townhall, go untill the end, chromie will be stuck behind killing stuff but once your near the hidden door she should pop behind you, if she doesn't, just move back a bit untill you find her and open the door, go to the undead and AoE them down, i usually stopped on the necros and AoE, run down and kill the Crypt Lord and you should be done.

Managed it today as a WW Monk (Pichí-TheMaelstrom(EU)), only had the first 2 talent rows. My successful run I was only the second time I was given two skips (out of about 20 timed attempts), the second skip dropped when I was part way through Andorhal, but still had 4 mins to spare so the second wasn't really needed. Alternated between Katsuo/Kil'jaeden Trink legendaries and Katsuo/DMC for multi target and single target fights respectively.

A few tips I found for trying to speed run it:
First, use Sands of Time as you find them until you get a Bronze Drake. Just ESC out of the box and wait to use that ability, as it will still be there. Obviously avoid all rep, gold and TW token rewards as they are useless for a timed run. If you are given a skip box, DONT OPEN IT. The reward is based off what shrines you have left to complete when the box is opened, so just leave it in your bags until you need it. Also, worth noting they are not Unique and yes you can have 2 boxes in your bags (I had this happen).

Start with Well of Eternity, as I found this is where Chromie's running can screw you over the most, and she can just kill herself. Its possible to skip most of the trash around the Well by hugging the left hand wall. Also, when you spawn in, run straight left to the wall and Chromie won't run and stand at her body, saving quite a lot of time. You then just watch the abyssals patrols and dodge them, run to the portal and kill the adds around there.

I then went to Hyjal, although you could do the Shrines beforehand. Here there are 3 chest spawn points, one of them will have the chest. You can land and loot the chest without killing the nearby trash, just be careful.

Afterward I went to the Ruby Shrine then Obsidium, then flew up on my mount and fell to my death to respawn back at Wyrmrest. I then went to the Azure Shrine (pass over the boss spawn to get him going, then find the Time chest nearby before killing the boss).

Here you want to use your Bronze Drake to kill the Green Shrine. I personally felt like this was the longest and potentially most likely to wrong (missing a Sleep then being hit by the Shockwave-type ability).

Next I went to Andorhal. I go to the Potionmaster first, before killing the Guards going up the path to the Engineer, then get any remaining Guards you need before going to the cannon.

For Strath, you need to have a skip. Even when you buy all the mats together your still looking at a minimum 7 minute shrine which isn't feasible unless you manage to chain +30 second stolen time enough.

Managed it today as a feral druid (legendaries irrelevant as they're not any of the good ones) with the first 3 talent rows. Got 3 skips - one shrine, and the all-important Andorhal and Stratholme. Other than that, I got 220 extra seconds, an irritatingly large pile of damage taken reduction and some damage and movement speed buffs. Ran out of my allotted 15 minutes and had 22 seconds left of my spare.

I killed all of the magnataurs except for the one by the Obsidian shrine (which was the one the drake cleared), including the one down near Wyrmrest temple, and grabbed the chests in the shrines also - it helped that I'm a druid and I could grab them in flightform without fighting for them.

The satyr in Emerald hurts. You need to be extremely prompt with interrupting Sleep and moving out of the frontal AoE. If you can dispel poison, you should. Head for this one to start with (unless you got lucky and a drake cleared it for you) and use your burst cooldowns, they'll be up again by the third shrine.

You can stun the void lord in Azure to break him out of casting the silence AoE. Otherwise, move as he's casting it so you're out of it ASAP.

The lich in Ruby is probably the easiest of the minibosses, you don't even really have to break Chromie out of the iceblock, just burn him down.

I didn't have to kill the demon in Obsidian on my successful run, but all you need to do for him is to move when he's casting the infernal so it doesn't land on your head and stun you (and also so it doesn't land on Chromie and kills her).

When you're done clearing the last shrine, fly up and kill yourself - saves time running back to Wyrmrest, especially if the last shrine's Obsidian.

You can grab either chest in Hyjal without aggroing the mobs that are guarding it - approach it from the back and you'll be fine.

