Srsly the buff i get runs out as soon as i even think about moving towards suggested area on this page. I have to stay really close and kill 6-7 and then wait for respawn.

As stated above, buff seems to cancel as soon as you leave "The Skunkworks" subzone. But after it cancels, I was able to click the goggles in my inventory and re-enable the buff, even though my zone said "Silverwind Refuge." I was able to find more assassins outside of the Skunkworks this way, especially towards its west side.

It's kind of ridiculous, if you get out of the skunkworks it disables, when the majority of the night elves are outside of the skunkworks. But just use the goggles again and you get the buff.

This quest rewards one of the few tanking rings at this level.

The quest chain starts with Tweedle's Dumb from Captain Goggath in Hellscream's Watch, and contains three major quests, including this one.

If you're coming in from the east (maybe you flew in to Splintertree Post or are coming from The Barrens), it's probably worthwhile to pick up the flight path at Silverwind Refuge on your way by.

Finally, higher-level mobs. I've been killing nothing but level 20s and 21s from level 25 to level 30. Too bad these level 26 assassins can only be seen for the duration of this quest...

I think this one has been fixed or changed. I changed zone and the buff is still with me. I just don't know if this will still work in other zones other than Silverwind Refuge and The Skunkworks.

This one can take a while. Just run around this area and they will pop out. They are really easy to miss so be paying attention.

This quest does not complete the Weapons of Their Destruction part of the Ashenvale Quests achievement. You have to complete Building You Own Coffin. This is given by Foreman Jinx after you complete They're Out There!

Very easy to miss these mobs (or not have them load at all) if you're flying. I suggest walking around (not mounted) and using /tar Ashenvale Assassin. I got the quest done in less than 3 mins this way. Good luck!

Don't forget to recast Jink'x Goggles when it wears off, otherwise you'll be running around forever and you'll never find them. You can keep tapping tab to spot them more easily or you can use this macro:

/tar Ashenvale Assassin
/script SetRaidTargetIcon("target", 8)

Description

They're out there, <class>. And they're on to us.

Some of my men have begun turning up dead. Elf attacks, no question about it.

My guess is that your work at Astranaar has them desperate to stop our progress here. A last ditch effort to escape defeat!

Take these goggles. They'll help you see even the sneakiest of the elves. Keep them off my back while we finish weaponizing your explosives.
