I understand if there are no Alliance/Horde versions of these cloaks seperately, but I find something about this cloak quite silly. It starts off as blue and gold with a green gem at first stage, continues to become fancier blue and gold with a blue gem, then suddenly it turns red. That I cannot understand.
If you ask me, there should be Horde and Alliance versions seperately.

For Hordies, if they have stage 1 and 2 as the blue and gold you see on them, it.. doesn't quite fit, unlike the stage 3.
Same with Alliance players like myself; the first 2 stages fit, but then it turns red and.. then it doesn't quite fit.

Well, at least we have transmog. <3

The base armor will be crafted with a random amount each of two secondary stats (chosen out of Critical Strike, Haste, Mastery, Versatility or Multistrike)
The secondary stats can be re-rolled (randomly reselected) using the consumable item Leather Refurbishing Kit (1 item required per re-roll)
The quantity of secondary stats when crafted is random as well (e.g. one helm may have +116 crit and +126 haste, while another of the same type may have +96 crit and +138 haste)
This item counts towards 1 of the 3 maximum Warlords of Draenor crafted items that you can have equipped at one time
As the armor is upgraded, the appearance changes, with the gems and decorations becoming more elaborate and/or changing colour:

MAIL ARMOR

Stage 2 items have blue gems inlaid
Stage 3-6 items have red gems inlaid

LEATHER ARMOR

If you're looking at the Stage 2 iLvl 655 version of this cloak for transmog, keep in mind it actually appears purple, not blue, in most environments. The same goes for the Stage 2 version of Powerful Hexweave Cloak.

For unlocking the three transmog colours:
Create one of the three base leatherworking cloaks for the item level 640 teal appearance. Using a Burnished Essence to bring the cloak's item level to 655 will give you the blue appearance. Using a second Burnished Essence on the cloak will give you the red item level 670 appearance. Further evolving the cloak after this does not unlock any other appearances/transmog colours.
