Comment by KelrasI main a gnome, and a third of my alts are gnomes too. I love gnomes, they are funny, silly, and quirky in a game that has mostly devolved into a pointless he-said-she-said race war cycle.

That being said, please please PLEASE let these be an NPC race only. The Alliance already HAS gnomes. We dont need another race of gnomes that ends up being completely identical to the one we already have. These aren't mechagnomes - we met mechagnomes before, and they were tiny, vaguely gnome-shaped robots. These are regular gnomes that replaced their arms and legs with pieces of junk. That's not an allied race, thats the same race we already got with a very minor customization option that will end up invisible once you put on armor.

And that's why this scares me so much. The Alliance sadly has a history of getting the same old races that are already available, just with a palette swap. Most of which had to be made up on the spot for that very opportunity.
