In addition ive found the AOE situation to be a bit problamatical; mainly dealing with swarms or the "weak" enemies like the
Sapfly
. I've found that
tends to one-hit them, so you can't
Lava Lash
&
.
Magma Totem
's damage never seems to be enough to make it better than just killing them all individally :(
This so much. We have so much aoe potential but the setup makes low hp enemies and spread out enemies really hinder us. I have thought about just giving us a new spell, Static Field, that has a 2 second cast time, replaces chain lightning, and is affected by MW. It would charge us with lightning that causes damage to enemies within 15 yds similar to unholy blight. It may be less aoe damage than we do now but we already have pretty good single target dps. We just need quality of life improvements.

apart from the fact that enh is a bit rather more item-related (imho) with an average level of weapon in hands, no matter how good your rotation ( jesus its too many buttons damn!) is you will have no more dps than a warr tank...
i guess elem is rather easier ( no hard feelings pls)
BTW you can share your rotation here please?
thanks

Unlike warriors, who share both 1h and 2h strength weapons with DK's and Paladins (that means there are a ton of drops), Enh. 1h agility weapons are as rare as hen's teeth. Even the crafted or BOA's are designed for rogues (swords, daggers) which is supremely frustrating. Enh. is definitely more of a thinking man's choice. My warrior and Paladin are a lot easier to play, put out competitive dps in a simpler manner, were much easier to gear up, but were not all that challenging. Ret Paladin is so simple I keep thinking I must be forgetting something. Enh is a challenge and will keep you awake during a raid - do it. Do it well.
