Since they seem to be playing it safe this expansion when it comes to gameplay, it might simply be a case of them not having to need as much development time as usual. They might also be rushing it.Whatever the case - if they can do it, great, I'm excited! If they can't? I'll just unsub again, lol. This is not a big deal.
Blizz can’t win. If they said June 2023 players would riot. They give us a surprise in 2022 and players still riot. No wonder they can’t design something good, people can’t even decide what they want.
Yeah, no. Blizzard has a history of delivering expansions that are badly planned. They either delivered the expansion bare and left us for 2 months with just grinding m0 and reputation or just too bare overall. In the best case scenario, they have things rolling and they will launch it bare but 2 months down the line they will release the first raid, roll out balance issues that I am convinced there will be and as they taught us over the years, the losers will be the ones playing the game before the last patch of the expansion in which case the game is worth playing only 3 months (at best) every 2 years.
Can I point out that it is currently June, meaning we are given a nearly 6 month time frame for dragon flights release? I’m not an expert in any way, but I would think even only 4 months would be plenty of time to release the game for testing, getting feedback, maybe even do another round of testing, have time for pre-patch shenanigans, and polish up some other problems in game. Dragon flight isn’t releasing tomorrow, it’s not releasing next week or month. Blizzard has a few months for something that already looked to have been worked on for a while, so I think we can calm down a little bit. Especially considering the next patch is just a redo of the entire expansion, requiring some number changes and a couple systems to make it run smoothly rather than a whole new raid and zone. Maybe I’m just being too positive, but I think Blizzard has enough time to release a good version of dragon flight by then.
What sucks to me is... I've bought it. I'd buy nearly anything that Blizzard made! Even if I don't like it or want it, I'll still buy it.
Question: Is releasing Ursoc and an Emerald Dragon in the Heroic Editions a good or a bad thing? Just kinda feeling like this might be predictive of how the Green Dragonflight might not carry that big of a role in the expansion that this is more of an afterthought, kinda like the Shadowlands mount and pet. They were more showy even if the Brokers never really did anything.
