Or how about this: weekly buffed class/spec rotationEach week, one class gets 10% bonus dps, and one of the specs get an additional 5% bonus.
destro lock should be nerfed... Like 40% of damage dealt by pets, without lock doing anything. Like in guild, we have an annoying person bragging with her lock, that everybody is bad, umm, lock pets do not benefit from dh buff, half of locks abilities dont benefit from dh buff, locks dirrect abilities dont benefit from monk buff. And average dps is 1.5k higher then second closest spec, highest dps is 3k higher than second highest spec.
They design the game to be a rollercoaster for classes with each spec getting the spot in the limelight and on the bottom every now and then. They just draw straws while rolling the dice every expansion and patch and buff/nerf accordingly. Any discussion and debate on "balance" is erroneous from the onset when they're not actively trying in the first place and accept things as they are as long as top and bottom performers are within 10-15% of each other. Any whining they get on the issue is subsequently chalked up to 'gitgut' when their own spreadsheets don't show the same disparity in performance. This happens every expansion every patch. If your spec's been left to dry for a while take heart in the fact that your turn as top spec approaches...
Definitely intentional at this point. Making you mainswap mid-tier or between tiers just to be able to play brings in massive profits from wow tokens and extended play time (subscription money).
Coming from someone who is not in the top % here. I've played mplus since it was implemented, and I usually stay in the span of 15-17 keys. And I've never seen something like the current meta from what I can remember. The sheer domination of destruction and survival is absolutely ridicilous. It makes other (good!) classes and specs look bad because there simply is no time to ramp up damage when these two specs continously delete every pack, tyrranical week is stupid. I gave up on my DPS classes for the season because it simply isn't fun when it feels like I can never show what I can do.IMO doing a dungeon without those two specs simply is more enjoyable. More classes get to show what they can do and it makes it more interesting for me as a healer. Balance in general feels good tho. In the span of keys I do I see most specs occasionally with the exception of like feral, outlaw and arms. And on that note, it's BS that you can only get into keys and get a weekly 15 done as warlock/hunter. Very few groups I'm in has both of those classes, and like I said I see all variety of DPS.I don't think a lot of people realise the extreme competition for the DPS spots. My best character is my priest on ~2,3k rating I think and just above 270 ilvl. If I want to do a 15 I can basically just pick whatever I like, I'll get an invite in less than 5 minutes, even if I'm picky. I got into a 15 on my resto druid with like 700 rating and 245 ilvl, it can be hard to find solo healers. There are SO MANY DPS players. A lot of the time you get a healer who isn't a shaman which means at least one of your 3 DPS slots is reserved for a BL. If you are a non-mage/shaman each listing only has TWO possible slots for you. The fact that you can't find a group has absolutely nothing to do with class balance it's just scarcity of available slots in an endless sea of DPS with 270+ ilvl and purple rating. The best strategy will always be to play your own keys or try and team up with a tank or healer.
All these dps posts..the healer imbalance is just as bad…look at the orange board..I mean healing leaderboard. Whoever thought that having a night fae resto Druid that OP with such a simple play style was a good idea is beyond me ..the one min raid throughout CD goes BRRR..and it’s NEVER addressed
