Obtained this mount today. To obtain you'll have to gather 6x Razorwing Egg and deliver them to the nest from where they came. The Eggs are dropped by gorgers, scavengers and worldeaters. These mobs can be found at 37.8, 48.8 and 54.80, 20.34 with the latter being my favorite place to farm. Keep in mind that the animites doesn't drop the eggs, so no reason to kill these when farming. The eggs are NOT unique, and you can gather all 6 before turning them in to the nest. The nest is located at 25.58, 51.17, and a Duskwing Matriarch friendly NPC will be hovering above the nest. When placing the first egg in the nest, a nestguardian will spawn and attack you, this is a normal mob and everyone should be able to kill it. the next 4 eggs placed will trigger a "A cry of gratitude rings out from above." in the chat for you. Upon placing the 6th egg the Duskwing Matriarch will descend to you and you'll see "The Duskwing Matriarch roars and gives you a gift in thanks.", and this is where you recieve your mount.

This is NOT bugged.

You need to hand in 10 Lost Razorwing Egg. You can obtain ONLY 2 Lost Razorwing Egg a day - these have a higher drop rate from Ravenous Gorger, Nimble Scavenger, and Colossal Worldeater. Bring the 10 Lost Razorwing Egg to the Razorwing Nest.

You can bring 2 Lost Razorwing Egg a day or all 10 - it does not matter.

The 6 requirement and uncapped drop were ONLY for PTR. Hope this clears up the confusion and congrats on the Dusklight Razorwing!

I don't mind a little grinding, but if there's a limit to how many you can get per day, then it makes a low drop rate redundant.

Handed in the 6 eggs and it didn't descend to drop the mount. I feel scammed lol

Edit: 8 eggs and still no mount...

Fuq this. Since the start of the patch I started farming these eggs.
Today I dropped them and I had 6, gave them back and nothing. :)
It's probably a bug, I already reported it to blizzard but I feel terribly cheated. I already reported it to blizzard, but I feel awfully cheated, especially since I spent a lot of time doing it...

Check your mail for a second egg. I gave up after farming an hour. Checked my mail, and found my second egg there.

It is not bugged you have to turn in 10 Lost Razorwing Egg (Tracking Quest hidden tracking quest to track your progress for the eggs you've turned in) to get the Dusklight Razorwing mount.
Seems you could get 2 eggs per day.

I got my mount today. I can confirm it takes 10 eggs. Also, can't confirm but, I believe you can only ever get 10 eggs. I had apparently forgotten I turned in an egg on day 1, and today I was farming for hours bit it never dropped my 10th egg. So I think you can only ever have 10 eggs in total. So if you're having troubles farming, maybe you had forgotten you turned in a egg too.Try turning in some eggs and see if she spawns for you.

I had five eggs in my bag yesterday, logged in today; no eggs. Not sure if this is bugged, or if you have to turn them in weekly or lose them. frustrating.

So finally got my mount on the 14th egg turn in. Now the only thing I can speculate as to what caused this, if it wasn't some bug, is maybe, just maybe, you don't get credit while you are in a raid group. I know for a fact that I turned in at least 3 eggs in a raid, that I remember. It was at the end cause I wanted to see if I'd get the mount or not and if not, I'd go back and farm my 2nd egg. It would make sense if the mechanics of this acted like a quest.

My question would be simply has anyone else turned in eggs while in a raid and not gone past 10? Also, maybe drop raid group so that you don't potentially get boned. Hope this helps someone because I know the frustration of not knowing why it's going on and wanted to murder that dam Matriarch.

haven't got any eggs after my first 4 eggs for the first 2 days of the patch , am not farming devourers just killing them randomly from time to time maybe about 20 per day but i killed the devourer rare thing everyday which i heard should drop an egg 100% and still didn't get no more eggs

can confirm its not working in a raid, had 10 eggs but didnt get the mount cause i turned in 2 while i was in a raid. farmed another two and got the mount

You turn all 10 eggs to a clickable nest at: 25.58, 51.17 in Korthia. The eggs drop twice per day. Instead of farming them, I just did the dailies in the area that has the potential drops. It took around 4 weeks this way.

This took me a little longer than others to obtain because I chose to farm out the Lost Razorwing Egg 1 a day instead of 2 a day.

My experience: I had a hard time getting 2 eggs a day. The first would drop within 5 to 10 minutes but then hours after that I would still not get the second one, so I stuck with one a day as another post suggested. I hung on to all 10 eggs to turn in at once. It probably figures that on the last day, I easily got 2 eggs so I ended up with 11 eggs total, but I only needed to turn in 10. After the very first egg was turned in, I got attacked. I dealt with that then turned in the other 9 eggs (no spawns of mobs after the first turn in, though). There was a little time before the Dusklight Matriarch flies down from the side and lands in front of you... the mount just goes into your bags after that!

My addon said I could turn in daily or I could turn in all at once. I was testing to see if you could use multiple characters to turn in the lost razorwing eggs. No, that does not work. They all need to be turned in on the same character. You can turn them in, but the count (as of right now) is only on one character and not across the account. I made sure to turn them in slowly enough that any counter did not bug out. (We've seen too many bugs not to be careful at this point!) The lost razorwing eggs that were left over stayed in my bags even after logging out and after server reset. So, at this point I would say just destroy them once you have the mount. (There is a high chance that I will end up keeping mine for a while so if this changes I will come back and edit.)

Small Guide How to get Dusklight Razorwing Mount.

Step 1:

Collect 10 Lost Razorwing Egg they drop From monsters: Ravenous Gorger, Nimble Scavenger, Mindseize Controller or Konthrogz the Obliterator and Xyraxz the Unknowable.

Problem is that that maximum Drop for a day is 2 Lost Razorwing Egg. 1st egg is drop fast 2nd egg is taking more time for drop. Minimum number of days is 5.

You can do it in party or solo.

Step 2:

Go to Razorwing Nest 25 50 when you will have 10 Lost Razorwing Egg then press 10 times on Nest and Dusklight Matriarch will fly down. You will get Your Mount in bag :D.

Do not turn in the eggs, while you are in a raid group, you lose the eggs and dont get any credit!

To obtain this mount you need to get 10 Lost Razorwing Eggs, to get these eggs you will need to loot from Devourer mobs in Korthia. The drop chance of this egg is low from each mob. You can also kill the rares Wild World-cracker and Konthrogz the Obliterator which have a greater chance of dropping these eggs than regular devourer mobs. Now keep in mind that you are limited to only getting two eggs per day. Once you gather all 10 eggs you will need to turn them into the Razorwing Nest. This Nest is located here in Korthia, and once all the eggs are turned in to the Razorwing Nest, the Razorwing Matriarch will swoop down on you and offer herself as Dusklight Razorwing Mount.

Just based on first-hand experience the first egg you get each day will drop after only a few kills with a largely reduced drop chance for the second egg per day. I didn't bother grinding out 2 a day once I learned this, just one and done.

If you didn't get the mount before 9.2, progress seems to have been reset back to 0.

then when i just did the 5th one on my other characters...i got the mount.

I wouldn't recommend farming 2 eggs a day, the first egg seems to drop pretty quick from the devourers in the north but number 2 is a whole other thing. Just spend 20 mins each day getting the egg... If you don't get one, run away and do something else. You'll get pretty bored pretty quick otherwise.

Did this today. As of Dragonflight 2.5 You must place 10 eggs into the nest to get the mount. I originally did 6 eggs and it did not count. I farmed another 10 eggs and placed them into the nest and got the mount.
