Swift Zulian Tiger all the way :PI won it out of the whole raid rolling on it... pretty epic if you ask me >_>
Definately my 1337 Protodrake off heroic UP
I would have to say my very most epic "drop" was my merciless gladiator wand. Took me ages to finally figure out how to pvp on my priest and when i finally did, it still took even longer to get enough arena points for the wand. Even though i now have a new, better wand (WotLK blue QQ) I still keep it in my bank as a reminder of all the time i put in to getting it. Even though there's newer and better wands now, It still is the best thing i have ever gotten. :)
The most EPIC lewt i have ever gotten is Blessed Tunic of Undead Slaying. This drop is a rare chance out of 4, 4 piece, amour sets that only drop from the mobs during the Pre WOTLK events. The reason it is so epic for me is because i was only level 63 at the time this dropped, and i could not kill any of the monsters, so i had a friend group me, with 3 others as well. This dropped out of the 12 other possibilities, and a low drop rate, it was leather! and i was the only rogue in the group, so i was able to keep it. i was very lucky, and now i have a rare epic that got me through the first half of level 70 in northrend.
I say gorehowl was probably the most epic thing for me. I had watched Gromm's battle right before the kara raid and was pumped up with Gromm fury then seeing that axe drop was just an amazing feeling. seeing such an amazing axe of the horde.
Most epic moment in WoW for me...Would probably have to be when i FINALLY got my Ice Barbed spear at 60. I was on the realm Skullcrusher with a good RL friend of mine and we where doing some AV to try to actuly win one...you guys know back in the days where 1 AV took at least 6 hrs and the allys never really won a match because we could never ever work together. After about a week of straight loosing the match's we decided we had enough of the alliances bull&*!@ and we would actually try to steer them t words victory so i got the lead of the raid and made special groups and we just kept yelling at them to follow our orders and after about 10 min they actually started listening...and i was just like my god...the allys are listening! So after about 20 min the battle was seriously turning in our favor and we made it to frostwolf GY and was pushing the horde back. But sadly i needed to go afk for a min because nature called and i couldn't hold it....And i could have sworn it did not last more than a minute but when i came back i was AFK with the deserter Debuff and i was %^&*ED..and my friend managed to hold the alliance in check and actually managed a victory t words the horde and that was completely unheard of at the time getting the alliance to work together and all. But i had no proof of it since i had the damned Deserters debuff. After another angering 3 days of AV i was able to FINALLY win a damned match and get my Spear....It was probably one of if not the best victory ever. Not just because it took me forever or all the horde that i chopped though trying to win..But because i would never have to do a AV ever again...Plus i was exulted by then anyways ><. Until TBC (about a year later) i never did another AV. And i believe somewhere in the endless crap in my bank i still have that spear..
my most epic drop was a weird day for me. I was about level 67 and was questing and grinding in blades edge mountions, and i got a rare epic pattern off a random mob. It was pretty funny cause these guys wouldn't stop agro'ing me. After killing about 20 more of them then I pulled, the last one i looted droped it. To make things better, i got 2 more epics from lock boxes i had in my bank for about two months. All in all, has to be one of my best days in WoW
My most Epic experience in WoW was back in the Original World of Warcraft. The guild i was in was small so we couldn't do 40 man raids, but we had some great players and got the Dungeon 2 Armor sets for several of our members even though we only had Blues and maybe a couple epics from rare drops or crafting. I had the entire Heroism Set for my Warrior and was working on it for my warlock alt. We had done every quest up to the one to get your Upgrades, only thing was i didn't have my Shoulders or Pants! The Burning Crusade was getting closer and closer and i was beginning to lose hope, especially after about 6 hours straight of Jandice runs in Scholo with about 11 kills and no shoulders... Then, on the night before the expansion comes out, i'm going to do a Baron run with my guildies when lo and behold! The Legs drop! So beyond all hope I get our group to go do Scholo and we go to Jandice, (who most people skipped anyway) and OMG the Shoulders dropped too! And so i get my Six pieces of Deathmist right before the expansion. That was pretty epic that i was able to get my Deathmist Mantle, which looked AWESOME on my Orcish warlock, but then the next day, in Outland, i get a random green drop... Laughing Skull Shoulderpads of the Sorcerer, wich is 24 Stam 16 Int and 19 Spell Damage. Please, compare the way those look to the Deathmist Mantle on a Male Orc... So my most Epic Experience in WoW was closely followed by the most Epic Fail in WoW.
My best loot may be insignificant to some, but it was the Twisted Chanters Staff that I got from the Leper Gnomes outside of Gnomergan. I was on my first character, a Blood Elf Warlock and was waiting for the rest of my group to get there, and it dropped. Thinking this was my second blue, my first being a Blue Belt off of a Hillsbrad farmer, I thought that if it was better equip it. Well, I was I think about level 36 at the time, on a quest that had a great staff reward and I equipped the level 19 twink staff worth over 200g on my realm. I look back now and Wonder what that money would have done for my character. But that was my biggest mistake, and also my funniest memory from playing WoW. And in this case, my best item.
My first piece of epic was thanks to WotLK... I just recently started playing wow with my gf, we have been leveling together and just last week hit 60. So after taking a break from the hardcore push to 60 we made death knights together. Experienced the epic quest line for the first couple levels. Receiving all the pieces of starter epic gear for DK and getting the sweet epic 2h weapons for the finally was my greatest epic moment. First time we got our own purple armor on any of our characters.
My first epic world drop: I was in a PuG Kara about 6 months ago, and, being a PuG, we were horrible. Seriously. Horrible. After the 5th wipe on Illhoof (yeah, Illhoof - with pallies and warlocks) everyone was leaving. Myself and four others who I had known from before that raid were screwing around in Kara after the others had left, killing random mobs so one of them could turn in one of the quests in the nightbane's urn line. Anyway, we were just clearing trash, with the 4 or 5 of us, and what should I see pop up in my roll pane, but The Ancient Scepter of Sue-Min! Yeah. I was still using a quest blue wield, and none of the others realized that it was BoE, apparently. It still looks so awesome... a shame it got more or less replaced by a lv71 quest reward the other day :/
