Troll Warlocks?

Okay I have wanted to see troll warlocs since WotLK came out and when I heard about the new race/class combos right after Cat was announced i was hoping to see Troll Warlocks listed as a new Class combo... but nope... trolls can be druids but not locks... don't get me wrong, druid is my favorite class but a troll warlock would be pretty cool... and I mean would it be that far of a stretch? Essentially a lock is a Shadow Priest that can summon demons!
Thoughts?

I would prefer an entire new priest class dedicated to troll gods, replacing both. They can hybrid shape-shift into half troll half animal form, for epic win, and worship troll gods and have super cool voodoo abilities, not to mention summon every troll god from every troll instance as level 85 on a 2 minute cooldown.
No really, I would kill to have a priest of the troll gods.

Nowhere (As far as I know) is there any account of a Troll Warlock. There are Shadow Hunters and Witch Doctors, yes, but that is much different than being an actual Warlock. There is just no lore to support it.

And now, please help me welcome the first of the lore nazis! Give Him a hand!

Small in number but vicious, Hakkar’s followers battle zealously to keep their ruined temple and city free of invaders. The Hakkari provide much of the priests’ military magic and are a strange group: All of them are willing and ready to battle their enemies, and thus all could be considered members of their military. In addition, just about all Hakkari are priests of at least some talent, so invaders are up against a lot of magical pain. In addition, undead Atal’ai, returned to a semblance of life through god-granted necromancy, supplement the ranks.
The Hakkari don’t like taking chances; they want nothing to disturb Hakkar, now that he is manifest. Thus, priests patrol halls in teams of 2 or 3. If they run into trouble, they do not hesitate to call for reinforcements, so intruders soon find themselves facing a small army of angry troll priests.
The Hakkari are intelligent opponents, but their fervor dilutes their cunning. Some priests charge into battle, eager to smash their foes in melee combat, when staying away from the enemy and casting spells may be a better option. These zealots’ cooler-headed comrades perform this function, staying away from the enemy — especially types that look like they could put on the hurt in melee combat — and cast spells to throw their enemies into confusion. They favor spells like shadow word pain, dispel magic, summon undead and death coil. Powerful priests make liberal use of blasphemy. After they exhaust the offensive spell slots in their two highest levels, they enhance themselves and their allies with inner fire, heroism and avatar and charge into melee. Once there, they strike with their weapons and with spells like inflict critical wounds and harm

Hmm... Considering the latest reply,(from the person who isn't me)
I'm the only one who thinks that sounds warlockish....

Trolls should get a Shadow Hunter class imo and they need to do something more with Vol'jin in the next x-pac instead of just having him stand next to Thrall(or Garrosh?).

Well even if it "sounds" warlock-ish, it doesn't make them Warlocks.
From what I've noticed, this is how Blizzard rolls the game;
Game mechanics > Lore to make game mechanics better > Lore > Player feedback/easier interface > random/fun bull$%^& > Made up lore to apeaze a small group of people.
Example; Troll Warlocks and uh... *cough Tauren Rogues cough*
Or Undead Paladins.. I would murder for an undead paladin. Gonna happen? No way.

Tauren Rogues? Who wants a Tauren rogue?... That makes about as much sense as a dwarf shaman... or an orc mage!... oh, yeh, *facepalm*

WOW, dude, is sarcasm a foreign language to you? I KNOW there are dwarf shamans, hence the *facepalm*...
And also... how the hell does a tauren rogue make sense? Lore aside, how the hell would a 15 foot, like, 850 lb. monster with hooves sneak up on someone? (also makes you wonder about orc rogues... HULK SNEAK UP ON YOU!)

Who hasn't been hit by Trolls casting shadowbolts? that is part of lore and is evidence of Trolls approaching the warlock class. If that isn't enough then it wouldn't be that far of a stretch of the imagination to implement such a thing and create new lore that would tie in nicely.
THANK YOU!

Spend some time in Hellfire Peninsula or Un'goro Crater. Check out the Fel Reavers and Devilsaurs. Doesn't get much bigger and they still can sneak up on you.

SUPPORT! Every troll tribe (with the exception of darkspear) has a witch doctor class. And for those who say witch doctors are shamans, you're wrong. They use shadow bolt. But somewhere there is a darkspear with <Witch Doctor In Training>. WTF BLIZZARD?
Or instead they make hero class! Witch doctor! specializes in healing or causing shadow based diseases/ curses!
Armor proficiencies: Cloth/leather
Class skills: Voodoo, Infection, Medicine
Races: Troll, Tauren, Night Elf, Human
Starting level: 35
Requires a 35 to make one
Of course it's all going to occur in the following expansion if it does take off. (Wrath of Zul, expansion IV).

That would be sooo siick, but slightly overpowered, you'd have to make it more squishy than a regular priest in order to pull that one off...
lol the posting code for this was uwent
The last part was a joke, obviously summoning raid bosses on a 2 minute cooldown is OP.

To satisfy your needs of more troll evil and awesome stuff, I shall post these hero class ideas. I would like to see an entire expansion dedicated to trolls, screw orcs trolls were theroetically the first and most important intelligent race on azeroth.
Shadowhunter:
"The shadow hunters' faith and communion with the Loa gods grants them shadow and healing magic, and other abilities. Shadow Hunters learn magic that hinders enemies and aids allies, gaining a unique mix of spells that delve into the more occult aspects of the Loa.
Loa spirits are more powerful than the elementals, but not as powerful as gods. Supposedly, these spirits are mighty entities that grant the faithful extraordinary powers. By calling upon these voodoo spirits, the shadow hunter gains special blessings with which he can combat darkness and help those in need. The abilities granted vary according to the Loa the shadow hunter calls upon. Almost any being who has died and transcended death can be worshiped as a Loa, including Forsaken shadow ascendants.
There, an elemental worshipping shadow hunter, that can HEAL! How cool is that? Could be given to forsaken to because they can become Loa, so woshipping isn't to far off.
List of gods for shadowhunters:
* Legba, Loa of Speed.
* Lukou, Loa of Healing and Respite.
* Ogoun, Loa of War.
* Dambala, Loa of serpents and treachery.
* Samedi, Loa of the cemeteries and the restful sleep of the dead.
* Shango, Controller of the Realm of Storms.
Specs:
PVP: Path of Ogoun.
Healing: Path of Lukou.
DPS: Path of Samedi.
Path of Ogoun:
High burst damage on a cooldown (All out battle), then kiting and stunning 'till cooldowns up. (Skirmishes). They have come to Azeroth in force because of the amount of war going on, exciting them.
Path of Lukou:
Dedicated to healing obviously, came to azeroth because of all the war and fighting to help aid the wounded.
Path of Samedi:
Good sustained DPS.
Come because Arthas the lich king has been out rezzing the dead and stuffz, so obviously they came to kick his ass.
Feel free to expand, I could if I wasn't so damn tired.
