Ahn'kahet: The Old KingdomLoot and Rewards

Completing 5 Timewalking dungeons in A Frozen Path Through Time rewards Seal of Inevitable Fate which is the bonus roll currency for Tier 18 and Mythic Dungeon loot, as well as a Iron Fleet Treasure Chest containing normal-mode Hellfire Citadel loot.

The gear earned from Timewalking bosses is ilvl 660-675, which is better than gear from Heroic Dungeons, Highmaul Normal, and Highmaul LFR.

If you did not run this instance back in the day, Timewalking is a great opportunity to learn more about the instance with friends. Players above level 81 can queue together for this Timewalking instance, so this is a fun way to play with friends that are not max level.

All bosses drop 5 Timewarped Badge (end bosses 10 Timewarped Badge), and this currency is used to purchase mounts, toys, badge gear, and more. See the full list in our Timewalking Guide.

For completing the instance and killing every boss, you can earn 0 Timewarped Badge.

Elder NadoxNotable Trash Mobs:

Ahn'kahar Watchers will attack the tank with Triple Slash, attacking three times in rapid succession, but are otherwise unremarkable

Ahn'kahar Slashers also have Triple Slash, and in addition will Cleave onto players near the tank

Ahn'kahar Spell Flingers are very dangerous casters; Shadow Blast deals 80% of a player's maximum health pool in damage and must be interrupted

Spell Flingers will also cast Shadow Sickle, which deals light Shadow damage to random players

Plague Walkers passively reduce the party's health pool through Aura of Lost Hope, which stacks every 5 seconds

Ahn'kahar Web Winders will cast Web Grab on a random player, dealing moderate damage and pulling that player towards the Web Winder

Web Winders also cast Tangled Webs, which, if not interrupted, will root players within 25 yards of the Web Winder for 8 seconds

Deep Crawlers debuff the party with Glutinous Poison, dealing a small amount of party-wide AoE damage

Ahn'kahar Swarmers are small, trivial spider packs that can be quickly AoEd down

Shadow BlastElder Nadox Tips & StrategyElder NadoxBrood Plague

Ahn'kahar Swarmers have very low health and deal low to moderate melee damage

One Ahn'kahar Guardian will also spawn, protecting all other enemies (including Elder Nadox) with Guardian Aura, preventing all damage dealt to these targets

The Guardian will also debuff its target with Deadly Poison, which stacks, becoming more dangerous the longer the Guardian lives

Guardians must be killed quickly, so that players can kill off the Swarmers and defeat the boss

Brood Rage

Pull Elder Nadox into a central position so that it is easier to see the Ahn'kahar Guardians when they spawn

Taunt the Ahn'kahar Guardians to prevent them from attacking players, and focus on dealing as much damage to the Guardian as possible

Once the Guardian is dead, use any AoE abilities you have to help clean up the Ahn'kahar Swarmers

Use cooldowns while afflicted with Brood Plague

Quickly kill the Ahn'kahar Guardians when they spawn

When Guardians are dead, use AoE abilities or incidental cleave to kill the Ahn'kahar Swarmers

If a Swarmer becomes empowered by Brood Rage, quickly kill it

If you have Swarmers attacking you while being buffed by Guardian Aura, use a survivability cooldown

Tank healing will be heavy throughout most of the fight

If you can remove Poison or Disease debuffs, dispel the Deadly Poison or Brood Plague effects from the tank

While protected by Guardian Aura, Ahn'kahar Swarmers are likely to attack you since players are unable to damage them to build threat

Use a survivability CD and heal yourself while under attack

Outside of Guardian Aura, other DPS may draw aggro on the Ahn'kahar Swarmers and need healing for a few moments before the Swarmers die

Prince TaldaramNotable Trash Mobs:Plundering GeistPlunder Health

Bonegrinders will Trample nearby players, dealing moderate damage, and will Enrage at low health; an enraged Trample can be very dangerous

Frostbringers will cast Frostbolt on the tank and will freeze nearby players with Frost Nova

Frostbringers may also buff themselves with Icy Winds, decreasing their cast speed but increasing the damage dealt by their Frost spells

Eye of Taldaram adds will use Shadow Shock against their current target, and will debuff casters with Eyes in the Dark

Any spell cast while a player is debuffed by Eyes in the Dark will be interrupted by Dark Counterspell, dealing heavy damage to the player and locking them out of that spell school for 8 seconds

Eyes in the Dark is a magic debuff and does not penalize instant casts, so healers can dispel the debuff from themselves

When the Eye of Taldaram dies, it releases Shadowfury, knocking nearby players back and inflicting heavy damage

At 66%, 50%, and 25% health, Prince Taldaram will Vanish for a few seconds

Taldaram selects a random player for Embrace of the Vampyr, stunning and draining that player's health until the party deals 40,000 damage to Taldaram, or for 20 seconds

The player affected by Embrace of the Vampyr cannot act and cannot be healed

Players should use their DPS cooldowns here to break the Embrace of the Vampyr effect and save their ally

Conjure Flame Sphere

This ability summons three Flame Spheres near Taldaram's location

The Flame Spheres will move away from Taldaram in straight lines

Each Flame Sphere can cast up to two Sear Beams on nearby players, dealing heavy damage while those players are within range

A player affected by multiple Sear Beam effects for more than a few seconds is likely to die

Players should run away from Flame Spheres once the Spheres have chosen a direction for their path

BloodthirstBloodthirst

Use an avoidance or absorption ability when Taldaram is buffed by Bloodthirst to attempt to prevent him from healing

Deal as much damage as possible to Taldaram during Embrace of the Vampyr, if you are not affected

Run away from the Flame Spheres' path

Save DPS cooldowns for Embrace of the Vampyr to help break allies out of the stun effect quickly

