As of 9/22/22, this item can be purchased from Mimzy, an NPC standing between the profession trainer, Associate Professor Instrutaur, and the cooking/fishing instructor, Firelord Nomi (yes, he's just as annoying as before).

I had the most success farming Rousing Frost from killing Steam Reavers (no NPC link available at this time) in the hot springs to the east of the Obsidian Bulwark in The Waking Shores. They dropped Rousing Frost in multiple stacks, from about one in every four mobs.

Had this drop as a secondary gather from a Frigid Hochenblume. I'd assume it can therefore also drop from other frigid herb nodes.

I tried farming these in the Ohn'aran Springs in the south center of the Plains, at about 55.6 77.2. The respawns aren't very quick and as tempting as the elite looks, it's not really worth doing because it doesn't seem to drop them any more frequently than the normal mobs. But if you need both frost and air, this is a great place to farm up both at once.

Combine one button macro:

#showtooltip
/use rousing order
/use rousing decay
/use rousing air
/use rousing earth
/use rousing fire
/use rousing frost
/use rousing ire

This will simultaneously convert 10 rousings into 1 awakened for each rousing you have at least 10 of. If you don’t select an image for the macro, the tooltip should be the rousing that is highest in the list with qty in your bags. If you want it to be a specific one just put it after the tooltip like:

#showtooltip rousing order

Want to do the opposite?

/use awakened decay
/use awakened air
/use awakened earth
/use awakened fire
/use awakened frost

Both of these stack to 1000 so this won’t really help save bag space unless you just keep them all stored as rousings.

This is small information where and fast get Wildercloth and Tattered Wildercloth main materials using for tailoring, as well spot with Rousing Fire and Rousing Frost.

You need A lot of Wildercloth to make Wildercloth Bolt but that You need to make Infurious Wildercloth Bolt, Vibrant Wildercloth Bolt, Chronocloth Bolt and Azureweave Bolt.

In shor time You can get a lot of materials.

How to do 2x4 party in spoiler:

First go on spot wher you want to do 2x4 farm. Spots:
24.6 58.1 In Basement
28.3 58.8
25 56 in Basement
Then Create party in LRG call "2x4 Key Basement WMoff gr1"

When You get to 5 please give someone who know that He need to keep max 4 please in party.

Then open new party call it "2x4 Key Basement WMoff gr2"

No just keep 4 people in 2 party

Mobs will start spawn much faster and farm will go faster to.

these can drop from rotten rimefin tuna. they have dropped for me at a pretty decent rate from opening them, and considering how easy it is to fish up massive piles of frosted rimefin tuna from the ice holes on the lake, if you're willing to fish, break off the ice, and wait for them to rot, you can rack up a pretty decent amount of rousing frost and rousing decay without endlessly grinding mobs with low drop rates.

I was looking to farm these for jewelcrafting and I found the best luck at the delta south of the Wingrest Embassy killing Rampaging Water. While the drop rate still sucks unlike other areas I was getting 2-3 when they did drop opposed to one at other areas. There also seem to be more mobs so not a much time waiting for them to respawn.

Near Forkriver Crossing in Ohn'ahran Plains there's a great place where you can kill Hissing Springsoul and Sulfuric Rager for both frost and air.

The Calving Elementals just near camp Antonidas are hyperspawning mobs, so you can farm here without downtime, you can find them around that small icy lake. There is also a large quest mob at the exact location with more HP than the rest of the mobs. It can also drop Rousing Frost, so you can just AoE it down with the rest of them.

Having farmed this today. I got the most success from Hissing Springsoul in the Ohn'ahran Plains. The drop rate is low but they do drop between 1 and 3 at a time and respawn is pretty quick. I farmed for an hour and got 43 Rousing Frost.
