Me and a couple friends were trying to 3-man Kalendris for the Mindtap Talisman, and after a few runs he dropped Foror's Compendium of Dragon SlayingOnly downside was he never did drop that Talisman :(
Clearing Kharazan for the first time, not only loads of fun but felt like an accomplishment at the time.
For me, my epic loot was the Thunder, yes the Blacksmithing Two-Handed Mace. It took me days and days to farm the mats to make it. Then finally I had all that i needed to make it, after that I never put it down until my second quest in Northrend which gave me a Mace that blew it out of the water....still worth it though.
This is a true and illustrated story about my character Cid.We reached Ragnaros in the Molten Core. Cid was going to kill this fiery loser, even if it meant wearing a ridiculous fire resist turban.Screenshot 1: A challenger appears! There were many failed attempts, and unsafe quantities of Deviate Fish were consumed for their delicious rapid-cast buff. The night before Ragnaros went down, we had an extremely close fight:Screenshot 2: It doesn't get any closer than this.Clearly we had him, after such a depressing, yet exciting wipe. We doused Ragnaros' flaming butt during the next raid. It was incredible to finally see his elaborate death animation, as his giant hammer spiraled through the air before plunging into the lava pit where he once stood.Screenshot 3: The raid is victorious!Cid and his allies had traveled a long and unforgiving road, but they persevered and reached their destination as champions of the Molten Core.Screenshot 4: Cid basks in the glory of the kill.
long ago,i, an undead warrior, once thought having a Staff of Conjuring would be the coolest thing ever. so i got it. then i rocked out some frayed robes and gloves and just wait for a noobie to ask me to make them some food! Every warrior's dream.
After nearly a month of attempts on Lady V in SSC, and having got all my other pieces of T5, Oh how sweet it was to finally see those beautiful words pop across my screen: "Lady Vashj has been defeated." And behold! To the victor go the spoils.
Silly as it is one of my favorite moments was crafting my hat of wintery doom. I was stuck wearing spellstrike hood for 2 years because I'm in a casual guild and the helm from Malacrass never would drop so I was stuck wearing that set forever. When I hit 80 I was so excited to go back to my bank and put on a hat I could stand to turn on the graphic for. That it takes me back to the days of wearing the pimp hat from dead strat.
My most epic moment in WoW was when my 5s where together and we played this one game. It got down to our Booooomkin and there holy pally...The holy pally had a ton of Mp5 so the 4 of us where just kinda siting there and watching them fight it out while this pally was not running out of mana. Our boomkin got him down to 20% a few times and even a 10% once but he just kept surviving thought good healing and multi bubbles. Before we knew it 3 and 1/2 hrs went by while we where watching and talking on vent. Eventually some of there dude's made toons on our server and started telling us to quit because they where not about to. And we said that our booomkin would never quit and made up a cool fake story about how he was a Crazy awesome Vietnam war vet who had 1 arm blown off during the war and only played with 1 hand and had a mouse with like 20 buttons...I actually think they bought it...But anyways the fight dragged on and we decided it was never going to end so we asked them to rez me (another holy pally) so i could rez my team and they could rez there team and we could start the match over again fairly. After about 20 min of arguing and saying very mean things they agreed and we rezded up our teams and it started and we whooped there butts and did not loose a single guy. I really wish i had that flag to plant in there bodies after that 4+ hour match because they got OWNED.
When WoW santa gave me a present :D it was the happiest day of my wow life
