It doesn't neccessearily mean that it's gonna be out soon, is it? I've been sad and bored lately, so i really want to get in. I have high hopes for the expnasion but at the same time i won't be disappointed if it flops.

Dumb question: If Blizzard has the ability to encrypt its builds, then why release unencrypted builds at all? Is the point to have people datamine?

I would largely predict a September release, or around there?I was absolutely thinking "early/mid" 2023 since there was no preorder, with the beta being late, late 2022. But if Ion said it's pretty much ready and been worked on for longer than normal already (clearly they pulled out devs from ShL and did a WoD2, which is good).Then that's making it all more likely for a 2022 release.Which is good, since I don't think ShL can really last almost another year, even with WotLK about to come out. 9.2/.5 wou'd end up lasting a year if they planned on releasing 10.0 in 2023.Assuming they plan on releasing WotLK in the summer, they'd want to give it few months breathing room of course, and enough time to run the betas.
