As an FYI, since you can only loot the "rare" Data Anomalies once per day, you can farm up a second Data Disc (or similar) and use it after the next day's reset to kill the rare again. Typically you'll find a bunch of people doing so after the reset so you can farm them two days in a row.
oh! So that's how I was able to kill some more anomalies the next day!
Does anybody know how to get the quest Taking The Air Out for the achievment? they say you should kill some stuff but they are never there.
I did that quest the first time it was aveliable and never saw it again. Got by killing one of the named goblins in the area
The 'fix' to only being able to loot each elite anomaly is bogus. I could only loot 5 different elite anomalies today - the others were already marked as 'non-rare' and i couldn't loot them. The blue spaybot is the only thing i need for the meta achievement, been killing the trogg every day since release of the patch, this multiple layers of rng just FeelsPepeMan.
I couldnt agree more.EIther make the rares very rare and guarantee drop, or make it a chance to drop but can be killed as many times as you want per day...
Mrrl's stuff is different for me. Server-Silverhand WM on he sells -Severely Rusted Lock box and Secret item is Ominous Looking Tome.
People need to stop saying you can loot them each once per day. This isn't true, as 6 of the elite anomalies spawn in pairs. You can loot Balnazzar or Kromcrush once, Pummeler or Kazum once, Hogger or Razorclaw once, and finally Geddon once (who is the only one not paired up with another). This means you get 4 total loot rolls per Data Anomaly day.See this comment for more information.
The daily post about the Data Anomaly quest is and has been missing one of the summoning items Cracked Numeric Cylinder
cool
Replying to @herumorHow do you get Elites to summon? The only time I can ever get an Elite is once with a Large Data Disc (or w/e it's called), none of the other 3 followup items ever generate Elites. Also ty for this post - I hope it's accurate as it's the ONLY thing I've ever seen that points to any sort of pattern to how the loot works for this horrible event.Dear Blizzard - reactive nerfs aren't fun or fair for your players. "You should have done it day 1" is the only answer I ever hear about how to get the stupid hearthstone blueprint. How is that okay?