Tank damage from Taldaram's melee and Bloodthirst attacks is very high

Any player who does not move quickly out of the Flame Spheres' path will take heavy damage

You cannot heal the target of Embrace of the Vampyr, so instead top off other players or damage the boss

Run away from the Flame Spheres' path

Jedoga ShadowseekerNotable Trash Mobs:

Twilight Apostles buff themselves with Lightning Shield, will buff an ally with Bloodlust, and will heal allies with Healing Wave

Twilight Darkcasters will debuff casters with Curse of Tongues, and cast Shadow Bolt and Corruption on random players

Healers can dispel Corruption, and classes with abilities that remove Curses can dispel the Curse of Tongues

Twilight Worshippers cast Flamestrike, dealing very heavy Fire damage to players in its area of effect, and will cast Fireball at their threat target

Bound Air Elementals cast Lightning Bolt at their threat target, and will use Forked Lightning, dealing damage to players in front of the Elemental

Bound Fire Elementals will Scorch the tank

Bound Water Elementals create a Water Spout under a random player, knocking all nearby players into the air and dealing moderate damage, and will also shoot Water Bolt at random enemies

Cyclone Strike deals heavy damage to players in melee range and will knock them back

Thundershock creates a lightning cloud on the ground, which deals heavy damage to players standing in it

Lightning Bolt deals a small amount of Nature damage to a randomly-chosen target

A bolt of lightning will identify the chosen Volunteer

The Twilight Volunteer will begin walking toward the purple circle beneath the boss, and cannot be slowed or stunned

If the Volunteer reaches the center of the circle, he will sacrifice himself, granting Jedoga the Gift of the Herald buff

Players must kill the Volunteer before it reaches the center of the circle to prevent the sacrifice

ThundershockCyclone Strike

Pull Jedoga away from nearby Thundershock pools

Use a cooldown when Jedoga begins to cast Cyclone Strike

Taunt Jedoga quickly when she lands after the Twilight Ascendance ritual

Help to kill the Twilight Volunteer to prevent Jedoga from gaining Gift of the Herald

Quickly kill the Twilight Volunteer as it walks towards Jedoga during the Twilight Ascendance ritual

Refresh DoTs as Jedoga nears 50% health, as DoTs will continue to tick on her while she is otherwise immune during Twilight Ascendance

Move out of Thundershock pools, and ranged DPS should stay out of melee range to avoid taking Cyclone Strike damage

Tank damage will be consistently high in this fight, except for during the Twilight Ascendance

Players who stand in Thundershock or Cyclone Strike will take spiky damage and may require emergency healing

Assist in DPSing the Twilight Volunteer during Twilight Ascendance, or take the time to top off injured players in advance of the Thundershock Jedoga will cast when Twilight Ascendance ends

Move out of Thundershock pools and stay away from Cyclone Strike

He casts Mind Flay on the tank; this can be interrupted

He casts Shadow Bolt Volley, dealing moderate Shadow damage to all players

He debuffs a random player with Shiver, a Curse effect that deals additional damage when the affected player takes damage from another source

Shiver has five stacks, and will jump to a new player, shedding a stack, each time it is triggered

Each player is in his or her own copy of reality, and faces hostile clones of the other members of the party

These clones have the same model and will use the same abilities that the players in your party use, including CC effects

Players must defeat all four of the hostile clones in their version of reality to escape

Upon defeating all four of their own hostile clones, they will be transported at random to another player's copy of reality and can assist that player in defeating the clones

Kill the four clones in your version of reality, then assist other players with theirs

Use survivability cooldowns, self-healing abilities, and CC to keep yourself alive during Insanity, since the healer cannot heal you

Taunt Volazj after each Insanity phase ends

During the normal phase, the tank will take very heavy damage, especially when Mind Flay is not interrupted

Moderate AoE healing will be required to deal with Shadow Bolt Volley damage

Dispel Shiver if your dispel ability can remove Curse effects; otherwise, keep an eye on Shiver targets as they may take damage spikes

During Insanity, use survivability cooldowns and CC to survive if you cannot kill the hostile clones yourself

Following Insanity, the party is likely to be on low health; use a cooldown to heal back up before the next Shadow Bolt Volley

Amanitar will occasionally spawn dozens of targetable, killable mushrooms throughout the encounter area

Most of these mushrooms are Poisonous Mushrooms, which emit a Poison Cloud when they die

Some of these mushrooms will be Healthy Mushrooms, which will remove the Mini debuff that Amanitar frequently casts on the party, or, if the player is not affected by Mini, will grant the player a Potent Fungus buff

Players must avoid killing the Poisonous Mushrooms, to prevent taking excessive damage

Players should kill Healthy Mushrooms judiciously, as these mushrooms are the only way to remove Mini

Amanitar frequently resets his threat table, so taunt the boss each time this occurs

If afflicted by Mini, run to a Healthy Mushroom and kill it to remove the debuff

Take care not to destroy too many Healthy Mushrooms, and avoid killing any Poisonous Mushrooms

Carefully kill Healthy Mushrooms to remove Mini and to gain Potent Fungus to help kill the boss

Do not use AoE abilities, to avoid killing too many mushrooms unnecessarily

When Amanitar wipes threat, use a survivability cooldown if he targets you

Party damage is light if players are not killing Poisonous Mushrooms, so AoE healing will be needed rarely

The tank will take heavy damage throughout the fight, and when Amanitar wipes threat, another player may take very heavy, but hopefully brief, melee damage

Dispel Entangling Roots when possible

If affected by Mini, run to a Healthy Mushroom and kill it to remove the debuff

Just get a DK, mind control a spell flinger, kill bosses in seconds.

A DK can MC the Spell-Flingers to deal insane damage to bosses and notable mobs. I have personally tested and approved this a few dozen times.
