Hey all! Just thought I'd make a post with a great talent spec for PvP Demo Locks. I'd like to thank Fingulfi and Brokle for help on this. A sticky would be nice, but if not, whatever. Well, here goes...
http://www.wowhead.com/talent#IZIrrcoubRdoIbb:am0qmd
is the talent spec you'll want to be using. Let me break it down.
Why you should go Demo:
Demonology Locks have high AoE damage (more honorable kills), excellent AoE crowd control (and can be glyphed for good single-target crowd control, see above), and above all have a great mix of damage, cc, aoe, and survivability (due to cc).
Talents:
Dark Arts and Demonic Embrace should be self-explaining. Fel Synergy helps you keep your Felguard alive, which helps, especially with cleaving Warriors, the times your Felguard runs off, and just in general not having to watch over your pet so much.
Demonic Rebirth: Partially just to go up the tree, and partially in the event that someone pisses you off and does actually kill your pet, leaving you vulnerable (at least as vulnerable as a Warlock can be). Demonic Empowerment should be self-explanatory.
Molten Core powers up Incinerate, your main spell as a Demo Warlock. Hand of Gul'dan and Aura of Foreboding: AoE attacks are nice to boost your honorable kills, but what's even nicer is that these work as a GREAT crowd control.
Ancient Grimoire may seem good, but it's better to place your talents elsewhere. Inferno is nice for AoE'ing people about to die (i.e., middle of Warsong Gulch... you shouldn't be in the middle, but in the event you are and people run away with low health... away they go... just an example. Other uses too. Like for interrupting a mass amount of people trying to cap a flag in Arathi Basin, and dealing heavy damage too). Decimation adds for a nice Soul Fire finishing blow. Other than when under its effects, you should normally use Incinerate due to the faster cast time.
Cremation and Demonic Pact: Self-explanatory.
Metamorphosis: Please don't ask me why you would have to pick this up...
---
Bane-- speed is everything in PvP. Shadow and Flame is purely for extra Incinerate damage. Improved Immolate... well, you should always have Immolate on your target.
Emberstorm: Once again, speed is everything in PvP. The faster they die, the slower you do.
As for glyphs:
Prime:
Felguard
and
Incinerate
add damage to what is already often used.
Metamorphosis
... please don't make me explain...
Major:
Shadowflame
adds nice crowd control... as if Hand of Gul'dan and Hellfire wasn't enough. More is better.
Howl of Terror
... yet again, more crowd control, and more survivability if your HoG and Shadowflame don't stop your enemy (or if your Death Gripped, or... well, you get the picture).
Soul Link
flat out gives more survivability. You don't have Haunt, good Drain Life, or anything Affliction has... so, as a last resort, this glyph adds more survivability Plus, once done with combat, it helps further. Health is vital in BG's. I'm not really going to go further on this, because I would hope that this is basic knowledge.
Minor: Really doesn't matter...
Rotation:
Don't really plan to have a "rotation" in PvP, but keep Immolate up, use Soul Fire when under Decimation, and use Metamorphosis when possible. Incinerate is your main single-target spell. Use CC when needed. You have quite the AoE/CC repertoire as a Demo Lock, but can still do well in 1 vs 1 combat.
Well, that's all... hope you like it!
Note: You may want swap out Howl of Terror glyph for Demonic Circle, depending on preference. Mass fear vs. fast teleport once set up.

True. Had a major brain lapse there, forgetting that was talent-learned. Corrected now in above post.
Thanks for the input!

Ive been a warlock for a few years and through experience i am skilled in pvp warlocking in every spec, be it demo afflic or destro. Now cata changed a lot but i am still experienced. but in regard to the demonology pvp. It is amazing for bgs yes. And even in arenas it can be great because as of now destro is not the king of burst damage in arenas... demo is. I am not terribly geared even... 1900 resil and ive crit 26ks on shadowbolt in arena.
the initial post was very vague besides talents... First of all i take the shadowbolt route in that after working around i saw taht my shadowbolt hits harder than my incinerate even while immo is up. and i get the crit buff from using shadowbolt as well, so instead of points in emberstorm (i believe thats the talent in the second level of the destro tree) i put it in improved soulfire.
Now demo is nice if you know the method to the mayhem. Demonology locks have several strong factors... first of which being killer spellpower, Your pet can do significant damage. And there are combos, stun combos. example, hand of guldan root... if you hit them with your felguards stun 2 secs in you can stun them until the hand of guldan stun comes around and with another few secs ur hand of guldan will be up agian, if you glyph fear, which is used aminly for cc in dungeons, you can fear them inside it like your pets stun for the hand of guldan stun to come around seeing as they have to sit in the aura for 3 secs after the root ends. this can result in a good 7 or 8 seconds of controll over your kill target. once you have used your pets stun you can now procede to have him felstorm. another good thing is we have our own mini heroism. Pop your demon soul for 15% haste, your meta for 44% damage increase i believe, soulshard soulfire for 15% haste stackedand your really hitting hard. Dont be afraid to get in melle range as demonology, you have about 50k armor in meta, demon leap in for significant damage and immo aura kicks butt even with 1 target. if its shor fights dont be afraid to use your death coil aggressively and when fighting casters keep your curse of toungues up... it doesnt ovvur to most locks to use that great spell... give it a shot, i arena with a shadowpriest as afflic but demo is fun as well and has super burst, glad i could help

@ Knite... Shadowbolt vs Incinerate... Incinerate may be slightly behind in dps, but it's a faster cast time, making it the spell to use in PvP
@Witham... I'd prefer Emberstorm, because it lowers overall cast time, and doesn't require the initial Soul Fire. Realize that Soul Fire is to be used only with Decimation from Incinerate for a finishing move, and the CD makes Emberstorm preferred, since Emberstorm affects Soul Fire and Incinerate, which once again, is your "main" spell (main is quoted because it's really hard to call something your main ability in PvP).

It's felguard.
Did not notice that typo. Fixed from "the times your Doomguard runs off" to "the times your Felguard runs off".
Thank you.

Thanks for the info there. Really, shouldn't be using SB in Bg's as Demo anyways, but with that, it's cased closed there.

Just pointing out a typo :)

And since we're losing Improved Soul Fire, faster cast speed is even more important

Emberstorm has more uses/gets "procced" (for lack of a better comparable word) more often, and like said, Imp Soul Fire is gonna be gone for Demo Warlocks.
And...
@ Knite... Shadowbolt vs Incinerate... Incinerate may be slightly behind in dps, but it's a faster cast time, making it the spell to use in PvP