In Well of Eternity, you want to hug either the right wall or left, and avoid the infernals altogether (watch the patrols). In an ideal world you want to avoid all felguards also, as they have a decent chunk of health. Watch for combat and wait for the hounds to catch up to Chromie so you can kill them and drag her past patrols, instead of leaving her there and then having her run up and pull extras. You don't need to kill either of the packs on the circular platform; if you have stealth, you might be able to skip one or more of the groups of 3 elves on the spiraling ramp, depending on how Chromie paths, but don't count on it.

If you have to clear Andorhal, you might still make it. Kill the engineer and the alchemist (they're at either end of the semicircle of rares) and then just kill enough commanders to clear the cannon - unless you're desperate for a Stratholme skip, the other rares are a waste of time, since all they drop is Sands of Time.

If you have to clear Stratholme manually... good luck. You might still make it if you got extremely lucky with other skips, but it's the longest portal.

Its super hard to do this when Chromie, keeps getting stuck and then just float on spot, and will not move, gotta love it when its a time thingy and the freaking npc that you need to go with you buggs out....

For me, Chromie, as a healer, dies so easily and I, as BM hunter, have a problem sometimes, to keep my pet alive. Does anyone have the same problem?

Advice for not good DPS dealers.

Fastest way to kill it is this if you have done 4/4 and open all portals ( you dont need any encahtments from chromie but 20% damage reduction is cool)

1. Kill 3 rare mobs (icefist, and his brothers look on this tutorial CTRL F Icefist, when they drop 5-6 sands, continue to kill 1 boss that which is for bonus quest
2. Open all sands you have to have min. 5 from bonus rares + 3 from quest + 1 from miniboss = 9 you will open it.
3. You need exactly this 3 stufs Time-Lost Keepsake ( you will get 3 skips of dungeons) best combo is well + strat + adorhale, you will kill burning boss its realy easy if you are ranged or keep drums for that phase.
4. Every next sands use on time bonus or DPS bonus
5. If you are lucky you can do like 3 -4 runs if not like 10 :D

If you dont get enough timelost keepsake dont even lost your time just leave instance and start over. If you have some bonuses from chromie best is BONUS DRAKE stuff and for god sake do NOT i reapeat do NOT use this little !@#$% as tank... she is realy paper tank :D

I've already completed the reputation grind and the xmog grind on my BM Hunter, so I decided to go back in to farm the chests. Here's what I dug up after running it ten times and what I did exactly. I thought this a better way than Timewalking Dungeons to farm Timewarped Badges due to the time it takes to complete it. It should be noted that I did not have Fortuitous and was running Acceleration/Rapid Recovery/Dragon's Determination/Blessing of the Bronze Dragonflight.

Gold: 1,383g 43s (138g)

Bronze Proto-Whelp: 2
Time Spent: 77mins (8mins)

The averages are not exact at all for some runs I received zero powerful items or bronze drakes. I would also sometimes (two of my runs out of the ten) only receive ten Timewarped Badges or one Time-Lost Wallet; those were sad runs. :c I ended up choosing treasure over Drakes about four times total over the course of my runs just because my point was for treasure.

My Farming Loop
First, I started by accepting the quest from whoever was giving it at the top of the temple. Then, I would fly down and kill the magnataur rare patrolling below Wyrmrest. Next, I would fly towards the Ruby Shrine and kill the rare patrolling that ridge then grab the treasure chest in that shrine. I would then fly up towards the Obsidian Shrine and kill the magnataur outside of it. I would stop in the front of the cave entrance and Eagle Eye into the cave to see if there were any chests spawned in the cave. For non-Hunter or Shaman races, you can just run to the ledge inside to the right to check over - though you'll have to kill some adds. If they were spawned, I would run and grab them; if not (or after I grabbed them), I would fly up and drop to kill my character and release spirit to be back at Wyrmrest.

I would mount back up, then fly down towards the Azure Shrine and kill the patrolling rare outside of its ridge. Then, I would fly in and loot the chest in that shrine and fly over towards the Emerald Shrine. I would kill the last magnataur outside of the Emerald Shrine then look and loot the chest there. Once more, I would fly up and drop to release spirit and be back to the top of the tower.

