Wow, you got me all excited for sod tweaks for no reason, what a waste of a classic wowhead update. #whenisphase4
I dont think SoD has a chance anymore. Too many ppl gave up on it already, we used to have 6 raids for gnomeregan in our guild, now we struggle to find 20 ppl for ST. I dont think ppl will come back for p4 unless they really do something about the meme they created, which is called wpvp, where lvl 50 classes do double the damage of lvl 60 charactes in classic vanilla, while they have 1k less life and dots can crit for 800.
SoD has quickly snowballed into something that seems like it requires more attention than Blizzard is willing to give it.
People thought we would get Classic +I said we get Retail -This is starting to look a whooooole lot like Retail -
Increase trash group size to 8+, but less groups of mobs between bosses. Trash should have roles, too. Some should be healers, some be tanks that causes nearby allies to take reduced damage, some are melee that debuff enemies, some are casters that could augment nearby allies, and some are ranged that could control enemies.Sunken Temple had two types of mobs (for the most part): dragonkin and humanoid/undead. Dragonkin had 2 types: ones that spat and sometimes feared, and ones that melee. Nothing special. Now, the undead/humanoid trolls had several types that made the trash a little more fun until you pulled a group of all the same types. Expand on the variety. As for the elementals... they don't do jack. Don't add trash that doesn't do anything.I would also like to see ALL instances become 5-man. Raids aren't as fun as they used to be. And it's more difficult to find 20 people to join a raid. Many people are elitist that everyone must have orange parses, or they need a specific raid setup or nothing at all. Maybe a class or spec is super popular, but you don't want to hinder that player from enjoying the game. If there were 5 mans then that player playing an overly played class would have a better chance at finding a group.
