Not a terrible change, though questionable given how negative tyrannical weeks are perceived. The mount reward seems hella lazy though, a simple recolour. Let's see some worth while rewards that reflect the effort of the players ie. transmogs, new mounts. One reward I would personally like to see for the highest reward is a TR realm style keymaker, where teams could practice pulls/dungeons and it would just not count towards their score, but may set the up for a good push on certain weeks.
All this because I was tired of getting badly geared players in my Naxx 25 runs. I feel like as I look at this mess, I created a monster. I honestly feel that the real challenge would be in a challenge mode setting, where ilvl is ALL dropped like in Pandaria, and the fast you do it, the more points you can obtain. Pandaria challenge modes were really fun and actually challenging. Not sure why we can't just go back to an equilibrium of item levels just to really see who is the most skilled/resourceful at timing runs. Then we'd see seconds counting at the top tier and I feel it would yield some very interesting results.
So now we have to do twice as much. Why? Who asked for this?
Yeah bringing back Challenge Modes would be a nice idea.Also this time normalize the ilvl both ways for CM, as one issue with the old system (which M+ doesn't really have, except I suppose for weapons for physical damage classes) was that ilvl was capped per item, so rather than having an average ilvl appropriate for CMs you had to have every single item at the right level (a frustration creator when you consider that the average player tends to have at least an item or two well below their ilvl average due to "can't upgrade that one slot" RNG).Thing is, that would be fun, though. And Blizzard seems to have decided there's some good reason they don't want the game to be fun anymore outside the pro gamer set. The rest of us are apparently expected to obtain fun by paying to get carried, or vicariously through watching better players on stream. *rolls eyes*
Its very good change, it ll make all people who shouldn't get a mount struggle more getting it. It ll be less frequently creating ppl who got their scores by pure luck.
This is not good at all. Blizzard fears lack of engagement in every single aspects of the game, therefore they add stupid things to create engagement. This is a stupid change for KSM because doing 15s with PuG is already cancer doing it twice is more cancer. Blizzard please remove this crap Tyrannical requirement from KSM
Gotta love the recolored mount, what a meme. You can't make this #$%^ up. Only uniques exist in the shop these days it seems. You pay a sub and it's not enough and even then, what exactly does the cost of a sub cover? The servers fall apart at the slightest hint of players gathering in zones. They're nickel and diming us at this point, and for what? More work to do for a lazy recolored mount.

If so wouldn't you just do 16s and not worry about the timer? Does it really mean you could get this without ever actually timing a dungeon?
This is such a waste of time. Having to run twice the number of dungeons to get the rating required for keystone master is NOT fun...All this just for a reskinned mount from season 1 keystone master, lmao.... Blizzard is out of their damn minds.
Oh well, guess I’m finally done with WoW. Been casual for a long time and my goals for S4 BFA and S1 Shadowlands were to get the M+ mount with a view to continue aiming for the KSM mount, but I don’t have the time to invest in this new system. /DisappointedI can see why blizzard have done it though and wish every one who does chase KSM SL S2 the best of luck <3

The fix for this is SO easy, make a 4th tier of achievement. I don't know if they just don't think or what. There's 4 levels of difficulty for raiding, why not 4 levels for mythic+. Maybe they consider Heroic, or Mythic to be that lowest 4th level, however the game progression is centered around rewards. I can get better rewards from world quests than mythic 0.
if they want people to play during Tyrannical . just remove bad affix from it like bolstering ,necrotic and explosives ''nerf is fine but still its a stupid affix considering the amount of damage lost to focus them during a boss fight and their spawning places''... just remove those 3 affix or even copy fort. weeks affixs and make them on tyrannical weeks might make it playable.
Too many people whining about the new KSM requirements. I much prefer this way, the only drawback is more gold paid out for people who can't do it themselves
Honestly, seeing how many people are completing mid-level keys on a tyrannical week with S1 gear, KSM is gonna be very, very easy to get even for casual gamers like me.
It seems like this isn't exactly true? Today I earned my mount and acheive but only had fort AND tyrannical timed at 15 for two dungeons. All other 6 dungeons were timed at 15 on either one but not both. I did +2 a lot of them so I guess that's why? I thought I had a lot more work ahead of me though.
Was so sad when I finally finished timing all of the dungeons on +15 today only to find out I'll have to do most of them again in order to get the achievement. Ugh. Oh well. I did it all on Tyrannical so at least Fortified shouldn't be so bad going forward.