Once I had cleared all the Shrines, I would use the Andorhal portal and run past Chromie to mount up. I would fly over to my friendly side first then grab the chest over there before flying over to the enemy side. I would look for the chest, fly in one of the houses so I didn't pull anything extra (which would subsequently pull the mob that's usually out front) and kill it. I would then loot the chest and fly up, drop, and then respawn at Wyrmrest. After that, I would use the portal to Hyjal and mount up, find the chest, loot it, then use the portal back. Usually, you can position yourself not to pull the mobs that hover around the chests in Hyjal.

Some things that I noticed while on my venture of farming were that each place only has one chest up, save for Andorhal and the Obsidian Shrine. Andorhal has a chest spawned for each side (Horde/Alliance) while the Obsidian Dragonshire only has one area for three chests, though it can be a gamble if they're up or not. For example, during my ten runs, only 3/10 of those runs had the chests up in Obsidian. Don't get too close to the platform that the Void spawns in the Azure Shrine because Chromie will bug out and keep trying to fly back (then be teleported back you) over and over again until you die. Whenever I would loot the chest in the shrine is when I would kill the elite for the designated shrine, but I skipped over the rest of the bosses there as they seem to only drop one Sands of Time each. Also, very important to avoid that repair bill, I made macros to take off my character armor and then another to put it back on so I could not lose durability.

Anyway, that's what I discovered and how I went about it! :) I definitely think it's worth it for the Timewarped Badges.

EDIT: So, I went back today and now, with Fortuitous, this is what I came up with on my run:

Even better than before! :) In total, it took me about 8 minutes, but I ran through the rest of the instance since I had all four powerful items so it took me just over fifteen minutes. In fact, I had 12 extra minutes of stolen time. XD

I'm a healer druid, and it was super difficult at first until I realized the correct combination: Stay as a healer druid, make chromie the tank, and keep healing him and DPS the bosses as time permits. Amazingly easier.

This is the most ridiculous scenario I have ever seen. While the story is pretty cool, having to run it like 15 times to finish each part so I can then make a speed run thru to get all the parts in one run is a bit excessive. This is why people don't do this garbage on alts. And having Chromie die all the time because she doesn't heal herself is ridiculous and just plain stupid. --------------- Chromie dying to so many adds not agro-ing on me is PISSING me off. ----- yeah, the cannon has 99% damage reduction which is nearly unkillable - WTH = how am I supposed to damage it (k, so got past that part, however this is still the worst scenario I have ever seen) ------------------------- AARGH THIS IS CRAP - Why can't Chromie keep herself alive?

One great secret of the Time-Lost Keepsake Boxes is that you need to fully complete EACH of the four portals (Battle for Andoral, Mount Hyjal, The Well of Eternity, and The Culling of Stratholme) in order to unlock the corresponding powerful item.

For all the attempts I speak of I had unlocked all of Chromie's talents minus the very last one (Dragon Crash). My proof (or perhaps extreme coincidence) was that I had completed all portals except the Culling of Stratholme. During this time, I had tried to complete the speed run within 15 minutes about two dozen times without a SINGLE powerful item for either Stratholme OR Well of Eternity (i'm not sure if these two portals are somehow connected)! I then realized that I had not saved Chromie once within Stratholme throughout all my attempts. I decided to fully complete the Culling of Stratholme. Once completed, I retried the timed run and I immediately received all four powerful items while killing the dragonblights. I was able to complete the speed run in under nine minutes!

I hope this helps someone.... Sure would have helped me :)

One tip: You can use the legendary Ring of Draenor (Thorasus, the Stone Heart of Draenor, Nithramus, the All-Seer, Sanctus, Sigil of the Unbroken, Etheralus, the Eternal Reward or Maalus, the Blood Drinker). It will be scaled to ilvl 1000 as well. The same tip does not work for the legendary Cape of Pandaria. Thus, you will have the 2 legendary of Legion and the Legend of Draenor at ilvl 1000.

I took my first look at this scenario today and it bugged out and let me finish after I ran out of time. On my very first try after unlocking the four portals, I was 5/8 done, ran out of time and it kicked me out to the Northrend loading screen. However, I then got stuck on the loading screen for about two minutes, then I was back atop Wyrmrest Temple, seeing the message "Transfer aborted: instance not found" and indeed, this wasn't the Wyrmrest Temple out in the game world, I was still inside the scenario instance. I continued on with the scenario, showing bonus objective failed and no timer, just planning to do my scouting of how the other three portals that'd I'd never been in before worked and to my surprise I noticed that it still gave me credit for completing these other portals. I got to 8/8 and turned in the quest and got the ensemble reward. A bit silly that it let me do this, I submitted a bug report in-game. It doesn't end here though, I will keep going back until I conquer 8/8 doing it properly!

