This was not working yesterday on me.

I reached 10 stacks but I cannot see the damage of the trinket on logs.

not sure what's going on.

This trinket is really weird, sometimes when it's meant to shockwave whenever you use your abilities on the target closest to you but it sometimes just doesn't want to splash behind the enemies, a good example is algethar academy I did the 3 big packs near tree boss trinket reached 10 stacks I look closely who's closest to me but it only deals it to the target im hitting, should it be all targets being hit when having the trinket procced ? and then I have good rng whenever I do some other pulls and it does 1M damage, it's a unique trinket.

I was a bit skeptical about this trinket, thinking it was merely a neat toy that may be a weaker replacement for the Windscar Whetstone I just can't seem to get. Turns out I may not need the latter anymore! This trinket sims significantly higher for cleave, although I'm unsure how much of that is due to the sim counting all targets at being max health. As a Ret Pally, in current gear simming on "hectic add cleave" with equal ilvl trinkets, the Ruby sims at ~118.5k while the Whetstone sims at ~114k. This may also be due to getting more raw damage out of the strength it provides as opposed to the haste I don't get as much benefit from with the Whetstone.

Its damage is similarly uncapped AoE, and in testing does not appear to have a soft cap (or if it does, it's for each one of the three hits it generates). I was able to do 1.12M damage to a swarm of 10 gnolls in Brackenhide off the trinket alone.

As for how it functions, the stacking attack power buff lasts for a generous 5 minutes, so it won't wear between pulls. Upon reaching 10 stacks you receive a separate buff of 3 stacks with the same icon that indicates your next attacks do the cleave, and once they deplete, so too do the 10 stacks of attack power. The separate, 3-stack buff does not have any duration and can only be lost by using the charges or canceling them.

The stacking proc appears to occur about as much, if slightly less, on single target. Overall, I see it reach 10 stacks in under 2 minutes on average, as quickly as just over 1 minute. As a result, it does surprisingly well in single target despite simming almost 1k lower than my alleged BiS trinket, Blazebinder's Hoof.

Tested this trinket on single target vs cleave dummies. Single target does about half the damage compared to my other trinkets, Spiteful Storm and Manic Grieftorch (both 398 while Rumbling Ruby is 402). My Details showed it at 833 DPS compared to 1.6k for the other 2.
However, this trinket really shines on the cleave dummies doing twice as much damage as the other 2. It takes about a minute to build to 10 stacks. The buff lasts until it procs at 10 stacks or 5 minutes. My Details showed it at 4k DPS again compared to 1.6 and 2 K dps respectively for the other 2.
