The people in the thread are more versed in lore then most on the board.
2. The other one I cannot find, but essentially Holy Priests don't exist. The only priests are Shadow Priests, Holy tree is just a game mechanic. I think there was one card-game character that was a Forsaken Holy Priest, but this is extremely rare. Casting any spell would be like stabbing yourself with a knife all the way through your arm multiple times.

I LOL'd at the OP, but then /facepalm'd at this debate over the lore. You guys have the fury of a rabid Star Trek convention nerd, and receive the same apathetic shrug from me as they get.
I'm sure there were just as many people viciously "defending the lore" back when they allowed female Druids and male Priests for Night Elves (which is about the extent of my knowledge of the lore, tbh). And I'm sure very few people cared a month later.

In-game = canon. Forsaken holy priests exist. And they use the same Light paladins do, theoretically.
Maybe it's actually Lite though - lower carb, unable to sustain a frame bearing plate armor.
The thing is, in lore, Undead cannot be Holy priests. Most are Shadow priests. Some are Discipline priests. Technically, Discipline spells aren't holy, so it would merely be the very...disciplined undead that could perform those spells.
It's also been argued that the source of light that priests use is different than the light that Paladins use, but the issue is more game balance. It would be odd if an undead could be Shadow, MAYBE Discipline, but not Holy. Paladins, on the other hand, are purely Holy. There's no "Shadow side" or what have you, to justify them having the class, and thus the other "specs" being a mechanical thing.

Undead paladins are just wrong. I don't care about the lore, or class mechanics, undead paladins are just wrong. Taurens make slightly more sense.
I think it's a neato concept. Maybe they could use undead powers instead of holy powers. Like, they could siphon the life force of their enemies by leeching their blood. Then, they could freeze them with their cold, menacing glares and attacks, before using their Unholy magic to slowly rot away their enemies, wrecking havoc all across the land.

I was reading that and was about to reply snarkily, but you beat me to it =P
In-game = canon
So raid bosses come back to life after a week,, lore-wise? No. There are no Forsaken holy priests, just as there are no shadow priest draenei, as that would corrupt them, thus mutating them into Eredar demons.