Finally managed to finish this scenario after one week of trying (I havent counted my tries, but mostly I used all the 15 minuts instead of going back). I spent all my sands of time as soon as I got them, and had 5 extra minuts. (I had maybe 15 sec left when I finished!) The only chronoportal I needed to do without a box, was the well of eternety. Chromie almost died in there. ._. I also got one bronze dragon, but i needed to go to obsidian. (Jumped to death after killing the boss) I always chose extra time when that was possible.

As an Arcane Mage this Scenario can be a literal nightmare in the first few runs, however, things get a lot smoother afterwards.
our main objective here is farm Reputation, it absolutelly can't be done without chromie talents wich allow you to drop the itens wich skip phases from the timelines and also her healing and damage reduction buff, they're essentials for your sucess here(It actually can, but well, not for most of us).

First of all, your regular Arcane talents are fine, specially Rune of Power, this spell really helps your burst against most targets and you should always use one charge in the openning sequence followed by Mark of Aluneth, the reason behind this is the initial damage wich will be pretty high followed by the mana recovery provided by Mark of Aluneth, since you'll spam Arcane Blast this mana will be crucial, and also more crucial if Chromie procs her Time Warp.
The second most essential talent is Supernova, abuse it, the monsters inside the instance do receive the knock-up effect, allowing you a second interrupt.

Your first encounter will be Thalas Vylethorn, this fight is pretty straightforward, burst him down, always cast your interrupt on his Sleep and avoid being hit by Dark Eruption, it's a slow cast and you should have no problems avoiding it, unsless you got hit by Sleep.
Abuse your Supernova for his second Sleep cast, so your interruption can be up again, those precious seconds do really help.

Your second encounter will be Void Gargantuan, getting hit by his Looming Shadows can be deadly, and also leaves and AoE field on the ground for the rest of the battle.
The best way to deal with that is interrupting his first Void Blast, it's a very fast cast, so you should be ready to interrupt it right away, doing so will lock his Looming Shadows for a few seconds allowing you enought time to do tons of damage.
Naturally, at this point you should only spam Arcane Blast and keep your Arcane Missiles charges for the kiting phase.
After his lock ends you can cast your Supernova on Looming Shadows to get a few extra seconds of damage.
After that, just run around while casting Arcane Missiles and Presence of Mind for extra kiting damage.
Repeat the cicle if required.

Your third encounter will be Talar Icechill, there's no real issue here. His Deep Freeze on Chromie will render her useless unless the ice on her receive damage, you can counter-measure this by pushing him close to Chromie and when he casts, just Mark of Aluneth him so the AoE damage can deal with the ice on Chromie.

Your last encounter on this timeline will be Zorathides, no real secret here, interrupt his Carrion Swarm using Supernova, normal interrupt on Cripple and side-step to avoid Infernal Strike.

Your two most troublesome encounters on the portals will be Nezar'Azret and Fiery Behemoth, spam Arcane Barrage(combined with Chrono Shift) and Slow, they'll never be able to touch you with that amout of slow.
Always interrupt Fiery Behemoth's Fire Nova, on close range this can one-shot you and Chromie, should not be a problem with slow spam used correctly.

This should do the trick.
Don't get pissed if you fail, consider your failed attempts as "slight changes on the timeline" and not as failures.

Since comments here were instrumental in my completion of the quest, I thought I'd contribute with my own experience now that it's over.

I did this yesterday on a protection paladin I've only played off-and-on recently, and it was a long learning curve for me. Completing all of the Chromie "talents" was a huge development; then realizing that the Sands of Time, and specifically Powerful Items, are the key to success.

