interact with Noxious Moth /way 48,5, 31,1 Noxious Moth
use the Extra Button that will appear Baiting on Shardhide Growler
move to the tree with the treasure /way 47,6, 29,2 tree
open the treasure /way 47,3, 29,2 Dislodged Nest

Rewards: Silver Shardhide Whistle.

After use the toy you will receive the buff Spirit of Ka-Sha per 2 minutes.
This buffs grants you a fast mount. Sometimes fast, sometimes less fast.

Dislodged Nest is located in Korthia zone Mauler's Outlook subzone.

Find Noxious Moth in the area on the ground or near the trees.
It gives Baiting buff for 5 mins on pick up.
Can spawn randomly in multiple locations.

/way 47.32 26.41 Noxious Moth 3
Use extra action button Baiting on a nearby bear. You will mount this bear.
After getting the bear mount run into the tree and the Precarious Silk Nest will drop on the ground.

Can drop Korthite Crystal and Silver Shardhide Whistle

Treasure is a part of Treasures of Korthia achievement.

This is an awesome item for moving fast through some parts of Shadowlands.

~~Just be careful not to use it while you are on Grand Expedition Yak (possibly bugged with other mounts that have NPCs) or shapeshifted like in Soulshape~~ or it will go on CD but will not give you any buff and you will get a generic error:
"Cannot use that while in shapeshift form". (Seems to be fixed as of the newest update)

Dislodged Nest is located on a tree in the area of the Mauler's Outlook.

Find an Noxious Moth in the nearby area and click on it to get the buff Baiting for five minutes.

Find an Shardhide Growler and click on it, then click on the Extra Action button.

Now you should be sitting on the Shardhide Growler. Now run into the tree with the nest, which will fall to the ground.

If you use Crusader Aura and Divine Steed while on the Ka-Sha Bear, you gain an insane 520% Movement Speed. Of course, you can still blink with Soulshape while on the Steed...

You can be dazed and dismounted even when using Comfortable Rider's Barding. However characters in tank spec should still be safe.

Well, I'm going to add a bit to this and give a little more detail, but since it won't make sense if I just make random comments some of this will repeat what others have said in other posts.

If you've seen someone running around on a super fast, ghost looking shardhide and they have the buff Spirit of Ka-Sha, then you are in the right place to find out what is going on! The super fast mount comes from a toy called Silver Shardhide Whistle. The toy comes from a treasure called Dislodged Nest.

Now, here is the confusing part. If you don't use addons or know this exists, then you might not realize that it's not called Dislodged Nest in Korthia. It starts out being called Precarious Silk Nest, but there is no page for that for some reason right now. It is in a tree in Mauler's Outlook. The approximate coordinates for people that use them is 47.5, 29.2.

In order to get the nest down, you have to find a noxious moth (look for the sparkly moths around the area and sometimes in that little cave nearby). You get an action button that pops up called Baiting. You need to find a Shardhide Alpha and use Baiting on it. This will actually cause you to ride the Shardhide Alpha. You need to steer it toward that tree and run right into it. The Precarious Silk Nest drops and THEN becomes the Dislodged Nest.

When you pick it up, you get some loot. I received some relic items, a gray item, and the Silver Shardhide Whistle. The whistle can be used as a super fast mount called Spirit of Ka-Sha. We've seen previous items that you can use to get quickly across a zone and although this is similar... this one is a toy! (Thank goodness because I don't need more items clogging up my bag space.)

The Silver Shardhide Whistle has a five minute cooldown on it. I've used this a couple of times. On use, it gives you a 2 minute "mount" that you can use. The first 20 seconds give you a huge boost in speed, but then the Spirit of Ka-Sha gets tired and for the rest of the 2 minutes it runs slow. If you want to stop riding it when it is slow, just click off the buff at the top that tells you it is the Spirit of Ka-Sha - Sometimes fast, sometimes less fast. That will get rid of the slower speed buff.

The item is usable in all of Shadowlands and yes, I tried using it in Oribos and it works there!

Helpful tip.

To save yourself a few valuable seconds while you're beelining it to the next rare, you can click off the Spirit of Ka-Sha buff before it expires, which prevents you from gaining the slower Spirit of Ka-Sha buff, allowing Spirit of Ka-Sha to continue at normal mount speed instead of having to dismount and re-mount your normal mount.

Also, if you jump off a cliff while it's still moving at full speed, you can pop a slow fall and you will still move at that speed and be safe from fall damage.

I've probably seen this toy being used 3 or 4 times. It's mind boggling to me, it's so absurdly useful on Korthia that I cannot imagine playing without it now. The number of times I've made it to a rare with 5% or less HP remaining are too many to remember. Maybe other people are just not as impatient as me, because I use this thing all the time just to reach areas faster and always get a laugh at how many other players I pass. Hell I even use it at the Ardenweald mission table to go inside the Heart of the Forest. Sometimes the buff stays active inside there long enough to reach the portal to Oribos super fast lol.

I have created a single 'Emergency Speed' button that I find very useful. It does the following two things:

1) uses the Silver Shardhide Whistle when you are outdoors
2) uses a speed potion of your choice when you are indoors

Just create a macro as follows:

You can replace "Potion of the Psychopomp's Speed" with whatever potion you are using.

But I guess that's par for the course with current-era Blizzard. Old references are long gone...
