Acquiring a Necklace of Dredbat Fangs completes the first in a series of exchanges needed to procure Preserved Berries. The Preserved Berries are used by members of the Venthyr Covenant to ensure the attendance of Aliothe, the Droman of Hibernal Hollow, at the next Ember Court via RSVP: Droman Aliothe.

UPDATE: With the 9.0.5 release, the Pristine Vulpine Pelt and Spiral Deathroc Horn are no longer required. Thanks to geodus for sharing!

The only thing this necklace of fangs is for is completing the quest RSVP: Droman Aliothe. Therefore, if you are not with the Venthyr, don't worry about picking this up.

For those who are Venthyr, it may be worthwhile to pick up some spare if and when they are available for mats you have plenty of spare of, because you need one every time you want to have Droman Aliothe at the party (or rather, you need the berries from the questline). So instead of being caught off-guard when it's asking for shanks, you'll have the berries available without having to spend the rarer or unavailable materials.

The Necklace of Dredbat Fangs can be bought from Ta'tru at the Night Market in Revendreth. The price for this changes every week. Laestrite Ore or Shadowy Shank is required. Required as a barter item for the quest RSVP: Droman Aliothe.

Below are all the stations and vendors you need to trade in:

Take the Quest RSVP: Droman Aliothe from Droman Aliothe in the Ardenweald in Hibernal Hollow. The big bear near the flight master.

To complete the quest you will need Preserved Berries, which is sold by Ta'ruca in Revendreth at the Night Market.
Go to the Night Market in Revendreth to Ta'tru, southwest of Darkhaven.

Buy a Necklace of Dredbat Fangs
- the price changes every week
- e.g. 20x Laestrite Ore or Shadowy Shank
- you can farm it yourself or buy it from the AH
After that fly to the Bastion and ride to the Transfer Station Ta, west of the Bastion.

Trade the Necklace of Dredbat Fangs for a Pristine Vulpine Pelt at Trader Ta'bix.
After that, fly to Oribos and go to the The Broker's Den, which is in the basement of "The Idyllia". It is the eastern entrance in the "Ring of Fates", the one with the beer mug above the entrance. Then go into the right or left room and through the door down the stairs.

Trade the Pristine Vulpine Pelt for a Aquamarine Cartel Chit at Ta'lan the Antiquary.
Then go back up to the "Ring of Fates" and turn left into the Hall of Curiosities.

Trade the Aquamarine Cartel Chit for a Teregeer Crystal at Acquirer Ta'gosh.
After that fly to Maldraxxus to the Challenger's Promenade, just east of the "Theater of Pain".

Trade the Teregeer Crystal for a Spiral Deathroc Horn at Au'larrynar.
After that fly back to the Night Market in Revendreth.
/way 51.11 78.56
Trade the Spiral Deathroc Horn for Preserved Berries at Ta'ruca.
Finally fly back to Droman Aliothe in the Ardenweald and complete the quest to get RSVP: Droman Aliothe.

Note: If you want to do the quest for the Ember Court more often you can buy several Preserved Berries.

I've been waiting months for the purchase price to be a relatively cheap material. Instead, it has had multiple repeats of one of the most expensive mats on my server. This is a very frustrating/expensive item to obtain.

today's material cost for this item is desolate leather. that is the easiest and cheapest material cost i have seen in a while. too bad these necklaces dont stack in bags. i would stock up big time if they did.

edit. its the same materials cost today, so maybe it will stay that way for the whole week? i am not sure. it could be a really good time to stock up on a few of these.