Here's how I completed it:

I used all of the talents recommended in the guide. They max out your chance to get sands (and, thus, keepsake boxes).
I grabbed the quest to complete one of the dragonshrines (doesn't matter which you get as far as I can tell).
I cleared each of the dragonshrines, and killed any of the magnataurs I encountered (didn't go out of my way to find them) for more sands. Flying way up and dropping after the obsidian dragonshrine didn't work for me - I'd always survive (maybe Chromie doing some kind of cheat-death thing?), so I'd just fly back to the tower.
At that point, back at the tower, I'd open all of the sands and see what my situation looked like. On my final run, I got items to rush through all of the portals except Culling of Stratholme; I finished the three using those items (hoping I'd get an item to also finish CoS), and finished the last one manually as quickly as I could.

On my second-to-last attempt I actually finished everything, ending with CoS, but I didn't realize that after killing the boss you have to click on Chromie who is struggling from within some webbing - the coloring seemed to blend in with the mist and background so it didn't jump out at me, and I ran around looking for something to fight because I was stuck at 7/8 threats completed. On my last one I did the same thing, thinking I should be screen-shotting so I could put in a ticket, but luckily I noticed the movement and rescued her.

So it's possible to complete the scenario even if you don't get the item to rush through CoS, but that seems to be the most time-consuming portal so you have a decent advantage if you do get it.

So this is a quest with no explanation at all, which means you can only do it by reading this thread on Wowhead first. That's really lazy design, but how did anyone ever discover how to do it in the first place? The fact that half the quests on WoW have no explanation unless you check it out on Wowhead first is what made me give up WoW for a few years in the first place. It's pretty frustrating. A game that can't actually be played without some outside help is definitely flawed.

Confirming that this is still entirely doable in BfA Prepatch! Completed on a guardian druid with about 20 seconds to spare- the only skip I got was a Bronze Drake for Obsidian Dragonshrine.Kill all the Magnataur rares first, dump any Sands that you can into Drakes & Keepsakes, then DPS & Speeds Buffs (You can take DR buffs if your damage is high but you feel squishy), then pump everything into bonus time. Having 3min bonus time was enough to complete the instance on my 5th or 6th try.

Currently, the whole scenario is BUGGED.

The Culling of Stratholme part is bugged because when you kill the last boss Nezar'Azret, it doesn't count towards the completion of the 8 attacks. Either doing the whole Culling of Statholme scenario or using the Key to the Gate of Stratholme to skip straightly to the last boss, this part cannot be completed actually.

As of Battle For Azeroth 8.2, this scenario can still be completed at level 120. I was able to get Chromie Homie which grants the "Timelord" title after about 2 hours of farming (and always selecting the rep buffs from Sands of Time). You do not have to complete the entire Chromie talent tree in order to complete the scenario. The talents I chose were Acceleration, Rapid Recovery, and Chrono Charisma (which takes 24 hours to research, and by the time it had completed researching, I had already farmed my way to Exalted/Timelord with Chromie, so I switched to Dragon's Determination and fortunately once you've completed the research time for one talent within that tier, you can immediately switch back and forth between the two talent choices in the same tier. I was in the process of researching Blessing of the Bronze Dragonflight when I started another attempt at the scenario, intended to simply be a loot run as I was pinning all the locations of the chests when I happened to luckily loot the skips for 2 of the 4 chronoportals and 1 of the dragonshrines and rushed through to complete the scenario about 10 seconds after the 15-minute timer had run out (so I was operating on Stolen Time at that point). Once you have saved Chromie from all 8 threats, the countdown stops and you are able to farm the mobs and chests (which WILL respawn).

My suggestions:

If you just want the Timelord title, choose rep buffs from Sands of Time (always the left-hand choice) and kill lots of creatures within the scenario. You could easily fly around to the 4 dragonshrines in Dragonblight and farm mobs/chests in 15-minute intervals until you get to exalted/Timelord with Chromie. Once you earn Chromie Homie, you've got the title. No need in trying to save Chromie from all 8 threats. At 120, you don't really even have to research any talents unless you just want to speed things up a bit. I hadn't even completed researching the tier-3 Chrono Charisma by the time I got to exalted/Timelord with Chromie.
If you're trying to complete the scenario to save Chromie from all 8 threats and earn the transmog set, then choose the right-hand option on Sands of Time UNLESS the left-hand option is Time-Lost Keepsake Box because this box contains the Chronoportal skips. The right-hand side buffs can stack to 10 which means you could have 100% movement increase/damage and healing increase/damage reduction depending on what choices you can make when using Sands of Time.
If you're farming for the pets (Ageless Bronze Drake and Bronze Proto-Whelp), then farm the scenario for Sands of Time and choose the left-hand option Time-Lost Wallet when available. Otherwise, choose the left-hand rep buffs if you're going for the achievement/title, and choose the right-hand options for buffs/Dragonshrine skips.

