Tried it today, July 31st 2014, didn't work. The guy just tells his lines then once he gets hostile he just disappears.

There's only a couple crystals in the area the quest highlights on your map, but the rest can be found all over the place near buildings.

Ok, took me awhile to find them so I went back and wrote them down if any one is having as hard a time as I did.
50, 73 on the deck
50, 79 In hut by the water
49, 80 Next to the fountain
49, 74 On the cliff, under the tree
50, 73 In small hut
50,75 In small hut

If you can't find the quest giver to turn this in to, your Sargerei Disguise may have fallen off. You can farm another one just like you did the first (for a preceding quest).

Just completed the quest. Some observations that may help you:

The crystals are bright green and about shoulder-height to a Tauren.
There can only be 1 crystal spawned at any given time.
There is no spawn delay. As soon as one crystal is destroyed, the next will spawn.
The crystals are not instanced. ANY player on the quest can destroy one.
The spawn area is anywhere within Sargerei territory.
Spawn points include inside the little tents and larger buildings.

So just stay mounted, move quickly, and click fast.

Thanks VSU. I had only ever seen one up at a time over the course of 45 minutes. That has now been removed from my list.

I'm adding my own personal findings which are a little more precise on the coordinate side of things. I also uploaded a few pictures if you're not sure what to look for.

Just finished this quest and all I got to say is this quest can go die in a fire - nothing on the map to help, spread all over the area, only a handful up at a time.

Literally ran around for 45 min looking for them - this is what I discovered:

If your graphics are turned up high enough, and the crystal has spawned outside of a building/hut, you can see the crystal from across the quest zone
Check every building you can walk into - houses, huts, tents... it can spawn ANYWHERE there are Sargerei NPC's.
There can be more than 1 crystal active at one time - I ran up around the 49/72 area (where the daily rare Quartermaster Hershak spawns) and found 3.Then found none for 20 minutes.

This can get really frustrating, took me about 38 minutes to find them all..
My tip - Look in every single place... They can spawn anywhere there are Sargerei npcs.

Is anyone else have the same trouble as me? I cannot enter the building to turn in the quest. The entry is block by a door that will not open.

Oh, right - maddening.

I may have this quest completed before the next expansion hits, but it isn't looking good.

This is part of one out of 12 possible weekly Garrison Campaign series. You receive one every week on a rotation.

Completion provides criteria 'The Sargerei' for achievement The Garrison Campaign/The Garrison Campaign, if you fill the assault bar you also get 800 Apexis Crystal.

Despite the fact that you are destroying the crystals that greatly increase their power, the Sargerei are absolute morons who won't attack you whilst you do so, even if they appear to be kneeling right in front of one harvesting it's power.

Description

While you carry out the pretense of obeying Zamaya's orders, we're going to sabotage the Sargerei under their very noses.

All around this village, you can find Felstorm Crystals. The enemy uses these objects to magnify their power.
