EDIT: They nerfed this, and is much easier to kill now. Just remember to interrupt his terror spell and try to survive the shadow bolts.

As a Paladin (or any other class with a silence/ interrup), I heavily suggest you save your Rebuke for Shadow Rip, as it hits like a truck. I was normally only able to silence every-other cast due to the CD length, but with some well-timed HoJ, you should be able to delay his cast for long enough for Rebuke to come off CD again.

Oh, and on a solo level-6 at 172 ilvl, I was pretty much using Word Of Glory for every Holy Power spender, and even then it can get hairy pretty fast.

Edit: This was all pre-nerf as of 16/12. Unsure if all of the above is still necessary or not, but I imagine what worked then will still happily work now.

Well little tip for mages if you happen to get the crazy anima power combo I got, this was the only way I could kill this dude;

I had the anima powers to;

polymorph things into mawrats
exploding polymorph
refreshment table that gives 2 neutral mawrats

Then I;

Conjure refreshment, polymorph one of the rats
Start the fight, burn all cooldowns, cc the mob, timewarp, then pull him over to the mawrat and boom!

Couldn't tell how much damage it did but it felt like a lot and was the only way I could kill him :P

Level 6 with +18% floor buff was 243.6K health as solo Guardian druid, that's close to x8 times my health. Reasonable gear with 184 weapon but simply no way to get close to taking this one down before the 10 stacks soft enrage.

Interrupted most Shadow Rip yet the jump damage is basically unavoidable and simply too much health along with those abilities to beat it.

Combined with the buff to monster damage now for solo tanks it makes even clearing to that floor take ages (given at each floor mini-boss is tough as hell as it is). Simply so unrewarding and unbalanced as it is. I did not have great powers but not too shoddy either. But if you fail to build powers with sufficient burst, even with Convoke etc., which is hard as druid tank.

Just before the restart I had cleared to end boss at Level 6. Was a decent challenge and still could not beat the boss but at least it felt balanced. Now not so much.

Twisted Corridoors. This one has 4.3M HP. It is a DPS race cause I dont have too many defensive powers atm. Floor 17 Layer 7. I amgoing to die here. Tell my family I love them.

Update: I almost died, I vanished and now I have to wait for CDs.

As a Rogue I recommend anima powers that involves 400% dmg increase on Shadowstep finisher and reduce Shadowstep CD anima power. Also along side that make eviscerate stronger as much as you can. You will win against big mobs easily. I didnt get so many of them. Altho its really hard anyhow. Maybe 1M HP lower or 700k nerf would be great.

Last update: I got him, I was lucky I had a pillar i kited her/him around for Vial CDs. Use Crippling and Instant Poison

WELP. Another Torghast, another overpowered end-floor "boss". ilvl 188 outlaw rogue. I got him down to about 10% health and he one-shot me twice in a row.

Encountered one today in Twisting Corridors floor 11 as a i-lvl 200 disc priest.
Can't burst him down fast enough.
Tried kiting around pillar, but he catches me up cause he can jump to his target and do instant damage (can't knock him back whilst traveling or anything)
Left Fade images around the pillar for him to murder, whilst I sniped at him, but eventually with his 100% increased speed + 100%+ increased damage he'll catch me up.

And it was all going so well :(
