Book = no.Expantion = PossibilityPatch = No, as hundreds of people have said, they dont TM Patches..i believe it could possibly be a expantion, but i also believe they could be trying to mislead everyone, after cataclysm being figured out months before planned simply from registering it. Well, i reckon a shared faction race, like.. a Hero Race kinda thing would work, you make a pandaren, do the starter zone, then talk to a human or an orc to become alliance / horde at the end. You never know, with 1 less race to make, they might acually manage to finish the damn expantion before they release it!

I'm excited for a possible lost city shrouded and guarded by mist (or a great wall?), asian themed zones, mobs, mounts, characters, weapons, a healing hero class taught by Pandarem monks, a mysterious villain that's threatened Pandaria to the point that they reveal themselves to Azeroth and want to impart their mystic healing powers...blizz's dev team could run wild. Who knows what lore-related storylines could expand by the treasures on a continent never explored or imagined. It's amazing that people would hate this. Maybe the mist is even something spawned from an old god within the Emerald Dream, threatening to blanket Azeroth (there's your foreboding reason behind the title), a mist that corrupts the balance of life? Naga invasions? Since Pandarem were once close allies with Night Elves, there's no telling where the story could lead...Titans (who developed the emerald dream as a failed Azeroth)? Furbolgs? Who knows? I'm crossing my fingers that this is the next expansion. Seriously.
But then, your intelligence is above that of the ordinary mindless gamer, Adams ^^Seriously though - like AlliesUnite said - I don't really see how people can be hating on something that hasn't even been confirmed as an expansion yet. For the lore junkies, there are many logical (or near-logical) connections to be made between Pandaria and its peoples and the rest of Azeroth. The Burning Legion could be invading. I suppose people want all Fire and Brimstone expansions - and I guess it's fine to feel that way, but I don't see why we can't have an expansion with an enemy not threatening to kill everything and everyone.
i would actually like the next expantion to be about entering "the forbidden place from which 1/3 of wow quests are based on since vanilla" (the emerald dream) rather than "another randomly ressurected evil dude" (cataclysm).
Not a chance it will be an expansion. Little chance it will actually make it into the game as a patch. Pandarin are not canon, have never been canon. There is no lore to support them. There is nothing to drive dynamic content that would justify the effort of a patch, much less an entire expansion.
Is it really that hard to read through the thread before posting? Since people have been linking the Pandaren information off of both Wowwiki and Wowpedia all through the topic....