Just in case you were wondering, the Culling of Strathome is a bit of a time consumer. If you have not done these quests you must go in this order as far as I can tell. However, once you have done them once, you can buy all the items once you have came into Strat. You will be able to complete this in one 15 min time frame. In Strat you have to go into town, to the inn talk to the bartender Pick up quest Smoke, meat and pretty flowers. Leave go straight take the first right down the street and buy the tabacco, then go the flower shop and buy the marigolds, next buy the venison. Turn in quest back at the inn, Pick up quest Yeah, definitely for the kids. Deliver the marigold across the street to the orphanage, she will then give you a quest Holing up where you have to go all the way across town again to the armor to buy a refurbished rifle, back to the meat shop for more salted venison and then to the first aid shop to get the bandages. Then you will get a quest called For Emery, give him the salted venison to retrieve the quest Fight Plague with fire where you need Flinty Fire-starter and heavy straw rope....of course all the way across town yet again. Complete the quest with the bartender at the inn and retrieve the town hall key. Go all the way back across town, now fighting skeletons and such with Chromie to the door to open it to continue just like the old school raid/dungeon. Watch out you go to fast you will leave Chromie and she will die. Once you reached the end kill the boss get the sands of time, click on the little person (Chromie) to open portal to end this part.

For the life of me, I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I have done the Dragonshrines and opened all 4 portals on top of Wyrmrest Temple. I did the speedrun of Dragonshrines. Then I went in and did each of the Chronoportals, and saved each Chromie in the 4 scenarios.

Started Chromie's timer over, and started the Scenario Speed run - Stop all eight attacks on Chromie. I get through 6 of 8 and BAM! Not happening!
Shrines Order: Emerald->Blue->Ruby->Obsidian
Portal Order: Hyjal->Well of Eternity->Andorhal->Strat

I have watched a ton of videos and read all the comments/walk-thru guide and it's still NOT HAPPENING!

1 - Well of Eternity - After completing it, and going back in to complete the speed run, shows a flying mount coming to the entrance that takes you to the second portal (never comes), there are so many mobs that chase through even though I HUG the right side (just total time waster)

2 - Stratholme - After completing it, and going back in to complete the speed run, should have the key already in my inventory but NOPE/Gone! In a nutshell, it wants me to do the running back and forth quests all over again to get the town hall key! This alone can take over 5 minutes depending on your buffs, etc.

So 6 of 8 in stopping all 8 attacks and Eternity & Stratholme totally mess it up big time!

Any suggestions, please?

Okay I feel super silly for asking this question. However, I have run the Chromie scenario dozens of times and am somehow unable to turn in the quest itself. Here are the steps I took to complete the quest. If I missed anything, please point it out! :D I am fairly new to WOW, so please be gentle on me. :D

1. Completed all eight quests
2. Earned enough reputation to select all of Chromie's talents
3. Beat all 8 bosses in under 15 minutes
4. Returned to present

Then it just has me do it all over again. I'm sure the answer is very simple but...

how the heck do you turn in the quest?

I finally completed this silly Chromie´s saving quest right now after ~10 runs within 3 days by running all 4 portals + 4 dragonblight´s bosses WITHOUT any special item dropped, since I never ever dropped "Time-Lost Keepsake Box", even if wowhead is saying it has "100% drop chance". Lol, for a sure..
I am probably the only one who completed it in the hardest possible way since the only thing which I got was 4x Sands of Time through which I reached cca 4x20seconds extra time more, nothing else. Last remained 1 second left for me when I turned into the present time.

