The blue one is the dracthyr starting set, I believe.
I personally don't think armor is worth making anymore if important components are just painted onto the character. Having a raised texture on the chest/gloves/boots would make this set pop so much more. That said, some people like the simple painted on style so, hope they enjoy.
"Black" one isn't really black, same as the wings from epic edition, it's like they don't want to really ackownledge this flight
So dracthyrs can be other visage races now? Sweet!
Set looks pretty good on belf models
Sorry is this supposed to be some kind of interesting thing to feel good about, to offset the immense disappointment a massive amount of players felt over the soar nerf? Like I literally don't care about this crap. It looks dumb. Can only be used in visage form. Wow. Another dumb thing about the Derpthyr. Race is lame. Let's see warlock and DH talents instead since races that can be them still have their race identity fantasy relatively intact.
Honestly these sets are pretty disappointing. I know it's low-level gear and shouldn't look like a Mythic raid tier set, but surely we can stop having all this painted-on armor that looks like it came from a PS1 game. The worst part is only the shoulders and belt will display on Dracthyr in dragon form...but not the 2D parts. So you have some decent-looking shoulders, but your belt is just this buckle with a dangly cloth bit on it and nothing else. Makes it look like a modesty sock. This means aside from the Evoker tier set (which is supposedly being made to display fully on both models, not just Visage form) most belts in the game will look inferior to the cosmetic ones that can be applied in the barbershop. Because belt tech has only really "evolved" in the sense that the art team can now take a painted-on 2D belt and add increasingly elaborate buckles to it to create the optical illusion that the belt is a whole item.Meanwhile the barbershop offers 3-4 different options for belts in dragon form that are fully 3D and not just painted on under a 3D buckle. I'm starting to think Dracthyr shouldn't display any gear in dragon form and should only show it in Visage form, because there's not gonna be anything worth displaying in the belt, shoulder, and tabard slots with their barbershop armor making it look bad by comparison or outright covering it up. I've come up with a transmog that I like for my Visage form, but I don't want any of it displaying in dragon form because it's just going to ruin the look of the barbershop armor I've already selected.
Those boots look ridiculous. Its 2022, Blizz need to up their game in regards to armour models.
Like everything with Dragonflight so far, this looks horrid.
Lazy, boring, and uninspired, like most of the Dragonflight armor
I feel like the basic design is because only the shoulders, belt and helm will display on the Dracthyr unless they're in visage form
These are fairly solid. Rare that you get mail boots that aren't entirely busted.
These legs are famous in mail and leather items.