Just done this in it's entirety today, in under 2 hours. It's a bit of challenge even at level 60, just due to the fact the Culling section is very very time consuming. You can't complete the entire scenario in one run, and will take a good few attempts. The key to the Stratholme section is to pick up all the items you require all at once. This can ONLY be done once you've done a full run of it beforehand since it's gaited slightly by a quest. On my actual attempt I tried to bypass a few adds in the Well of Eternity section which dismounted me and caused a time loss as I tried to reset them (Doesn't work just kill them) and get through the portal. If you get lucky enough to gain a "Powerful item" this is a really good time save and if you've done Culling and Well of eternity and have roughly 8 or so minutes to go. With the use of a powerful item, you should be fine to time this within the 15 minute period (Only if you've unlocked the last boss of each of the shrines first though.) As an Arms warrior with Heroic leap and charges saving me time. Can imagine this is far easier on a class that can stealth or Meld to reset mobs. Nether-the-less very fun quest to do. I understand it can feel stressful and even very tedious, but take your time (No pun intended) and just have a quick think about the route you'll do and take and in which order. My route was

Culling > Well > Battle > Mount Hyjal (Item for Hyjal) > Then black dragon shrine and worked my way down.

Finished with 1 minute 47 seconds of the original 15 minutes left.

This is confirmed to still be working in Shadowlands as of 07.29.2022. Please keep in mind that your character MUST at least have completed the introduction to all legion zones and the class hall campaign. These are hidden requirements and is suggested to do this farm on a character that has most of legion already completed.

Adding a comment for anyone trying in 2022! I revisited this yesterday a year after I first gave up, and I finally got lucky :)

I completed it as a Guardian Druid, and had Chromie's strategy set to use Acceleration, Rapid Recovery, Dragon's Determination, Blessing of the Bronze Dragonflight (didn't get round to setting more). My druid is also higher level than the max 47, and even being levelled down to 47, defeating mobs and losing health wasn't something I needed to worry about.

Things that helped me:
- Completing all the dragon shrines and portals in previous attempts - so you have just the bosses to defeat for the shrines, and also so you can be familiar with what to do and where to go in the portals
- Accept any quest at Wyrmrest so you can collect more Sands of Time
- When getting Sands of Time, always choose Powerful Item if it comes up (they make completing the portals so much quicker), then choose Bronze Dragon (they clear dragon shrines for you - if you've already cleared them all at that point, then no need to select it), then choose extra time (I ran into my stolen time by 10 seconds, so every second really does count)
- When aiming to complete the whole scenario in one, aim to complete all the shrines before the portals as they're quicker and you might get helpful drops to make the portals easier
- You can run straight through mobs on your mount/travel form and Chrome will teleport to be near you. Mobs will still follow and attack Chromie, so you'll need to keep an eye on Chromie's health bar, and heal them if you're able to
- LUCK - I got lucky TWICE on my first successful run. After defeating the bosses at Azure and Ruby shrines, the Sands of Time gave me the Powerful Item option twice, where you receive a Time-Lost Keepsake Box to open. The first one I got was the Stratholme Gate Key (it allows you to skip through to the gate in Stratholme portal) and Cenarion Circle Documents (giving them to Adrine Towhide as you enter Andorhal allows you to skip this whole portal)

I don't know if the order I did things helped at all, but here's how I completed it:

Accepted Ruby shrine boss quest
Emerald shrine
Azure shrine
Ruby shrine
Obsidian shrine
Flew back to Wyrmrest
Stratholme portal (skipped the first quest and ran to the gate in the city, used the Stratholme Gate Key to open them, defeated the boss there, clicked on webbed Chrome for portal to show)
Andorhal portal (gave Cenarion Circle Documents to Adrine the worgen who was right in front of me, and left immediately from same portal)
Mount Hyjal portal (Chromie freezes all the mobs/bosses needed to kill, just try to get through them all as quickly as possible)
Well of Eternity (turned back and stealthed close to the walls to aggro as few mobs as possible. Killed the boss then ran behind him to where the portal was)
Entered Stolen Time! Ahh
Once back at Wyrmrest, ran back to the portal to the Present Day to speak to Chromie and complete the quest

I hope that reads ok. I can attribute my one successful run to just dumb luck with the Powerful Items appearing twice and getting time added on, but I thought I'd write it up here anyway in case it helps anyone else :)

Absolute waste of time. No direction in the quest logs. You have to go to a third party site just to figure out WTF to do. Only to get one shot repeatedly with no way to avoid it. Just fcuking stupid all around

you can't farm timewarped badges anymore with this scenario, this particular reward does not appear with the sands of time.
